The core of Murder on Eridanos is to solve a crime… and murder is just the beginning of what you will find. You will have to interrogate witnesses, learn about potential alibis, and argue who you believe is responsible. This also leads to some entertaining outcomes as it is up to you to decide what to do. Do you falsely accuse an innocent spectator? Do you present a poor case with lack of evidence? How will others respond? What happens if you try to convince people that you somehow are responsible for the murder? Yes, even that is possible. [Obsidian] Expand

The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos is a marvelous farewell to the memorable cast and locales that this game has delivered to players. If you have enjoyed the quirky adventures of the Unreliable’s “heroic” crew, you owe it to yourself to experience this last hurrah in Halcyon.

Without spoiling the story, if you liked the base game of The Outer Worlds, you will love Murder on Eridanos on Xbox. The narrative is tight and keeps you guessing, the new gear is fun to find and use, and the increase in the level cap has been reflected across the game.

Fans, for their part, will find all the ingredients that made up the recipe for the base game and will be able to immerse themselves in this fanciful universe for 5 to 7 hours.

Very cool game. I like the vibe off Fallout New Vegas, and I see this vibe in this game.

The last DLC was combat heavy but this is more story heavy. The areas aren't too big and littered with extra stuff to do. The story is engaging and not too long. Best of the DLC so far. Expand

The outcome is not surprising, the area is actually pretty cool, but there is again a lack of real innovations. No new weapons, cool equipment or diverse opponents. There is also no new team member and basically nothing can be done in the Penthouse Suite.

The dialogues are strong again, but I just expected that. Now in the second DLC I was hoping for a lot more in terms of gameplay. The discrepancy amplifier was annoying.

Furthermore, I had to pause the game due to technical problems. You couldn't save until the last patch without crashing the game. The DLC also has texture reloaders or FPS drops (played on the Series X). Now with the newest Update the hard crash bug is fixed (09.04.2021).

Took me about 6 hours and would give 6/10 murder suspects.

Was buggy at outset, but better than first DLC by a long shot, but still not good and certainly not at full price.

Better than Peril on Gorgon and has more story, but it doesn't feel like your investigation matters. Nice premise, poor execution. These DLCs are also coming out very, very late from the core game, so it's hard to get back into the swing of TOW (as well as having to backtrack to play the DLC). Expand

I thought "Bug-sidian" might be a thing of the past despite its poor showing with ports, but this DLC crashes more times on the Xbox than II thought "Bug-sidian" might be a thing of the past despite its poor showing with ports, but this DLC crashes more times on the Xbox than I have the patience for (7+). It's currently unfinishable because of crashes, and a lesson that maybe you should test your games before releasing them. FIX. YOUR. GAME. And next time? TEST. YOUR. GAME. Expand
