The Golf Tour 2019 gets players hooked, is challenging and deep in its gameplay for veterans and easy access for rookies.

The Golf Club 2019 is as close to real world golf as you can get. HB Studios goes above and beyond to strike a fine balance between accessible and challenging. With its repetitive commentary and its plastic avatars to the side, there’s very little to scoff at. The game’s functions are remarkably fluid, precise and deep, allowing players to immerse themselves in an authentic and faithful representation of the sport.

Even with small small gripes, I found the overall package of The Golf Club 2019 to be a huge step in the right direction. I dug far deeper into this year’s outing than any other in this series. HB Studios has really tightened up the core mechanics, and now with the PGA license and an amazing suite of customizable tools, the series has nothing but upside. If you’re like me and have been craving to hit the digital links again, I highly recommend giving The Golf Club 2019 a look.

It is, in essence, a game about golf that is as true to the sport as can be. Sure, it may be a sport for the rich and aristocratic among us, but in the virtual world of The Golf Club 2019, we can all experience a little bit of the competitive high life. It may not land an ace, but it’s still plenty under par.

The Golf Club strikes back, and this time it has the official PGA Tour licence. PGA Tour isn’t just a cosmetic feature, it adds a whole new level to the Carreer mode, making it even more interesting.

This is the moment to enjoy the renewed The Golf Club, thanks to the career mode in association with PGA Tour. This game looks quite pretty and allows to the golf fans to enjoy or learn in a complete social platform. Quite intuitive control system, could be rough for newbies. This license is trying to become an AAA game, but it seems to be far from this option. It’s a good approach, but still they’ve so much to improve.

The PGA TourThere is a ton of content for you to sink your teeth into and this game will no doubt keep you satisfied for many months to come. The PGA Tour licencse gives the game an extra edge and it was brilliant being able to play the many courses that the game offers you. I really enjoyed when it came to the presentation side of the game and I was especially impressed with the visuals which look very decent.
Technically the game holds up really well and the mechanics have been implemented excellently which means the game is both fun and challenging. The physics when it comes to your swing and the golf ball have a very realistic feel to them and this does make things even more immersive. The sound design is pretty good on the whole the commentators isn’t as good and they can get on your nerves from time to time. The course creator is absolutely brilliant when you finally get the hang of it but it is a little complicated at first and the tutorial isn’t very good. Does The Golf Club 2019 featuring PGA Tour do enough to get a recommendation from me? Golf game’s haven’t really been prominent over recent year’s and in a way they definitely aren’t as popular as they once were. That being said golf game’s still have quite a big following and without a doubt The Golf Club 2019 will satisfy quite a lot. This satisfied feeling will last you for quite a while as well because in terms of content the game has a huge amount for you to get to grips with and the inclusion of the PGA Tour licence gives the game even more content and courses. Thankfully the massive content in the game doesn’t suffer with many problems as well and you’ll definitely be pleased with how the game holds up when it comes to the technical side of things. On the whole then this game delivers in a number of key areas and as far as golf game’s go it’s probably the best addition we’ve seen in quite a while and without a doubt it gets a thumbs up from me.

This makes it both interesting and challenging and I was excited. The golf game play it's self is awesome, hard to fault. However I just cant play it, it's a combination of things. 1. The fluorescent clothed crowd, they stick out like a sore thumb a simple fix would make a huge difference, people don't all wear fluorescent clothes. 2. The commentator, he is nothing short of boring, there is no emotion in his voice he is dull and repetitive. Barely any excitement from him or the player even when you land a good shot. 3. Some graphical effect that puts an arc like a few meters in front of the camera that is almost always there and always noticeable and annoying. AND 4. Last but not least the money, win a tournament and get $80 Why.

If you are going to base a game on reality, have real commentators, real colored clothes on the crowd, real visuals (no arc) and real prize money. Let me build up money to travel to the next tourn, hire a better caddy, better equipment, fly business class. Make it real.

The Golf Club 2019 finally fixes the putting and chipping mechanics, which makes the game much more playable. The game is still challenging, and shooting a good score is rewarding. The multiplayer in 2019 is also much better, with a great head-to-head mode, or private matches with friends. Looking forward to seeing what they do with the PGA Tour license. Hopefully we'll get some real players, and many more licensed courses throughout the year. Full Review »
