Jun 25, 2015One of the best games out there. It's clear as day that the large majority of these "negative reviews" are coming from people who have not even played the game and are either just trolling to be miserable trolls or are mad because their game might be failing in some way
-
Jun 25, 2015This game is definitely one of the best games I have ever played, and THE best MMORPG out there at this, and a much longer, time. Everything from graphics to storyline are beautifully done.

Sep 22, 2015Do you like boring fetch quests and WoW clones? If you do- ESO is the game for you. This game may appeal to someone who just wants to fight monsters non stop and is looking for zero depth, it certainly won't appeal to people who like Skyrim though.
Lots of running, long loading screens, boring and bland world. -

Jun 27, 2015Connecting to friends is a massive challenge, the game will crash on start up half of the time, and worst of all it is extremely pay to win. Enjoying walking across Tamriel for eternity unless you're willing to drop even more cash on a mount. A $60 game should NOT have micro transactions, especially one that is painfully boring.

Jul 6, 2015A horrible game. Graphics are worse than Skyrim and the playability is too worse... I don't believe that this game is 2015.
I'm really lucky, because the store changed the game by another! -

Jun 10, 2015So far, here are my accomplishments...size the screen, adjust my brightness, and watch smoke for 20 minutes while I'm told I am the 1st in the queue and my wait time is 1 second. Actual game time over 48 hours=0.
Please don't waste your money on this now. At least Destiny with it's issues is playable. -

Jun 16, 2015The game is just about running from A-B alongside dozens of other people doing the same quests at the same time. Any interaction other than Emotes is via headset/speaker...so forget any Role-Playing and listen to inane chat about 'how can i level up

Jun 22, 2015The WORST game on Xbox ONE atm. May as well play Runescape instead. No dialogue, combat is awful, too many people running round. Nothing like skyrim or oblivion.
-
Jun 19, 2015DO NOT THINK THIS IS ELDER SCROLLS 6. Play Fallout 4 this November or Skyrim right now. Avoid this cesspool of MMO tropes bad habits. MMO is not Elder Scrolls.
-
Jun 23, 2015Certainly not the worst game I've ever played, but pretty close. Working around other gamers in the world, stability issues, horrible dialogue, and an uninteresting storyline make this game almost unplayable. The missions are completely empty and mostly consist of walking to different locations and reading dialogue. Nothing like Skyrim, do not buy if you don't want to be bored.

Aug 31, 2015Its the only console mmo on xbox 1 so you can't really compare it to anything else. There is a lot of quests but its very boring to lvl up. once you get to around VR 3 thats when the game gets more fun. PVP and harder dungeons is the end game content. The way to get better gear is quite boring and RNG. 8/10
-
Jun 25, 2015Elder Scrolls Online had some issues with the launch, most of them got fixed though. I can't really complain their costumer support is second to none, and the game is just perfect.
-
Jun 25, 2015Fans of fantasy RPG have had to wait a long time for a game where they can imagine themselves as heroes in 'another world' without paying by the month for it.
-
Jun 25, 2015No commitment fun. I'm not tied down by a subscription - which is great. But most importantly, the game is beautiful. I'm happy they worked on it hard this past year. Quality really shines through.
-
Jun 25, 2015A terrific blend of social questing, incredibly flexible game mechanics that engage rather than bore, and a deep, beautiful, and magical world to explore is something we've seen from many games in years past. But take that and apply it to an MMO...and do it incredible well...that is truly a remarkable accomplishment. It's fun, It's huge.
-
Jun 25, 2015Elder Scrolls Online is awesome, it was more than I could expect. The game is fantastic and I really love all the beautiful details... the quality is way above any other MMO I've played. The personal story is intriguing and you can't stop playing.
-
Jun 25, 2015This is one of the finest games I have ever played. It succeeds in all areas that I care about in an MMO. It is fun to play by myself and interact with other people I don't know and its also fun to play with friends you know.
-
Jun 25, 2015Seriously the most innovative MMO.
Any low reviews are people with out-dated computers, WoW fanboys or outright Blizzard employees.
There is NOTHING bad about this game. -
Jun 25, 2015Loving this game so far. You'll see Elder Scrolls Online clones in the coming years. It's brought a lot of inovative elements to the genre. Really great game.
-
Jun 25, 2015Game is a breakthrough in MMOs. It respects my time and doesn't favor people with monster amounts of time over adults with families and jobs. Grinding is essentially eliminated and the world quests are very fun. No pressure to get to max level.
-
Jun 25, 2015Fantastic game, closest mmo to "perfect" I've seen since wow, Plus, with no sub fee, you don't feel pressured to play to get your moneys-worth out of it, staggeringly good PvE exploration and AvAvA is fantastic.
-
Jun 25, 2015This is the first game ever, in which I genuinely have had a great, fun time playing. I am not forced to grind or to do anything that makes the game feel like a chore. Playing with friends who've just got the game is not a burden and best of all, there's no subscription fee.
-
Jun 25, 2015There are a lot of people throwing poor reviews at this game to be edgy, and it's pretty unfair. I've played dozens of MMOs, from launch, including WoW, Warhammer, City of Heroes/Villains, Rift, UO, EQ, Champions Online, SWTOR, Asheron's Call 1 & 2, and countless others. This game is better than the best parts of all of them.
-
Jun 25, 2015Hands down the greatest game I've ever played, and I have close to a thousand titles under my belt. Not sure why, but the critic score is lower than I expected...

Jun 25, 2015This game offers much to players starved for change and innovation, while still giving the great feeling of progression and reward MMORPGs strive to give. Players are naturally encouraged to play together thanks to systems they have in place, and are all rewarded equally for things they participate in, whether that be quests or simply kills.
-
Jun 25, 2015Amazing Game, unlike any other mmo when it come to leveling.
Experience is gained from almost doing anything, from crafting to exploring and all things in between. -
Jun 25, 2015This game is fantastic, beautiful graphics, tons of content, and a huge, immersive world. The quality of this subscription-free game shows up how laughable the subscription model is.
-
Jun 25, 2015I always wanted to get distracted in an MMO. To get lost in its world. In Elder Scrolls Online I am so lost and always distracted by everyday surprises. It has everything I ever wanted in a modern MMO.

Nov 13, 2019Im sorry i couldn't give this game a higher than a seven but the corporate greed is so toxic and rampant that it overall hurts my enjoyment of this cool game. If you want to buy it because your a big elderscrolls fan like myself you should, but if your just looking for a cool mmo then you should try Bless Unleashed.
-
Mar 18, 2022Great game and great community! Constant evolution and ZeniMax cares of feeback from players.
-
Feb 21, 2023I have been playing ESO for nearly four years and have every DLC- I am in love with this game. The worldbuilding is astounding and the creativity in both zones/quests/events/cosmetics is lovely. I love playing this game both alone and with some amazing friends I met through exploring. At first, I was very skeptical, but once I was fully immersed, I was hooked.

Aug 17, 2023Played for 15 hours and it's good as an MMO but did not have a great single player experience. Tried going back to play it a few times and just could not get into it.

Jul 13, 2015Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited has addressed many of the issues that plagued the first title. There are still some issues with clipping, connections, and voice chat, but the game is still quite enjoyable with plenty of quests to complete and areas to explore. It isn't the perfect MMO by far, but at least it's one that won't cost you $15 a month and you can come back to it whenever you feel like exploring Tamriel.
-
Jul 10, 2015It may not be the best-looking MMORPG out there and its social tools could use some serious work, but in the end, The Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel Unlimited offers an intuitive and competent experience for console gamers and Skyrim fans alike.
-
Jul 10, 2015Tamriel Unlimited is neither a great Elder Scrolls game nor an MMORPG for the ages, but it's something else entirely. An addictive if often awkward compromise with an astonishing amount of quality subscription-free content.
