Feb 22, 2016Just like the movie, this spider man story should have never been released. The combat is terrible, the graphics look like a xbox 360 game, and easily gets repetitive. The storyline is even worse than the movie this game is based off. If your a marvel fan, you should definitely not play this game.

Jun 15, 2014This game is so bad.
Really.
My Watch Dogs profile is:
Name:MineHaxx
Occupation:Casual Gamer
Status:Suckered by Activision
Bank Account:-39.99$
Reasons:
1.Bad story that is 1.5 hours long.
2.Side missions are all one and the same.
3.HERO OR MENACE SYSTEM IS MENACE TO THE WORLD!!
4.Crashing,freezing and problems.
I hope that TASM3 will be better. -
Jun 21, 2020Not that bad. But pretty bad. Open world and web swinging is honestly a blast. Thats about it though.

Jul 4, 2020If you can ignore long loading times, bad story, and repetative combat this is the best way to play spider-man on xbox, the web swinging is clearly not perfect but the stealth is surprizingly fun. This game was unfotunatly clearly rushed out and it shows. But it does atleast improve on certain aspects of the original

Mar 25, 2023So much worse then the original Amazing Spider-man game. Combat was slightly improved but everything was worse. The loading screens after dying was insanely long as well. The open world was so boring and the story was so forgettable. The enemy variety is also lacking as well. Still fun to swing around in the open-world though.

Oct 22, 2014As usual, swinging through New York City as Spider-Man is an exhilarating and empowering proposition, but repetitive open-world events, unfocused/unrefined story missions, and a surplus of technical hindrances/poor design choices keep The Amazing Spider-Man 2 from being a solid movie tie-in.

Official Xbox Magazine UKJun 23, 2014Like the Transformers games, this is one of those shallow, mandated movie tie-ins. [July 2014, p.87]

games(TM)Jun 3, 2014The biggest question you'll be left asking is why the Amazing Spider-man 2 exists. [Issue#148, p.102]
