Jul 20, 2021Streets of Rage 4 was already fantastic, and the Mr.X Nightmare DLC just improves it immensely. New characters Max, Estele and Shiva are great, while the Survival mode offers endless options for replayability as well as new unlocks to use throughout the game. It’s an utterly brilliant DLC all round, now excuse me while I head back to get working on those unlocks…

Aug 18, 2021Mr. X Nightmare is a quality addition to an already quality game. You can feel the care taken to bring in the new characters without wrecking the balance of the game, the fantastic soundtrack, and a great new mode that’s positively addicting and well-made.

Aug 5, 2021Mr. X Nightmare makes an already very nice game an even more extensive and fun whole, thanks to the addition of a fantastic Survival mode and three delicious, new characters. This 10 MB really offers a huge amount of fun for the few bucks it costs.

Jul 27, 2021A new challenge awaits our heroes in Wood Oak City, Return to the Streets of Rage with more moves, more weapons and more characters in the first DLC of Streets of Rage 4. You won’t regret it.

Jul 21, 2021The Mr. X Nightmare expansion reinforces Streets of Rage 4's staple position by correcting rare errors in the original game. It expands the base game's cast with three new heroes (including two dedicated primarily to beginners), adds a Training mode accessible to all and a new mode: Survival. This new proposal with high replayability comes with game mechanics inspired by roguelite, the bosses of the first opus, a brand new musical playlist that fits perfectly to the universe and new environments, even if we can regret a lack of variety on this side. But this is the only big problem with this first DLC. Despite this and to put it simply: Mr. X Nightmare perfectly complements the original work and it will please fans of the genre.
