    It's state of decay 2, an indie game for only 30 dollars. It's much better than the first game, the most of the comments here, are from haters. Stupid people without enough money to buy the two consoles (Ps4 and Xone), and for that reason they are constantly talking trash about the console they don't have.

    Jogo incompleto,totalmente bugado,parece mais uma versão alfa de Pubg Mobile,porem tem uma proposta excelente só faltou um maior investimento e maior tempo de produção.

    Poor mechanics and extreme bugginess turn this great idea into a hellish mess. On both Xbox One and PC I've encountered multiple bugs that were absolutely game-breaking for me at that very moment. These include being stuck in random areas during important fights and cars blowing up because of clipping issues.

    I really enjoyed the original State of Decay, but the only enjoyment I received from this game was talking to Microsoft Support and getting a full refund. When i tried to start the game, the State of Decay 2 logo would show on screen for 1 second and then disappear with nothing else happening. If i'm paying for a full release game title then I expect it to be at least half finished, I've seen early access games with less annoying bugs.     For $30.00 base game it isn't bad. You have to remember how many patches and bug fixes the first one had during launch which is normal. I felt for 30 dollars it was worth it for the game. Yes it has problems as the first one did but after a couple of weeks it will be patched. Customers expect a polished perfect game at $30.00 at launch which is unrealistic.     State of Decay 2 doesn't live up to todays standards for a video game. Very dated graphics with repetitive game play. Glitches make the experience even worse. I'm glad I played a friends first before purchasing it for myself. Not worth the money right now. $20 title at best.

    This is an improvement over the first game in every possible way. The only big new feature is co-op. The random dialog between the survivors is great, really makes your community feel alive.
    There are some bugs and the game loses a point for those, the bugs I've encountered are mostly just funny, some can be annoying but none have been game breaking so far at least.

    This games has been released since 18th May 2018 on early play and I must say I have had nothing but fun especially on multiplayer and the co-op tethering is a bit of a pain and the bugs on occasion can distract from the setting of the game. But these bugs will be fixed over time.

    Game is not as bad as people says, the are overexaggerate the whole thing. Of course there are some bugs, but the game is definetly playable and the whole franchise is not for everyone. People compare this game with God of War which is really really unfair. The hate towards Xbox is getting very stupid now. If you are not sure about getting it, try GamePass. Its cheap.

    Great survival game IMO.

We are playing in a team of four people. We help one of our friends who is host of the map to survive.     After couple of hours this game becomes addictive. You cannot stop - and it is designed in such way. There is no pause.
    How to describe this game? It is difficult, but: tower defense, survival, RPG.
    Pros:
    - Pretty deep RPG elements
    - Coop: map belongs to host, 4 players, loot sharing by dropping at the host base or on the floor, fight together, simultaneous and personalized loot locations and loot itself, facilities sharing, community materials sharing
    - Map exploration: well developed
    - Building and upgrades: well developed
    - Sound design is very good
    - Art and graphics are very good
    Cons:
    - Coop could be developed further - this area was underexplored. I wish that progress could be shared and map, though hosted, could be used even if host is offline. This was never done (or I have not seen decent implementation) before.
    - Coop limited because of the focus to cover solo/single player audience. When playing coop this looks artificial.
    - Bugs
    - Community roster cannot be shared. We could create and join community and then community could be synced to all players and every coop player could be bring something to the community and have almost equal rights. There could a place for drama, like going rogue etc.
    - Controls could be improved.
    When reading reviews you could probably see that solo players will give it lower scores. But even if you do not like this kind of games I encourage to give it a try - potential is here, I would expect coop modes to evolve into dedicated gameplay.    … Expand

    Should have been the ultimate zombie coop game but glitches/bugs/limited content/and not many ways to have fun with others kind of kills it. Perhaps one day after updates and what not it will be close to a 6 or 7 out of 10 but this zombie game is pretty meh... Been there done that : (

    Everything about this game screams old, outdated, and bad. This game is rife with game breaking bugs. Graphics and bugs aside, I'm sucker for good gameplay, sadly, this game doesn't have it. This is like playing a game that is nothing but go fetch side quests that you're issuing to yourself. It's just pure garbage.

    HONEST REVIEW: The game is not bad at all, the gameplay if you like this type of game (no, it's not a zombie killing game but more a management game) is ok, has some (a ton) of bugs like being hard to interact with objects, you can break missions very easily and I had to restart the game twice because I got stuck in a rock... but it's not really bad. Thankfully State of Decay 2 pretty much met my lofty expectations in all areas and despite it suffering with a few problems here and there it’s quite clear to see that this game has significant improvements over the original. The biggest and most enjoyable improvement for me was without a doubt the combat. The combat in the game is excellent and killing zombies never gets boring thanks to the varied and satisfying moves you can perform on the zombies. The gameplay on the whole feels improved as well and in my opinion it remains fun for longer. The main reason why it remains fun for longer is because it has more variety than in the previous game and this variety is definitely evident in both the missions you can undertake and the maps you undertake the missions on. If you like game’s that offer you lots of content then you will love State of Decay 2. I’m not exaggerating when I say that there’s almost an endless amount of replayability present in this game and the best thing is that this content can be enjoyed in both short bursts and long periods as well. When playing the game though you will however bump into a few bugs along the way, and whilst most of these bugs are small and not game-breaking they can still be frustrating and ruin the immersion levels somewhat at times. I was however able to look past these issues quite easily because you end up forgetting about them thanks to the different mechanics and elements the game has. Thankfully these different mechanics hold up really well most of the time and can be enjoyed in both single player and multiplayer. I must admit that I was really looking forward to the game’s multiplayer offering and thankfully when it works it’s really fun. The multiplayer option though does suffer with a few problems and they will have to make some tweaks to make it a better experience, but I appreciate the effort that has gone into the core idea though. Without a doubt one of my favourite things about the game was the presentation side of the things. Visually the game can look awesome at times and the accompanying sound design creates a very eerie atmosphere which in turn makes you become very immersed in the gameplay. At the end of the day if you were a fan of the first State of Decay then you will thoroughly enjoy State of Decay 2. It’s took what was good from the first game and improved it and even though it suffers with quite a few bugs these bugs still didn’t stop me from having a very enjoyable experience and these bugs also don’t stop me from giving the game a big thumbs up.… Expand

    Single player is fine but not worth $60 for the few upgrades you get over the original. Multiplayer is a broken mess and not really balanced that well at all since they put random limitations in it that get even worse then they bug out. This one's definitely a "wait and pay less for a patched/fixed game later" type of game.

To me this is about a $20.00 game in a perfect world. The fact that there is a button committed to getting the player unstuck inside of walls, ladders, rocks, etc says it all. Just like the first one, SoD 2 looks good enough when there aren't any frame rate issues but if you have an Xbox one X this game might make you mad that you bought an X to begin with. For me it didn't play much better than the standard version. All in all though I guess I can't complain too much. At least it wasn't $59.99. All in all SoD 2 is a "between game releases game". The kind of game you play while you wait for another game to release. Truth be told I am more disappointed in Xbox than I am undead labs. Xbox aren't doing themselves any favors releasing exclusives like Sea of Thieves, and SoD 2. Sub-par experiences with superb/expensive hardware. Sad day to be an Xbox fan. I know it sounds like I should be giving this game a 3 or something but really it's just ok. If you loved the first one it's definitely worth your time.… Expand

    Great game for only $30. From the last game the gun controls, searching, and the AI have improved. Game is very fun for the first couple of hours, but then gets a bit boring after roaming around everywhere. The rush this game gives you because the people of your community wanting food and medicine are always putting the player out on a loot hunt. Now the negatives.     I've spent 30+ hours on this game so far and I am baffled at where all this complaining is coming from.. I have had zero glitches, zero bugs and the gameplay is very engaging. I smell a smear campaign because the score here just does not compute with my experience at all :/

    State of Decay 2's single player is a vast improvement when compared to the first. The gun-play and close combat feels better and sounds better with the satisfying sound design. Bugs are a major issue in co-op, but in single player I have encountered few.

    Ive only been playing single player but Im having a blast. The game does have a few issues, but it NAILS the fun factor.

In this game you arent actually a player.... but a group of players.... levelling matching health etc all have to be done with balance, its also fun to choose whether someone lives or dies.
    I had a ton of fun playing this game.... and see it getting better over time.

    Don't believe the hater hype. Can only imagine those guys are jealous PS4 owners, or people reviewing the game who have not played it. This is a solid game. Apart from a few non-gamebreaking bugs, which amuse rather than annoy, everything else about this game makes it a GOTY for me. Game of my life even! Thank you Undead Labs!! Love this game.

A rarity to have such a great developer treat the community with respect (no loot boxes, respectful price point, etc). The driving mechanics are great, the sense of danger intense. Yes, there is a few bugs, but think of theI am loving this game! Only game I’ll play for the rest of my life! Few glitches here and there and could do with a bit more graphical polish, but the game is sound and you are going to spend A LOT of time playing this game.     This game is a tremendous letdown for any Xbox owners starving for exclusives. The game runs and looks GOD AWFUL and the multiplayer “co-op” is nothing more than one person progressing while the others simply help out. It’s garbage. The motion blur makes this game look like a Mr. Krabs “woah” meme.

    O melhor jogo de zumbi ja feito. Last of us não tem a mesma complexidade e sensação de apocalipse que esse jogo possui. Graficos estão otimo, jogabilidade excelente e fluida, bem melhro que tlou por exemplo, mas o que os molequinhos haters do xbox vão falar é a história. É um jogo de video game, quer história vai ler um livro, ver um filme, ou jogar os fmvs que a sony chama de jogo. QueO melhor jogo de zumbi ja feito. Last of us não tem a mesma complexidade e sensação de apocalipse que esse jogo possui.     Long Overview: The best way to describe State of Decay 2 is a diamond not yet polished and ready to be put into that ring, but is still a beautiful diamond nonetheless. The game is made as a sequel to the first game, and if you didn't like the first, you will probably not like this one. The core of the game bases itself on building a community to survive, upgrading your equipment to better defend yourself, loot buildings for supplies, and helping/recruiting/fighting other enclaves of survivors.

    The base building is very similar to the first game. The building is modular with certain spots to build certain facilities. However, there are new improvements. There are now mods you can put on facilities that provide passive or active buffs, from a portable generator powering the facility it is equipped to, to a drill press used to craft certain ammo at a workshop. There is also a new noise meter that increased based on many factors, like the amount of building or people you have, which in turn increases the number of hordes and freak zeds around the vicinity of your bases. This is just one example of how the game has improved from the first with new mechanics. I do have a personal gripe with the tethering for coop. I have had times where my friend wanted to drive to a person to start a mission, and I needed to gear up back at his base, but the base was just outside the tether distance and pulled me back to him. I understand why it is there, as you should be helping the host and stay with them, but there should be an option to have it disabled for friends and have it enabled for other players for example.

    However, there are still issues. From time to time I find zombies stuck and hidden in walls, cars going over bumps as if they have no suspension, and game freezing on rare occasion when opening the map while driving. While playing multiplayer, there can be freeze framing lag that causes you game to slow down and freeze for a few seconds and then catch up. There are also AI issues, I have had a few survivors die because they either walk into or stand and wait for a bloater to go to them and then proceed to sit in the gas until they die, just as an example. The only other issues are minor things you'd expect from a game just released. This is not a triple AAA game with a 500 million dollar budget or anything like that, so disregard a lot of the 0 reviews as many are misinformed or only talk about one negative and just slap the "game is garbage" line in, like seriously read some of the reviews and tell me how they have enough information there to justify the score they provided. A game should only get a zero if it cannot even launch or is a poor asset flip.

    Overall, game is good for those looking for a zombie survival resource micromanage game and is worth the price if you enjoyed the first game.    … Expand

Where steam and UBIsoft I can quickly join my friends. But using the XBOX teredo I find it often disables on my PC and takes an act of Zeus to get it enabled.     1) Bases are simply just a glorified storage locker + craft station. The developer does not understand the desire for players to create an oasis (which they can fortify via their own efforts) while surrounded by deadly zombies. Some highlights:

    - Watch towers does nothing to protect your base, NPCs will not shoot from it, they will climb down from the tower to melee the zombies instead.
    - Walls are mostly for looks - zombies will simply climb over it to chew on you while you are browsing your inventory or managing your base.
    - Upgraded medical facilities are underwhelming as blood plague is a mere nuisance (ingredients too easy to get, too forgiving if you get infected).
    - "Permanent safe area" around base and outposts as stated in game is a joke.

    2) Enclaves (or NPC survivor communities) were supposed to add depth to the game by allowing the players to form beneficial relationships with them (via assistance) or provide conflict if they become hostile to your community. Hint: They don't.

    - NPC groups are there to constantly beg you for help like a bunch of helpless whiny babies. The moment you fail to help them ONCE, they will pack up and leave - even if you previously helped them.
    - You are constantly swamped with MULTIPLE requests from various NPC groups and you won't be able to make it to all of them in time before some of them expire.
    - The NPC groups do not grow / expand or lead to more interesting side stories.
    - The payoff for helping them is minimal at best. (farming influence + the odd recruit)

    3) Story is a snooze-fest. I won't spoil it here but it just involves doing the tutorial quest and then plague hearts over and over for a set number of times + a legacy quest (you get assigned one (out of 4 possible) based on the tenet of your community leader). The game literally ends once you finish the legacy quest. That's it. Really.

    - Many recycled side-quests (e.g. the greatest song lyrics ever! written by random npc A).
    - General busywork gets boring quick. Nobody in your community wants to work, you will always be the guy bringing home the resources, everyone else just sits at base and complains about stuff, or actively sabotage you by destroying resources in your stockpile.
    - Infestations on must be cleared by YOU, all the other survivor groups are just for show.

    4) Bugs aplenty - Stuck in wall? check. Disappearing UI? check. Weird physics **** that have your car doing acrobatics after hitting a guard rail? check. Camera glitching out? Check. Invisible zombies that are still able to chew your face off? Check.

    There are too many bugs to list. And we haven't even started on the multiplayer bugs yet. Suffice to say some of your best moments in this game would be to laugh at the bugs. And if they ask me to rate their game on the start menu one more time....

    5) There are many other issues with this game to list here. Flat characters with boring voiced one liners, most zombies look the same, ladders refusing to register your character most of the time so enjoy falling to your death despite pressing w like the game ask you to etc etc.

    Summary:
    Avoid this steaming pile of dog**** for now. The fanboys are busy burying their head in the sand and screaming praise for this SOD 1.5 crap that took FIVE years to make. Ignore them - it's really telling when the only positive thing most of them can say is "if you like SOD 1 you will love SOD 2". Hahahahaha please.

    Zombie games are a tired concept now, it is unfortunate that Undead Labs screwed this up so badly. We may never get a decent GTA + base building sandbox zombie apocalypse game. Sigh.    … Expand

    10 hours in I was in my last car, my settlement had low morale and I drove to the other side of the map to complete a crucial mission. To get there I took a character from my base and also teamed up with another enclave. Just as I was completing the mission my accompanying base member perished dropping the morale to a further low. The enclave member then perished while we were making a break for a new vehicle ( I ran out of gas). Not to be deterred I hopped in the vehicle, low on energy and injured and headed back to the base in the dark, headlights on. I turned a bend, hit a bloater and the gas killed me. My main character died. Then I respawned at the base taking control of a different member only to find out my second main character had such a low morale that she was leaving. Now only 3 members left, all low ranking, infested and bloaters everywhere. I need to turn this around. I didn't so I restarted the game. Another 10 hours in and I have a bigger base, better characters and avoided a repeat of this scenario by the skin of my teeth. I love this game, fantastic. If you like the first you will love this. A few bugs, but not many on the Xbox X.… Expand

Los bugs que tiene no los veo tan graves,han habido juegos mucho peores pero la prensa sonier casi les besa los pies,pero como es un exclusivo de microsoft,la prensa sonier y los palurdos fans de la empresa ladrona que dicen haberlo jugado les dan una nota absurda e inmerecida!! Muy buen juego y espero que triunfe porque se lo merece :)

    They are calling this a Triple-A title? It's the same as the original State of Decay. You do the same things, over and over. And OMG the Bugs. You are on the most powerful console ever, PS2 graphics? Weird voice acting. I only recommend trying this if you have Gamepass. If you don't have GP save your money. it will $15 in 2 months.

That's maybe a - 1 for me and then it's hella easy surprisingly I was expecting a tougher experience and some sad losses because of the permadeath. The funny thing is the best game on the Xbox one this year is IMO Deep Rock Galactic, and that game seems to have flown under the radar. Save your money, and support a developer who does more than port their old game to a new engine and add multiplayer. Check out Deep Rock if your hungry for a good Xbox game like I was.… Expand

It is better thanks to wider and more varied environments, character progression, better graphics, improved interface. New multiplayer components and strong cooperative help make it stand out from its predecessor

    Blood plague is new and adds sickness to anyone bitten by a red eyed Zombie. Needing medical staff, chemicals, plague samples to craft a cure. But the cure isn't a dime a dozen so its a tough choice when used. If you enjoyed the first State of Decay you will enjoy the second.
    But the co op, the single most asked for thing for a sequel is a broken mess. Normally I wont ding a game for MP being bad this hard but this was THE thing in terms of sales points for SoD2 and its a big FAIL. There is simply no excuse for releasing any game this broken in terms of MP when MP is the selling point over its predecessor. So in my opinion and personal experience 20 hours in, the game in SP is fine. But the co op that my buddies and I couldn't wait for is a slap in the face to fans.    … Expand

    This game is not a 10 but doesn't deserve the scores it's been getting. From what I remember, the original game had tons of bugs but that's sort of what made it fun. What I'm saying is if you liked the first game, you should definitely buy this one. If you never played the first, buy that first to see if you like it. This is basically more of the same which is fine by me.

    State of Decay 2 would have been close to a good/average game in 2005, but in 2018 the standards are higher.

    Graphically is bland and outdated, animations are a joke like zombie AI, not mentioning bugs. The game can be sumarised on surviving and looting houses and zombies and improving the base and its survivors.     Para empezar, lo estoy jugando en PC y si anda medio para el tuje, cabe destacar igual que lo juego en 4K con una GTX 1070 (Gráficos en medio-alto)
    El juego mejora aspectos del primero (La construcción de la base, los coches ahora nafta, el sistema de rangos en la comunidad, enemigos humanos y otras pequeñas cosas) Pero a pesar de todo eso, el mundo se siente vació y las misiones    Para empezar, lo estoy jugando en PC y si anda medio para el tuje, cabe destacar igual que lo juego en 4K con una GTX 1070 (Gráficos en medio-alto)
    El juego mejora aspectos del primero (La construcción de la base, los coches ahora nafta, el sistema de rangos en la comunidad, enemigos humanos y otras pequeñas cosas) Pero a pesar de todo eso, el mundo se siente vació y las misiones secundarias son iguales que las del primero, eso es la gran contra del State of Decay 2, ahora el juego se trata de lootear todo el mapa y moverse al otro mapa. La misiones principales son casi inexistente, son tutoriales, casi. Y los bugs pueden costarte la vida, como salir volando porque te quedaste atorado o que tu compañero salga volando.
    En conclusión el juego parece una beta mas que un fullgame, espero que solucionen los bugs y le agreguen mas vida al mundo con futuras actualizaciones.

    Por ahora le doy un 7/10 siendo COMPASIVO, esta bueno pero es una decepción.

    The game takes allot of time to get going, but once it does it hooks you to it. There are somethings removed from the previous game that were really great like calling out your members to loot the house you are currently in or call for back up, this is mostly removed in favor of online co op which should not have happened. There are somethings removed from the previous game that were really great like calling out your members to loot the house you are currently in or call for back up, this is mostly removed in favor of online co op which should not have happened. The missions themselves are bad at first but after a while they get good, after picking a leader, the quests become dynamic based on what kind of leader you have but that takes allot of time to happen, by then people are already greeted to the repetitive grinding of food and supplies which might put most people off. lack of fast travel means means that you won't be able do all the quests that people in the world need and that will make them get angry at you and that leads to troubles down the road. Vehicles make moving within the map easier, limit of gas makes driving challenging, the vehicle controls are great but the physics of the car themselves are bad and lead to funny and annoying bugs.
    To some this up, here is one of the cool experiences I have had in the game:
    10 days in, my community was running out of food, so I went out with my favorite character on a scavenge hunt for food. on my way I got to a hostile community which started a fight between us, I won the fight but it cost me all my meds and my gun as it was now jammed, I picked their weapons which was a revolver with 7 rounds and a melee weapon which was like a machete. I wasn't finding any food so I radioed in to one of the friendly neighbors and they found me some food at a far town. I picked up a car and went there with half gas, by the time I reached the town it was midnight so my character was sleepy so my stamina was lower than normal and I ran out of gas in the middle of the street, zombies were coming at me cause the car sound attracted them, so I ran, running attracted even more zombies so I tried to fight them off witch the 7 rounds I had left, that was stupid cause the sound of the shots fired attracted EVEN MORE zombies! I started running again and I reached a ladder, I climbed up only to survive as my health was really low and I had 30% max stamina. I looked down and I was surrounded with a horde of around 30 zombies, with nothing left to do I shot a flare at the sky and waited for an online player to come find and help me and they did! With the help of the player I survived that and went out to get the food for my community. I felt like I was playing in an episode of the Walking Dead! :D
    Things like these are what drive me back in the game, and now I'm addicted to it. I hope the devs fix the shortcomings like the lack of being able to call for looters to my place cause the core game here is fun.    … Expand

    Absolutely awful. I hated the previous game due to the lack of story, the tedious missions and how repetitive it was. This is more of the same, but it feels worse and it is a snoozefest.
    Glad i've only paid cents for this. This is garbage.

    game is good, but lacks graphics that does not go with xbox hardware, bugs, lots of bugs. Despite all the problems the game is fun. note 6, nothing more besides that.

    Um dos melhores jogos de sobrevivência em um apólice zumbi, o jogo e muito viciante ainda mais se vc jogar em coop com amigos. Tem algum bugs mas podem ser corrigido no lançamento dia 22

    The game itself is repetitive, have poor combat mechanics, bad animations, graphics looks outdated, little to no story elements, coop is poorly implemented and the base game is not even close to be worth 30$ which they are charging it for (and defiantly not 50$ for the deluxe)
    Do not buy, it is a waste of money.

    My god I thought Sea of Thieves Wes bad due to lack of content but this takes the cake.

    The missions while having a bit more variety that SOT are still lacking in variation. Not to mention their randomized goals would often send me to locations I’ve already cleared.     But of course the biggest problem are the bugs. It’s very clear this game was rushed out the door considering the advertised beta never happened. I lost my best character due to being catapulted in the air and dying from fall damage.
    What makes the bugs hurt worse is that you can’t reload from a previous save. Absolutely Unacceptable

    I’m fine with permadeath but only if the game ran properly. If I lose progress due to glitches, it’s a bad game plain and simple.    … Expand

    A brilliant game nothing more to say. Sensual but very eficases mechanics, resource management, extreme tension assured and great design of enemies. If you like zombies, gore, sandboxes, action games, horror, and survival horror, you can play quietly. Now if you are looking for dying ligth or dead rising, this game is not for you. Jugalo will love you.

There are bugs, the graphics are not in line with God of War, Tomb Raider, Halo or any of the other games I have heard people compare it to. Don't compare a Ferrari to a Honda Accord. The bottom line is did I have fun? Yes I did and that is what my rating is based off of.

    Please take a look at the other reviews that are giving zero for the score and observe that almost all of the zero scores are coming from people who have reviewed nothing but PS4 games. If you are on the fence and love these type of games and want to try before you buy, give Game Pass a shot, if you find its not your cup of tea then you are only out $10.    … Expand

    Excellent improvement from the first game (which I love dearly). The graphics, lighting and mechanics have greatly improved, despite what some appear to be saying. Some bugs as expected (the first was buggy) nonetheless it does not spoil the game for me. Poor reviews surprised me but I didn't expect it to appeal to everyone.     Xbox 360 Graphics in retro is better than this crap.
    The game crashed in a short time.
    Poor content if you compare with the SOD1.
    Only added one new Zombi, disease, cooperative and 4K support.

    Que o jogo tem os seus problemas, ok. Agora eu não vejo motivo parar vir aqui e dar uma pontuação zero. A cada dia que passa é mais complicado. As avaliação de um jogo começa a ficar banal. O que tiro disto tudo é, ok vou comprar e jogar.
    Minhas primeiras impressões são muito boa, estou gostando, era o que o jogo propôs, e tem lá os seus bugs. Seria melhor em alguns momentos não te-los    Que o jogo tem os seus problemas, ok.     If you played the first one, I can't imagine how you don't like this one. It's that same "repetitive" game-play that made the first game successful, but they just added so much more.
    I am playing on a decent PC and haven't had problems with the bugs everyone is emotional about.

    Innovations in State of Decay 2 don´t solve any problems, but rather add some more. The game unnecessarily forces on its multiplayer and feels very impersonal. [Issue#287]

    State of Decay 2 is going to be very hit and miss for a number of people. If you can ignore the flaws, there is a fun game to be had when played with a friend. That said, even if you ignore its flaws, you can’t deny that this game was not ready for release.

    Generally State of Decay 2 looks more like a remaster of the original game than a true sequel. It just does not expand the formula enough and still contains too many repetitive activities that make you go through the motions for the sake of getting it done. That’s why I recommend playing it in short sessions. I have no doubt that people unfamiliar with the first State of Decay will enjoy the second one much more, as everything will be new to them.
