Dec 1, 2015This game had so much potential. It's a classic case of EA syndrome. The game has amazing sound design, and looks beautiful. That being said the game is lacking, there are only two good game modes, not enough maps, and no where near enough guns. It did not live up to the originals at all.

Nov 18, 2015Beautiful looking game that has it's fun moments, but the fun dies quickly. I can't believe people are willing to pay $60 for this game, that's basically a multiplayer only game with limited options. If you're not huge into star wars this game is not the game for you. It is fun to try everything for the first time, but it gets old fast.

Nov 23, 2015The instantaneous feel of being "in the movies" quickly fades into the gray notion of "playing around on the set", with badly choreographed, single-move swordfights. And Palpatine sucks as a playable character. And Leia sucks as a playable character. And there's no depth... and, and, and. Save your money. This will soon go down in price.

Dec 14, 2015No content, the maps are nice and big but you have to be a pro at online games to be able to play with anyone. It would also be nice if they put the airships on the actual map rather than power ups on the field. I sure hope the movie isn't as bad as this.

Apr 10, 2023Was very disappointed about this game one solo map no campaign at all I am very angry this had only online only battles and nothing else I was expecting a story mode but no I got a crappy dumb online battles against other players boo the only thing that is awesome is the movie scenes and the look of the vehicles and the world also the sound FX is perfect just like I remember

Sep 18, 2017Genuinely one of the worst, most boring and feeble games I've ever played. Thank God I got it on EA Access. No campaign. Simple and boring customisation. UI problems everywhere. Can't understand any of the menus. Bad gameplay. Bad sound. Awful flight mechanics. Boring maps with not enough cover. Terrible character movement. Not actually great graphics. I could go on. But it's boring me.

Nov 17, 2015Good graphics, hardly any content. This is the point I try to prove repeatedly when it comes to graphics, they should be secondary to the content and gameplay. Which is why fallout 4 isn't the best looking game, yet manages to keep you playing for days.

Nov 17, 2015Haven't yet played the game but the Beta. By the looks of it, the game is basically the beta. With too little game modes, terrible gameplay, and a lack for understanding what Battlefront is. It's just a cash grabbing game that I hope fails. Can we get someone who knows star wars to make a star wars game? Please!?

Jan 8, 2016The issue is that this game plays it safe and doesn't offer anything new in its core shooting gameplay. It ignores progress made in the genre and that's most upsetting. Casual players will have a blast but it really isn't for the rest of us in my opinion.

LEVEL (Czech Republic)Jan 4, 2016Multiplayer shooter designed primarily for Star Wars fans. Simpler than its genre competitors it is, but it’s open to players of all kinds - at the same time it is not for everyone because of that “anyone can play” approach. [Issue #259]

Official Xbox Magazine UKJan 3, 2016As close as you'll get to getting your childhood back. Dig through the incredible production values and you'll find a serviceable shooter, but one with a potentially terminal lack of content. [Jan 2016, p.73]
