    Great game, they really poured their souls into this one. Only could use more aliens, maps, heroes, conquest mode, etc, the type of game you wish still had live-service updates

    I don't get it! why are people complaining so much about this game? it's awesome! i've had it for 3 years and still love it! the only thing it needs is a campaign mode. that is the only thing keeping it from reaching true mastery!

    This game has problems for sure but what is gets right blows its wrongs out to the water. The graphics, mechanics, maps, and weapons are all nothing but amazing. The multiplayer aspect, which is the only aspect, easily has become one of my favorite multiplayer games to play. The price for what you get though is far to high and the game would have flourished with a campaign as smooth as theThis game has problems for sure but what is gets right blows its wrongs out to the water.     A great game. It has a good amount/variety of maps, weapons, and skins. I'm still not that happy about it considering that there's no campaign. But otherwise a good game with good content.

    Battlefront is one of my favorite video games. Although I was kind of mad at EA for making the dlc maps unavailable to people who can't afford Xbox gold every month of the year, this game had stunning graphics, sound effects ,heroes and more. Although I was mad that there was no single player campaign in battlefront at least EA is doing a single player campaign for battlefront 2.

    This Star Wars Battlefront game is amazing lots of people say its a money grab.Its not. It has a tonne of maps a tonne of gamemodes and a single player training and the graphics are outstanding- and the sounds too.

    For fans of Star Wars, this is a must play. Stunning graphics, gorgeous smoothness during gameplay and simply the nostalgia makes it a must have. The DLC's are a must have to truly enjoy the full game.

    Even though battlefront has no campaign, the game still has amazing multiplayer that manages to be really fun. The graphics are absolutely stunning to look at, and the sound design would be perfect is it wasn't for the bad voice acting. The gameplay is just right for this game, and the maps are pretty good. Overall, I still have a fun time playing this game.

    Best movie licence game of all time! Incredible visuals, fantastic gameplay with ever expanding options and modes and the utmost attention to detail make this one of the highest replay games I've ever owned.

Compared to previous entries, it gives us a new perspective of the Galactic Civil War, giving us heroes and villains never seen in the BattlefrontAmazing. Just amazing. The Star Wars Battlefront Saga never felt so rich and complex ever before. The game, beyond it's astounding graphics an environments, can take you to a galaxy far, far away, and take you back when you turn of your console. Compared to previous entries, it gives us a new perspective of the Galactic Civil War, giving us heroes and villains never seen in the Battlefront Franchise since the X-Box ages. The gameplay, multiplayer, and sense of gaming makes it a must play game. All of its features are made only for players to have a good time, a truly Star Wars experience. We know this already, but the only thing that makes this amazing game a great disaster its the lack of content for free, and the fragmentation of its existence, forcing you to become a money master in order to get all of the maps and content. But unlike any other game before, Battlefront makes this sacrifice to make itself more player friendly, uploading only what fans and gamers want, away of Lucasarts personal interests.     Fun game, easy to pick up and jump into a match. Easily the best looking Star Wars game ever, as well as one of the best looking games ever. I'm taking 2 points off for lack of single player content and lack of multiplayer content in general. I've put in about 120 hours so far and still having fun with my friends.

    Simply incredible. With surround sound its like being in the movies. With the updated content single player has lots more to offer. Walker assault maps are amazing.

    This game is really fun with awesome graphics. It have cool sounds, Lots of modes and it's pretty easy to play with friends. The only bad thing is that it has a bit lack of content. I also has a season pass with four expansion and the first expansion is great! I really like this game

    I think people hate on Battlefront a little to much. Sure it relies a lot on DLC sadly but if you can look past that it is a great game. I know people are going to say "But its not as good as the first Battlefronts." OK that may be true but under the DLC and the past games legacy, this game is still very fun. Yes it doesn't have a story but I don't think it needs it. The training mode,I think people hate on Battlefront a little to much.     I belive this game dossnt get enogh credit for how it is. It is one of my most favorite games now and an amazing new future of games could be branched off of this one. The older battlefronts where amazing at there time and this is too. I love this game and can't wait to get home to play it again. :)

    I do not know why this game is so hated! It truly brings to life my childhood fantasies of being inside Star Wars. Easy, comftorable controls, stunning graphics, natural like animations, sound that seems like living the classic trilogy, amazing gameplay, tons of multiplayer gamemodes and maps, all add up to a great experience. While there a few minor bugs, the gameplay makes up for it all.I do not know why this game is so hated! It truly brings to life my childhood fantasies of being inside Star Wars. Easy, comftorable controls, stunning graphics, natural like animations, sound that seems like living the classic trilogy, amazing gameplay, tons of multiplayer gamemodes and maps, all add up to a great experience. I would also like to see a few more planets (although they are adding the Death Star in summer), and a few more heroes would make this one of the most amazing shooter experiences.     After some time with the game I find it to be the perfect Star Wars experience as well as the best 3rd person shooter to date. It's a 10 now, with DLC and additional support for a year, it will be an 11 soon!

    I enjoyed this very much but I wish the DLC wasn't as expensive and if there were way more maps and a Death Star map otherwise this would be a higher score.

The best thing I can say about it is how faithfully it re-creates the famed battles from the original "Star Wars" trilogy. The game's presentation captures both the look and feel of the classic movies with its stunning graphics,"Star Wars: Battlefront", DICE's revival of Pandemic's online shooter, is similar to their own "Battlefield" franchise in terms of both structure and gameplay. The best thing I can say about it is how faithfully it re-creates the famed battles from the original "Star Wars" trilogy. The game's presentation captures both the look and feel of the classic movies with its stunning graphics, iconic sound effects and John Williams' legendary score. While "Battlefront" does not contain a campaign, it does include numerous maps and modes that can be enjoyed both online and off. However, compared to the "Battlefield" games, it is lacking in depth. There are numerous weapons, gadgets and abilities to unlock, but nowhere as much as you'd find in any other comparable shooter. However, if you're a fan of both "Battlefield" and "Star Wars", you'll certainly enjoy "Battlefront".

    The game includes 14 maps, 10 multiplayer modes, 5 tutorial missions and two single player modes which can be played with a partner. But it must be said that not all are on equal footing when it comes to enjoyment. "Supremacy" and "Walker Assault" are 40 player matches and are the best modes the game has to offer. Aerial combat can be found in "Flight Squadron" and melee combat is exclusive to the two "Hero" modes which feature three heroes from the good side and bad. "Droid Run" and "Conquest" has you protecting an area of the map from the opposing team. And "Battles" is basically "Kill Confirmed" from "Call of Duty" (you must pick up icons left by dead adversaries to score). Lastly, "Survival" is a horde mode where you must survive 15 rounds of Imperial attacks. Additionally, the game includes mini-challenges that unlock artwork when completed and you can also purchase various skins as you earn currency.

    DICE has made the announcement that free maps and modes will appear throughout the year, so even if you haven't bought the Season Pass, there are some add-ons to look forward to. In the end, "Star Wars: Battlefront" is a good addition to the "Star Wars" universe. It celebrates the original trilogy very much like "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and is more enjoyable than the uneven "Force Unleashed" games. So if you're a fan of DICE, "Star Wars" and FPS game in general, then you'll certainly enjoy it. 7.8 out of 10    … Expand

    Gamers seem to have really become a winey entitled bunch of brats. There is so much to do in this game and so many fun game modes to play I don't really understand how one can complain. The visuals are outstanding, the sound is incredible and overall the game is FUN, I mean really fun to play. You actually feel like you are a part of the Star Wars universe.     Love it! Awesome Visuals and fantastic gameplay. If you love Star Wars and like FPS' then you will love this. The lack of depth is not a problem for me, I can and will be ploughing hours into this! :-)

    I'm giving it an 8 because it's a Star Wars Universe. The single player should have offered more. Mutliplayer is ok but it's like the wild wild west.

    It's ok the graphics area some of the best I've seen how ever it's clearly lacking in the game play department I miss the instant play from battlefront 2 and splitscreen and the fact you have to spend 50$ for season pass on top of the 70$ you buy it

    This game is shallow, yes, but there is so much fun to be had playing online, with more content to be added soon that will increase the fun. This game isn't worth full price, but at a discounted price I would tell you to pick it up

    The issue is that this game plays it safe and doesn't offer anything new in its core shooting gameplay. It ignores progress made in the genre and that's most upsetting. Casual players will have a blast but it really isn't for the rest of us in my opinion.

    Multiplayer shooter designed primarily for Star Wars fans. Simpler than its genre competitors it is, but it’s open to players of all kinds - at the same time it is not for everyone because of that “anyone can play” approach. [Issue #259]
