May 10, 2017A solid open world tactical shooter, with good mission variety and depth. It disappoints in the technical and story departments, though; it partially feels like a missed opportunity, but definitely a step in the right direction for the series.

Apr 24, 2017Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is the best entry in the series yet... but again, it's not good enough. The open world feels great after the last (awful) campaign, and it has more content on offer than ever, but it forgets its roots and turns into a Far Cry wannabe. Also, it has graphical issues, repeats the same things all along and turns boring. We'll miss multiplayer.

May 8, 2017Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a game of two halves. If you can look past the glitches, there’s a good game fighting to get out, and one with a lot to offer. This is a big game, and with the free roam map and variety of approaches that can be taken, one that offers a lot to the player. However, glitches that require a mission to be restarted, or for you to fast travel out of the area to get out of them, are not really on in this day and age. It is due to these that I have had to really think about my final score – do I score on potential or actual experience? In the end – as usual – I’ve had to put my actual experiences ahead. If CI Games manage to patch out the glitches, this game will easily get a half or full point more. But without it, it can be classed as nothing but average.

May 2, 2017Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has the benefits from an open world with an entertaining gameplay that allows us to have more freedom on making decisions compared to previous releases of the saga, but its technical section is poor with many bugs, long loading times, a poor optimization and the absence of multiplayer section that affect the experience.
-
Apr 28, 2017Despite being a more ambitious project than its predecessors, Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 is a product that verges on mediocrity. Both its open world and its concept of freedom that allows us to face the game’s missions blurs due to poor technical performance and an implausible script.
-
Apr 27, 2017Long load screens and a very cookie cutter narrative hold SGW3 back from greatness, but there’s no denying that this installment in the shooter franchise has brought the series forward quite a few steps.
-
Apr 27, 2017The game might be fun at times. But it is mostly unpolished and weak in content. As such, it is best to just avoid it.

Apr 24, 2017Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is a broken experience on Xbox One. If the multitude of bugs and horrendous frame rate were fixed, the game would be quite enjoyable as a lower-budget Far Cry 4. As it stands, however, the games needs excessive patching before it becomes a viable experience to charge $60 for. CI Games need to release a patch as soon as possible on Xbox One.

-
Apr 24, 2017Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 has a decent foundation for a good game, but its many technical issues bring the experience down significantly.
-
May 8, 2017There are a lot of cool ideas here; the crafting system for example is robust and interesting, but it doesn’t make up for all the issues the game has. Tie that in with the complete lack of originality and Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 feels like a half-baked attempt at the genre. It could have been great; it SHOULD have been interesting, but in the end it just ends up frustrating and disappointing. There are much better games in this genre, and there is little reason to invest in this sniper’s mission.
-
May 7, 2017Sniper: Ghost Warrior 3 is misguided by the unending trend of games going open-world. The idea may have been born with good intentions, but blatantly copying all of another series' structure is a bad look, undone much further by the fact that it does all of those same things very poorly. It's unclear for whom this game was made as it feels more like a middling title we rarely see anymore, possessing neither the polish of AAA nor the admirable quirks of an indie. It's a narrative bore, a technical dilemma, and a structural collapse. If fun was ever in the crosshairs, the subsequent shot is way off target.
