Rogue Company is a MMO team-based Third Person Shooter developed by First Watch Games and published by Hi-Rez Studios (Smite and Paladins, among others). Technically it's a satisfying achievement that works at perfect 60fps on every console (including Switch) and with almost zero loading screens that invites the player to engage combat on 4Vs.4, crazy and enjoyable quick matches with unique and well-made characters, weapons and abilities. Great maps designs, tons of new ideas on the upcoming months and all packed in a Free to Play game that wants to be part of the big leagues. Truly a great example of how all competitive games should be in the next years to come.

For a free-to-play title, Rogue Company on Xbox One is worth every penny. As you'd expect, there are various options for buying cosmetic items, but as these have no effect on gameplay I'm okay with the opportunity if others want to spend real money to make their Rogue look a bit different. Rogue Company is certainly better if you can get a good squad around you, as playing with randoms is a bit like banging your head against a brick wall, but a team that talks is a team that wins.

No amount of buzzer-beater moments are going to keep the masses distracted in a market full of free to play games that just offer more to do.

Rogue Company : Sometimes it happens to everyone you start a game and from the first cinematic you start thinking - Oh it looks like X gameRogue Company : Sometimes it happens to everyone you start a game and from the first cinematic you start thinking - Oh it looks like X game ohhh this feature must be stolen from XX game ohh this almost same with the XXX game. This is what I felt when I first began playing. When the training mode started I thought it was a battleroyale game since you jumping out from an aircraft, however it actually isn't so I anticipated it's an FPS game in the style of Apex Legends mechanics and I almost got what I expected. I always like the ideas of Hi-Rez Studios I always like their games but they never seemed to exceed my expectations. Like they released Paladins it's an amazing game but there's Overwatch in the market better graphics, less cheating, and better gameplay and of course the story line (this is what Blizzard best at). Now people comparing this game with Valorant and CS:GO they say it's a worthy opponent for these two titles. In my opinion it's impossible first of all you don't want to play a shooter game like CS:GO with Valorant mechanics I n third person view it's feels like you’re playing CS:GO with Valorant mechanics with less weapon options and each rogue has their own weapons so you can't buy anything else other than those but just like valorant you can buy skills for each round. The game is still in the early stage and I'm really hopeful about it yet they have a long way to go with it’s current state. Full Review »
