    Rogue Company wears its influences on its sleeves. Like other Hi-Rez studio releases, I have no doubt it will take off and become a popular staple among multiplayer aficionados — even with generic-looking characters and gameplay that borrows from others in the genre, I can’t pull myself away from it. It may be derivative, but it’s also an addiction, and I that in itself is an impressive feat.

    Rogue Company is a solid, if uninspired, competitive shooter. What Rogue Company lacks in originality, it makes up for with solid gameplay, cross-progression, and cross-play across all major consoles, including Nintendo Switch, on top of being free to play. That is an offer that is very hard to refuse. [Early Access score = 78]

    It's been years since I've had this much fun playing a third person multiplayer shooter. Rogue Company is an easy free addiction, and there's no reason why any avid multiplayer fan should take a pass on it . I do wish most of the characters weren't locked behind monetization, but aside from that it's a fantastic competitive game with sweet roguelike in-game cash to unlock more guns, upgrades, gadgets and abilities that help your chances of success in each subsequent round.… Expand
