YOU DID NOT GIVE THE PLAYER THE OPTION TO TURN THE DAMN CONTROLLER VIBRATION OFF!!!! After all the disappointment registered over the last two years about not being able to 'choose' to turn off the vibration, or 'buzz', on these Xbox1 controllers, and after two years of 'updates' with still no option to turn this useless, annoying, failed novelty experiment off, you guys at Capcom, in your infinite wisdom decide to continue to wrest the control from the players, which is one of the major criticisms about the in-game gameplay the first time around with all the in game quick time button pressing events and hold-your-hand tutorials! Do any of you people listen to what is going on out here? I felt when this game first arrived that the developers had become a kind of closed-off intellectually incestuous group of people. Microsoft certainly showed this tendency when they released Xbox1 originally for example. People flat out said, "NO!!, this is unacceptable!", to Microsoft, your product is self-absorbed in it's concept and functionality and we are not going to buy it as it is! It had an impact when they foresaw dismal sales and consumer rejection. And yet they continue to make hurtful decisions. I made the mistake of buying the digital version, so they have my money already. Short-sided and eager me. I'll wait next time and explore more thoroughly the next games features before buying. But I refuse to play a game that doesn't give the option to turn off the vibration feature. And this includes Diablo 3 sadly. There is not an option to end the rumbling in that game as well. And I am about done with Microsoft. If they do not give the option to choose to turn the 'buzz' off soon, there will be a parting. And that includes any game makers that don't provide the player with as many in-game options that are possible. These software guys are certainly capable of creating the option to give players the ability to turn it on/off, short-circuiting Microsoft's continuing lack of vision and penchant for short-shrifting and abusing its customer base. I have always liked the core experience of the Resident Evil franchise, the stories, the 'lore', but not always the methods of delivery and/or game-play. Expand

Uno de los mejores juegos de ACCION de la pasada generacion. Pero no un Resident Evil. Incluye unos cuantos de los mejores personajes de la serie pero no por eso habia que alejarse tanto de los origenes.
Ojala que con el 7 hagan algo

Resident Evil 6 is both an entertaining game and a disappointing one. It is the biggest installment in the series and the most polarizing. This was easily Capcom's most hated sequel alongside Devil May Cry 2. The initial consensus was that RE had abandoned its horror roots and was now an action shooter and a bad one at that. The company would go on to slightly improve it with updates, butResident Evil 6 is both an entertaining game and a disappointing one. It is the biggest installment in the series and the most polarizing. This was easily Capcom's most hated sequel alongside Devil May Cry 2. The initial consensus was that RE had abandoned its horror roots and was now an action shooter and a bad one at that. The company would go on to slightly improve it with updates, but this is still a very divisive entry to this day. Featuring four campaigns and five difficulty levels, it's a 25+ hour experience with plenty of nosedives throughout the adventure. In an apparent decision to stay relevant, the game's designers borrowed ideas from many other popular action titles. As a result, the game suffers from the "everything but the kitchen sink" approach.

Action fans will see the influences of "Gears of War", "Metal Gear Solid", "Uncharted" and even "Battlefield". There are plenty of sections that are a slog to play through. However, the game was made for cooperative play which makes the ride slightly more fun than going solo. The best campaign easily belongs to Leon, followed by Ada's. Chris Redfield's levels are a mix of good and bad, while Jake Muller's chapters can be rather bland. As stated before, Capcom wanted RE6 to be everything to everybody and it ends up just being a hot mess. Yet, I do love how every campaign intersects at one point and the story is somewhat entertaining.

Graphically, "Resident Evil 6" looks great on the Xbox One. This is the best looking title of the three HD re-releases. It also includes every multiplayer mode, mercenaries map and alternative costume ever made. Considering the base game was already packed to the gills with content, this version is a steal at only $20. And while RE6 is constantly ranked at the bottom of Resident Evil lists, it does provide a decent amount of fun. If you've never played it before, then this Xbox One port is the edition you'd want to get. I'd rank it with a 7.2 out of 10.

With barely any survival horror elements, and a heavy focus on action, "Resident Evil 6" is an installment that forgets what made the franchise great to begin with. However, its intriguing plot and interwoven campaigns lean in its favor.

    Recomendado.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. In 2012, I forgave most of Resident Evil 6‘s failings, and I’m ashamed at my behaviour in doing so. I couldn’t, in good conscience, do that any longer. It’s an already dated game, worse now due to its chaos than ever before.

If you are hell bent on grabbing RE6, wait for a price drop. $20 is even too steep in my opinion.

I don't think that there is really any new content here for fans who played the game comprehensively the first time around, so it is those returning players who should consider their purchase most carefully.
