    Awesome game I like it was a awesome journey through the world of quantum break the graphics are way ahead of its time and still holds up today in 2023 north light engine combined with facefx technology big up remedy and Microsoft I would love to see a sequel but only after its back under remedys label as Microsoft hasn't done nothing or planning to do anything with quantum break since years ago

    Un jeu - série TV avec de vrais acteurs du petit écran et un scénario télégénique qui livre une expérience singulière à la technique une fois de plus impeccable. Sa qualité en a fait son talon d’ Achille en oubliant les ingrédients d’un jeu vidéo et un challenge ludique quasi absent.

Fans of Detroit: Too Human and L.A. Noire might enjoy it. The game looks fantastic, although there is stuttering and screen tear on occasion. Some might be disappointed with the lack of action.     The story and gameplay were perfect The only thing that made me give a score of 8 is the lack of impact of decisions on the story line and the drop in frame rate

    Once upon a time there was a perfect exclusive that hasn't been continued to this day, why? Unknown, we'll never know why they didn't invest in this game. Hard ein Microsoft

    Very fun at first, with some unique mechanics, but it just plays poorly. Needs a current-gen update on XBOX very badly.

I read all the documents I collect after finishing every part, and that really add some details into the characters and made me understand the game better. The only bummer I would say is the final boss fight is not designed well at least from my point of view.… Expand

    Nice swing and a miss. I had highlighted hopes for this game back in the day but those hopes fell flat when I started playing the movie that is Quantum Break. The cinematic in this game take up most of the time- if u choose to watch them. This game couldn't accomplish what Control managed to! While QB isn't terrible, u would be better off playing Control instead.

    This game has better narrative than a lot of games out there. This game was slashed by the media just for been an exclusive. I finished it and it is beautiful. Story is amazing. I'd remove the TV show part tbh but at least it can be skipped.

    Remedy knows exactly how to create a new game with a fun gameplay and a top-notch story.
    Also, Quantum Break has innovations in fields that are rarely found in other games, although it should be noted that the game suffers from a low variety of weapons and almost weak artificial intelligence of enemies, but its positive points can cover them.

    Ce jeu est vraiment très intéressant, il mélange d’espace de vidéos, des phases d’action, le tout est très bien doublé en français. L’histoire est intéressante. Une très belle réalisation à tester absolument.

    A fantastic stpry, but an average game. Plenty of times throughout playing this I was only looking forward to the show segments or cutscenes and got weary quickly of the annoying gameplay mechanics. I actually enjoyed reading the memos and emails more than the majority of the gameplay. It was really well put together, with writing, acting and sound, but it's just a shame the gameplay wasA fantastic stpry, but an average game.     Loved the storytelling mechanics, the way the science is explained, time travel, it's a mind-blowing sci-fi shooter but heavily grounded on a solid universe. The unique blend of TV show episodes and real-life actors gives you a different perspective of characters and events, as they convey emotions in a way that a cinematic CGI video could never do. They used advanced MOCAP techniques that show detailed expressions of characters as they talk or react to the world around them. There are a lot of games that do the same, but MOCAP here feels unique somehow.

    I understand why everybody complains about its length. But I feel it's soothing for Quantum Break, making the game longer would impact the player's experience, as the gameplay already becomes repetitive at the end. Even so, I completed it several times to experience the different scenarios that are created as you make choices with Paul that affect the world.

    I think the whole concept is amazing, Quantum Break is an exciting time travel experience with impressive graphics, fun gameplay mechanics, and it has a world that I find myself coming back to experience now and then. I'm a Max Payne & Alan Wake fan, so this game was a proper successor for Remedy. Many said that The amount of reading and listening can be overwhelming, but that's the beauty of it, you can go through the game and complete it without reading an email. But for gamers like me, they left a TON of breadcrumbs for me to follow and lots of pieces for the puzzle were scattered around the game. I loved putting everything together and understanding more and more about Monarch, the characters, time travel, etc.    … Expand

    First of all, the graphics in this game are impressive. I have never seen anything like that in a game before. The textures, the locations, facial expressions of the character are all truly amazing. Moreover, I really enjoyed the storyline. It's very interesting, engaging and dives into fascinating divagations about time travel.

Серию Alan Wake я как-то совсем пропустил и не уверен, что стоит к ней возвращаться даже с учетом новоиспеченного ремастера. А вот Quantum Break, вышедший в 2016 году и ставший при этом эксклюзивом Xbox, при достаточно хороших отзывах пропускать совершенно не хотелось. Итак, Quantum Break это опять-таки научно-фантастический шутер от третьего лица, но в отличие от Control коридорного типа. Честно говоря, первые пару часов игры оставили неоднозначное впечатление. Вот казалось бы уже почти 6 лет прошло с момента выхода Quantum Break, а персонажи и некоторые текстурки до сих пор периодически слегка шлейфуют, нечасто и возможно не слишком очевидно, но всё же. В Control нечто подобное тоже припоминаю. Может это конечно фирменный стиль финнов? Более того изредка фризуют кинематогрофические сцены, в игре вроде бы ничего подобного к счастью замечено не было — всё летает без лагов. Эхххх, и вот это вот всё мелкое «безобразие» на флагманской Xbox Series Х?!?! Непорядок! Возможно конечно где-то оптимизацию не подтянули, так как всё же игра идет по обратной совмести от Xbox One. Ладно, это не сильно критично, но в глаза конечно бросилось и в случае с торможением картинки немного настроение-то подпортило. Касательно этих самых кинороликов, как раз с ними-то у нас и сложились первые сомнения по поводу уместности оных, ибо не много ни мало, но каждый из них после окончания игровой главы длится по минут 20. Первая катсцена пошла тяжеловато со смешанными чувствами, но в любом случае сразу для себя отметили достойное качество этих короткометражек и хорошую игру актеров. С каждым последующим мини-фильмом становилось всё интереснее, персонажи западали в душу и уже практически после второго киноролика стало очевидно, что сие новаторство работает и вызывает неподдельный интерес, тем более, что перед каждой катсценой мы, играя за главного антагониста выбираем один из двух путей. И в зависимости от нашего выбора мы смотрим соответствующий ролик. Даже немного жаль, что мы увидели по сути только половину материала, но главное, что слепили фильм мы сами. Геймплейно игра тоже постаралась выделиться из себеподобных и прежде всего за счет набора сверхспособностей нашего протагониста Джека Джойса.… Expand

A story driven narrative that tries to have action for its game play NEEDS to balance the story and action. This game falls flat of any semblance of that balance. I've been a gamer for 30 of my 39 years, and starting with Chrono Trigger on SNES I've leaned highly towards a game with a story even if the gameplay suffers, IE the turn based RPG style. But even those keep you on your toes with random encounters. This game would have made a great movie, or even a decent visual novel style game. If you want an almost perfect example of how this style of game can work play Control.… Expand

    So, the plot. Its pretty standart time-travel sequence. But it got a few tricks in it. Like really almost everything is evolving around it: story, gameplay, all this special effects. It really works for me as for the Back-to-the-Future fan

    So, all in all I enjoyed the experience.

    Gameplay is pretty fun. Story is kinda boring but the ending blew my mind. It's so deep, but looks like nobody got it. Even main character is not smart enough to understand what's going on, but his brother is.

    Quantum Break was one of my first games on Xbox and I really enjoyed it! Captivating cutscenes kept me engrossed the whole time. Still annoyed it wasn't made a TV show as it had that quality. I definitely recommend the game if you're into time bending moves and fluid gunplay.

Respecto a su forma de contar la historia que se compone de cinemáticas, documentos y una serie, es diferente a lo habitual y que para muchos esta bien y para otros no, sin embargo es claro que esta serie le da mucha profundidad a la historia.
    En resumen    Tanto en el argumento como en su jugabilidad es un juego muy sobresaliente, su gameplay rápido y dinámico es muy cómodo y entretenido. Respecto a su forma de contar la historia que se compone de cinemáticas, documentos y una serie, es diferente a lo habitual y que para muchos esta bien y para otros no, sin embargo es claro que esta serie le da mucha profundidad a la historia.

    Quantum Break is the game, that I bought Xbox One for! Fun super-hero shooting game, great visuals, cool separated chapters and movie idea. Although there is some a little difficult gameplay situations for casual player, but not critical.

    Average corridor shooter with the addition of "jedi force" powers which aren't all that useful. Ironically, despite you having time control powers it's a very slow game as your character movement is clunky and slow, as is the generic gunplay. Lots of cutscenes and also an interesting live movie element that plays occasionally. Combat is cliched and nothing you having seen before; you go into a large location with the usual arrangement of cover obstacles, red barrels, ammo packs, etc, then you kill all the bad guys before moving onto the next environmental puzzle. Also dotted around are laptops and files which all happen to be open at an email which fills in the plot. The characters are also quite dull. It's a very linear game that's also short. You can unlock branches that lead to slightly different replays but honestly I'm not sure that you'd want to bother. It's a real shame as the concept is interesting and the production values overall are very high, but the actual gameplay is nothing you don't get in any other game of this type and is often quite boring. Some nice easter eggs, such as a blackboard showing the motivation behind "Alan wake" and a funny time-based screenplay you find on one of the laptops. To be honest I would have preferred to have played the screenplay instead of this predictable, cliche ridden game.… Expand

    I truly enjoyed this game. It was something different for me personally and I loved the mechanics. I did get hooked in to the story as well. I was hoping, (and still am), for a direct sequel but, do to the fact that this game is made by Remedy, they did bring the good things of this game to a little hit they had called CONTROL.

    This is a really good game! It has action & suspense. The time manipulation abilities are really cool. Great cast of actors & tied into a real tv show. Good choice of guns & good shooting mechanics. It has a good story as well. Overall I’d say it’s the 2nd best game by Remedy after Alan Wake & I think it’s way better than Control. I would definitely play it again & I highly recommend it!

    A game must be fun, you may not find this game fun, but is even harder to find it tedious, because boredom is something you'll not find here!

    - The upgrade system relies on exploration which would be bad enough but they made the lights look identical to the upgrades making them a chore to find. - The weapons are dull and the enemies are bullet sponges. - The powers are good but frustrating to tell when they can be used or not. - The character runs SO slow -    Loved Control so thought I'd try this, but it's terrible.

Gracias al servicio del Game pass de MS, pude encontrar un excelente juego desarrollado por Remedy que había pasado desapercibido en mi historial de juegos de xbox 1, puedo decir que no fue una decepción el juego cumple con una trama clásica de Scy-fy ( viajes en el tiempo) muy entretenida con excelente narrativa, el cast de actores es de lujo se tomaron muy en serio hasta el punto de estar sumergido en la película, la musica es normal sin mucho que destacar, el gameplay cumple un shooter third person , ademas de poder hacer manipulación con el tiempo y ataque telekineticos muy original, no le puedo poner mas nota debido a que me deja debiendo las batallas contras los jefes, son muy básica sin nada de desafios. al final un juego recomendable dentro del servicio para pasar un buen rato de 10 horas aproximadamente.… Expand

The arc of the story is very predictable and doesn't have any of the cool twists that are present in better time travel stories.

    There is also a very forced-in side story told over the course of live-action/non-interactive episodes between each act. These take a few of the side characters and expand on their relationships and struggles against the evil corporation of the universe. These were akin to a bad sci fi show that would have been canceled after less than a season. Very tough to sit through.

    There are quite a few well known actors in the cast, and most of them do okay with the cringe-y dialogue, but it was a huge annoyance for me that Dominic Monaghan and Aidan Gillen were doing terrible American accents the whole time. They are fantastic actors, but it's really difficult to get invested in a story where the actors don't sound natural.

    The time powers were a really cool idea, but wound up being very standard (shield, dash, etc.) and not very memorable. It was easier to just shoot everyone, but that got real boring, real fast. Even after only 10 hours or so, I was ready to be done for sure.    … Expand

    Playing this via backwards compatibility on my xbox series s, the game looks like dog sh*t and had constant frame drops, I'm pretty sure it's not even 1080p more likely 720p the shooting is god awful just like the rest of the movement mechanics how did this game get 77 on here?

    Played on Series S. The game looks great, would benefit from a series x/s upgrade. Took a little while for me to get hooked (a few years of trying it and leaving it). But when I did I really enjoyed the game and story. Gameplay and enemy types could be improved. But great game over all. The first game I have completed in a while. It made me want to play Control, so onto that next!

    Nice game, beautiful graphics overall, a great concept which developpers didn't exploit to its full potential (poor impact of choices and light use of time travel potential). But don't be fooled by the score here, it's still a nice game to play.

I'd really like to preface before i go on, that i do NOT, by any means, think this game or any other in the remedy universe is "perfect". The performance of each game can leave a lot to be desired on lesser hardware. Especially Control. But, on with my opinions.

    The story? Absolutely perfect if a little convoluted. I've had an absolute blast playing through this game, watching the episodes that play as you go through the game. The acting, in game AND in the live action episodes dispersed throughout the game, is absolutely phenomenal. Nothing oscar worthy, but for a video game spliced with a TV show (which is so effing unique, still don't understand how somebody could rate this negatively) it is way, way more than just adequate.

    The key point here that i'd like to help everyone appreciate, is that Remedy are innovating as far as story telling goes in video games. The "remedy expanded universe" is turning out to be one of the most interesting "universes" in media history. Alan wake, Quantum Break, Control. Each of these games in their own ways, are extremely unique. But they all share a universe, and that is the real draw. It sucks you in, and doesn't let go. Like i said, none of these games are "perfect", but this is meaningless when you consider the absolute fact that NOTHING in the video game industry is perfect. Not Mario 64, Zelda OOT, Golden Eye. NOTHING has ever achieved perfection, only in nostalgia do these games look perfect. Halo 3 is the closest i've seen a game come to being perfect, and even that isn't quite there. I digress.

    Quantum Break is the epitome of "Multi-Media", and i say Multi-Media quite literally. The spliced TV show is as entertaining as the game. I found myself enjoying the breaks from the frantic and fast paced gameplay. The 20 minute episodes move at a relentless pace and give exposition perfectly, if a little clumsily at times. The fact that these episodes make up almost 2 hours of the time you'll be spending with this game running on your machine is a unique thing in itself. I believe the only other games that really ask you to sit without having your hands involved in the story directly are the amazing efforts by the one and only Hideo Kojima. This game gives you the option, however. So if you don't fancy sitting around or aren't heavily invested in the story, you do have the option to skip. I'd recommend you don't. These episodes are extremely well made and largely entertaining overall.

    If you give this game and the "TV show" that comes with it a little of your time and attention, i guarantee you will end up hooked. It grabbed me and did not let go until the very end.

    Strong recommendation, 9.5/10. Ignore the negativity, give it a go. Once you have and if you enjoy it, i suggest you try out Control if you haven't. It's very much similar to this game.    … Expand

    Its the worst Remedy game ever. I`m hudge Remedy fan , but this game has killed me. From the positive side :
    - Insanely beautifull grafics. Emotions , face animation , lipsync - top notch.
    - Game engine looks very promising : ojects behavour , tracks of bullets , etc... There are some flaws, like enemy bodies falling through the walls, but they are minor and do not break immersion. -    Its the worst Remedy game ever. I`m hudge Remedy fan , but this game has killed me. From the positive side :

    - Music is very stylish and to the point. I especially respect Remedy for very creative sound effect and music choice.
    From negative side :
    - Plot is overcomplex and you need to read gazillions of emails and other narrative stuff to stay up to date.
    - Fight scenes are chaotic and always go by the same scenario : you are running like a blind scared horse, randomly around the room, throwing left and right force fields and shoot them , hoping they will kill somebody. Everything happens very quickly and most of the time you have no time to plan the fight.
    - Abilities are strange and sometimes redundant. I was not able to figure out why you need the shield , if you have the force field that does the same , plus concentrate bullets and explodes with killing effect.
    - Controls are glitchy: time jump only works when you directly press forward and left shoulder button. If your analogue stick does not point DIRECTLY forward, ability does not trigger. This produces hudge amount of fails and you stop to use this ability unless you have to.
    - Pretty strange and not clear system of RPG-like skill improvement. You have to search for some "mist"-like clouds that are called quant-something and are randomly located over random sections of the game, and they are currency to buy upgrades.
    - You have to spam Y to be in your Time Vision all the time , in order to have the idea what is where . It is even worse then Assassins Creed or Tomb Raider.
    - To reveal the plot completely, you need to watch like 2 hours of video that you have to stream additionally form Internet. Holy God, this is over limits ! These movies are supposed to be you reward for completing the chapter, but they are very amature directed , even more amature shot and actors are kinda "yet another random man on the bus stop i see every day"-type.
    - Being on chapter 2 and talking with NPC taxi guy , i realised , that i forgot why and where we are going and what we want to achieve... Thats how bad the immersion is.
    I just cant rate Remedy red , cause they are one of my favourite game making companies, thats why i give five.
    But honestly, this game deserves no more than 2 and has to be re-done from combat controls , narrative pace , presentation layer perspectives.    … Expand

    the perfect combination of sci fi and RPG elements, Shawn Ashmore brings Jack Joyce to life in this experiment gone wrong. many upgrades for yourself, different types of weapons to choose and or pick up from killed enemies. story is split up into 5 different acts then eventually taking control of the antagonist for a bit. great ending to an underrated game.

    In the end it’s a game that just feels so empty. The story is great and so are the graphics, but that's it. None of the characters are interesting, the gameplay is often monotonous and it’s just so dull. I want to like it and I do, but in the end it’s just a lot of wasted potential.

Это действительно было очень круто. Отметить надо неплохую проработку. Как и все игры, она имеет пару минусов. Идёт она далеко не в 4к и не всегда в Full HD. Собственно, на этом проблемы графики заканчиваются. Игра практически не имеет багов, но персонаж иногда ведёт себя очень странно, банально может не перепрыгнуть забор. Это были единственные минусы. To achieve this aim, the kinematic where most of the script unfolds are played by real live actors, what has been the most discussed point of this game. Due to this, the game was not very well welcomed among the Xbox community. However, the game is not so bad and is enjoyable.
    The gameplay seems to be like the one we can find in any other third person third person shooter. However, It's way more than that thanks to the abilities that allow us to manipulate time in many ways. Definitely, this makes the game experience fresh and unique. Despite altering time is really cool, gunplay is a bit uncomfortable and hard to get used to.
    Visuals and audio effects are great, and really enchant the game experience till the point that we really think that we are on a movie. It's clear that the sensations developers wanted to send are really worked out. In general terms graphics are impressing (Moreover if we play on an Xbox one X), but sometimes it takes a bit to load textures.
    The real action short films, which are the most outstanding point of the game, are honestly too long and don't fit very well. It's true that they're really worked out and the acting is great, but unfortunately are unnecessary.
    Quantum Break is far from being one of the best games of Xbox One and the generation. However, it's one of the most ambitious one and worth playing it for sure.    … Expand

    Já havia jogado em 2016, agora em 2020 joguei duas vezes seguidas, me dediquei a entender a história, li todos os registros do jogo, uma história complexa porém extraordinária, se tornou uma das melhores experiências que já tive em games.

    Quantum Break is an incredible game that will hook you for its ten hour duration and stay with you long after that. The story is packed with mystery, suspense, and engaging characters caught in a high stakes situation where every decision is significant. While adding TV show may not have revolutionized storytelling, Quantum Break is a must play game for those looking to sink their teeth into a meaningful adventure.
