    What a joke of a game.....like the most majority games from console world....and again what makes you think you can play fluently on pc...honestly...where have you seen ever a good port from consoles ?...it doesn't by far even worth it....games are not what used to be anymore...i guess the bad marketing and bad ideas will bury the pc platform, btw.....in conclusion.....pfff.....give me a break...

    Quantum Break is a game about time travel and it tells the story of time travel very well between game and TV show, so overall the story is well done especially with the choice system opening the door to multiple playthroughs, no problems there.     Overall in my opinion Remedy delivers yet another well made game, Quantum Break will not be for everyone, the game relies on narrative and the ability to listen, if the only thing you can play is COD you might want to avoid this gem.

    So....

    Solid story albeit a tad confusing on the first play-through, and the choice system adds longevity to the game, great cast of characters and the use of the time powers is a joy to behold and a lot of fun, but some awkward platforming sections and clunky controls can hinder what is an otherwise excellent game.

    the game is simply amazing. The graphical effects with the time abilities is INSANE! A must have for all Xbox and PC owners. The game can last from 10-20 hours so it does not overstay its welcome.

    magnífico juego. Magnífico argumento y gráficos de dejarte sin aliento. Creo que las críticas no le hacen justicia, lo que suele suceder con ideas frescas que se salen de lo de siempre.

    Summarising this game I'd use the word mediocre. You spend about a third of the time doing the standard console actiongame slow walk looking at things and talking, a third watching live action cutscenes and a third using some powers and shooting the same 5 or so different enemies the entire game. Add to that the bland and boring gameplay and the ridiculous amount of time wasting walking slowly and rewatch unskippable cutscenes if you die, a replay is out of the question.
    If you really want to see the cutscenes from the other choice you are better off watching it on youtube than playing through this game again.
    The story is not bad but it's pretty "meh".
    As for any good words about this game all I can say is the game does have some nice lighting and it looks pretty good despite an upscaled 720p, it lacks some of the nicer reflections and shadowquality of the pc version but otherwise a pretty good looking game. The motionblur is less prevalent compared to pc because you sit further away from the screen. The acting/voice acting is top notch.
    I gave this version 1 point more than the pc version as it is running as expected on console. It is optimised for the console and you can't fault it for not running at higher frames and resolution considering the crappy hardware in the console.
    Still it's definately not a buy imo at full price, wait for a sale, used copy or "free" with games with gold.    … Expand

    siendo objetivo, el juego es una maravilla y toda persona con un xbox one lo debe tener como una compra obligada. no es un juego de mundo abierto como los que la gente de esta generacion se acostumbro a jugar para que el juego sea de 10, pero este juego se merece un puesto especial en el catalogo del xbox one

    The game itself flows smoothly, has great visuals, pace, acting, and much more. I find the combat challenging without being overly so, and I enjoy that the narrative strips out some of the knitty gritty parts of the story that wouldn't be too fun to play (as in, you're basically playing the most important parts of the story). Generally I find that many games force you to travel around menially and have too many side quests and branching story lines. I appreciate when a gameplay experience is curated for me and that wins tons of bonus points for Quantum Break.

    Based on my experience I'm pretty sure all types of players will enjoy this game. The story is engaging, gameplay intense, and I'm pleased with the whole package. Definitely recommended.    … Expand

    Not so cool as i expected, but still dynamic & interesting. To much mails and texts. Too much for a perfect game with a story and without cinematics. Also its not a good feeling shooter but good story.

    Awesome, ambitious, captivating, amazing-looking truly next-gen experience by good folks from Remedy. I recommend anyone with an Xbox One console to own this game at some point. I still don't understand why would someone give any game a score of "zero". Unless those greedy bastards at Gamespot were trying to sabotage the game following their preconceived negative agenda.

We could've gotten awesome puzzles and more daring editing with the fractured timeline stuff and perhaps new mechanics or scenes that really highlight that what you're doing is time stuff, not just a samey and uninspiring third-person shooter where your cardboard cutout protagonist sluggishly non-walks or non-runs around, bumping into time things... It's not very long either so you're left with the feeling that you just dealt with bad prime-time cable TV and ran around shooting at big dudes and all you have to show for it is a bevy of very easy achievements and a dilemma of how you can wring more from the game to justify paying anything over $40 for it. Wait for a sale or rent it if such a thing is still possible.… Expand

    I like games and tv series. Both is combined in QB in a great way. Playing and following the story gave me a good time. It you are looking for a big open-world with millions of things to search for - this is not your game. But if you like story and a good shooter with nice special abilities- manupulating time - give this game a try.

    After playing and LOVING Alan Wake and Max Payne I had high hopes for this game. The acting is good to very good and the writing, while decent, is not the same caliber as previous games. The lore in the game    Quantum Break is a good game but not a great game. Since it was being developed by Remedy and Sam Lake at the helm, I was hoping for it to be great. Sadly its just a good game.

    After playing and LOVING Alan Wake and Max Payne I had high hopes for this game. The acting is good to very good and the writing, while decent, is not the same caliber as previous games. The lore in the game is conveyed by optional content and its actually FRUSTRATINGLY uneven - some passages are LONG while others are very short - and most of it would have been better conveyed through some sort of cut scene. However with the live action sections taking up 75.4 GB and being streamed I can understand why some of this became wall of text exposition instead of a cut scene.

    The game is moderate length (10 to 12 hours depending on how much you explore) but shorter than I had hoped. The game play is decent but not really all that innovative.

    Graphics, music and sound are top notch and the story is engaging, but not as well done as previous Remedy projects.

    Overall its a good game and although I am really irritated with the final boss battle, it is well made but the replay value is low for me. This is a game that is worth playing but I would say, if you haven't bought it already, to wait for it to go on sale - unless you really need something to fill in the last gaps before Uncharted 4 and Dark Souls 3.    … Expand

    This game is really nice, The story of the game is like a movie. I wish there was online to it though because it would be more fun. The graphics looked great though the scenes the 3rd person view.

    Seeing all of these negative reviews doesn't make any sense to me but anyways, I was initially thinking this game was around a 8 or 9 until the later game.     I'll start with the actual game mechanics and core parts of the game. The gunplay was super tight, to the point where I had to turn down my sensitivity because my shots would go wide by meters if I were trying to fight quickly. It may not be for everyone, but I love the fact that it actually requires a good bit of effort to fight. I'll just say that the time powers are awesome, creatively integrated throughout the many aspects of the game, and just completely badass. The graphics made me squeak a bit, even though I'm a scrub that plays on a 1080i television screen, with awesome animations, immense attention to detail, and creative, beautiful set pieces.

    I won't go too in-depth on the story, so you can experience it for yourself, but it was really well done! Creative, well thought-out, good dialogue, the whole shebang. All of those are only strengthened by the performances, especially on the part of Shawn Ashmore. I liked how they used the Novikov self-consistency principle (I'm a theoretical physics major) to explain how the story, while seemingly branching out to what could have been different outcomes, eventually all have the same ending. (The principle states that, in simple terms, if someone were to travel back in time, 'history' would find a way to keep the future on track, and keep the same outcome, even if there are slight variations along the way). I like it when developers have reasons for their choices, even if it was to allow them to limit the story.

    Overall, I think the game is great, and I would recommend it to anyone that's interested.    … Expand

    Gameplay- 9/10: The core gameplay is great. The shooting aspects are near flawless and when mixed with the general CRAZINESS of using time bending powers, it becomes godlike. It is the Payne games turned up to the max. The platforming sections are weak do to loose controls though Story- 9/10: Really engaging and over the top. I personally loved it.     This whole game is just a huge cutscene. No gameplay whatsoever. Even worse, the graphics look like a 360 game. The framerate constantly dips below 30 fps. There's also enough screen tearing to give you a headache. Story is laughable to say the least. Do not buy this garbage game.

    The easiest way to describe this game is to just it's basically one giant gimmick. Nothing particularly memorable. Quantum Break is the latest game to fall victim to the hype train surrounding new releases. It also has almost no replay value which is sad considering how much time they had to create this game.

    Probably the best game on this generation of console , fresh and not casual. Remedy is sinonim of quality. The graphics are georgous , and the gameplay as well. The tv serie is a good combination to understand the story of all the,characters who's apear on the game.

    Phenomenal game. Beautiful graphics, amazing character likenesses, a time travel story that actually makes sense, fun (albeit limited) combat that makes you feel like a superhero, and a really great TV show woven in. I absolutely loved this game. Even the collectibles were interesting to read.

    Pretty boring if you don't like the genre. Very low-budget tv-show like ingame videos. Awful Mexican voice acting. Doesn't have European Spanish voice acting. Not purchasing any Remedy games in the future due to that. This game is not the experience they promised when they first announced it.

Alan wake was this way as well. if you went back to that game and tore apart each gameplay element individually you would be left with a bunch of so so parts....Somehow together they form a great recipe...im on pc and 980ti playing dsr 2k it looks georgeous, great story, atmosphere, gameplay is fine.Through act 2. Im not exactly having a blast, but i cant wait to get back to playing. Alan wake was this way as well. if you went back to that game and tore apart each gameplay element individually you would be left with a bunch of so so parts....Somehow together they form a great recipe...im on pc and 980ti playing dsr 2k it looks georgeous, great story, atmosphere, gameplay is fine.     QB is a very immersive game with excellent game play. The acting is also very well executed and takes place in a highly detailed world.

    I am really enjoying the game and I marked my review a "10" only because I am trying to make up for haters giving it a "0" cuz reezuns.

    My real score for the game is an "8".

The graphics is good, i didn't have any problem with it at all and the fps was good the whole way through. I really don't understand these PS4 fanboys. Please i got a PS4, Xbox one, gaming PC and Wii U aswell. I don't favor any consoles at all. Xbox one got a good gameI really like the game overall.     We had to wait and wait some more but finally everyone can experience Quantum Break. It has become another Remedy succes and I hope it finds a way to many gamers hearts. It really deserves that.

    I have to confess to being a little disappointed with this game after looking forward to it so much. Graphically it is very rough in places; the camera doesn't pan smoothly round the player (occasional glitches which will hopefully be resolved in a future patch/update). Remedy, like with Alan Wake (sequel please), succeed in telling a great story and letting the player participate in it.     im having a blast with this game although i wish it was longer. really hoping there will be added dlc later on along the line. alot of the negative reviews are biased. mostly PS fans coming here to give it the negative score but can turn around and something like street fighter a 10. pay attention. i suggest playing the game for yourself

    QB is the best game I've played on next gen thus far... 10/10 I love the the graphics the action the mechanics the presentation the acting the seamless live action clips. I'm overwhelmed by the brilliance of this game.

The frame rate is all over the place. My rating is based on gameplay and I didn't have much fun with it TBH.     What's happened here ? Why so much trolls from PS4 fanboys ? So my real score is 8. Quantum Breaks is very dynamic when we use powers. I finish the game in 10h30 (without the serie for sure). Graphics are really nice.

    I would prefer rate 8 as score but Ps4 fanboys are so idiot with their 0... Quantum Break has some minors defaults but play this game is a true experience. Moreover, i can also discover Alan Wake games now for free so don't hesitate ;)

    Quantum Break is a really good game. Actors in the series are also good although i prefer the original hero in the demo. Sometimes there are few bugs but it's ok. I hope a sequel in 2 years :D

You have to play smartly. Cons: like most other people, I thought you got all of your powers way too early. It makes the fights later on tedious and feel too familiar. The graphics, while most of the time looking awesome, can sometimes just look weird, but that might just be me. The last thing is that I feel it was a tad short, but still worth it to me. It was roughly around 6-7 hours. Overall, like I put above, I'd give this an 8. It's not a console seller, but I want it in my xbox collection. Quantum Break is also quite possibly the prettiest game on Xbox One, with its glorious lighting effects, top notch texture quality and character models.
    Game play wise, the game is third person shooter that gives you control of Jack Joyce, a brother of a time travel inventor called Will Joyce, and best friend of Paul Serene who leads a company called Monarch Solutions, who are thought to be preparing for the end of time thanks to a fracture in time at the beginning of the game. During combat, Jack has an array of time powers to manipulate and take down enemies within gunplay, that feel satisfying and responsive.
    The audio department is also noticeably deep and well developed, as guns sound positively powerful and mechanical to use. Voice acting and performances in the game and TV episodes also feel believable and totally engaging, which help to elevate tension in the story.

    The only problems I encountered in my play through was the lack of lock on cover in combat, and occasional frame rate hiccups in cut scenes.

    Overall, Quantum Break is a must buy console exclusive for Xbox One. It looks stellar, plays solidly throughout and is well written and paced. 9/10    … Expand

    This game is amazing pulsating action ready to blast you away. An action adventure game with third person shooter characteristics and time bending abilities. Quantum Break is very unique with a great story and a very fresh take on the telling of said story. I find it to be a must play for any serious Xbox/PC gamer.

    Can´t understand why these sonyboys come to Metacritic with the only goal of hating the game and giving it a bad score.
    Shame on these people, and shame on metacritic for allow such thing to happen. What was once an amazing tool became a real pain.

However, the only reason I have not given this game a perfect score is due to its ending, although by the time I put down my controller after completion I felt satisfied, it gave me the outcome I was hoping for and left a hint for a sequel or DLC but the aspect of choosing at these junctions through out the game and seeing how different they are, it in no way changes the outcome of the game, not even in the slightest. But other than that it holds up well kept me playing, for me it was a decent length, took me around 9-10 hours on normal, including the TV that was acted well with great cinematography. All in all the game is a solid 9/10 and hope to see future remedy games in this universe once again, but I could do with another Alan Wake too though so keep at it Remedy!… Expand

    I own both XBox One and Windows 10 PC. At first I decided to play the game on PC but my redeem code is still being delivered so I played on XBox. And I didn't regret. PC user reviews are bad but it is very good XBox game! Enjoy :)

    Great looking, enjoyable, slightly campy scifi romp. Excellent combat however I could see disliking it if you try and play it like a cover shooter. The collectibles are really good and I'll bet mostly overlooked since they are all text.

    Quantum Break offers an absolutely immersive, integrative, and laser-focused experience, primarily focused on narrative and content. In the current shape of the industry, it is extremely refreshing to play a game that focuses on a single aspect and presents it effectively; there is no attempt to tack on superfluous multiplayer modes or DLC.

    The game is awesome. Nice looking TPS which really reminds me of the best moments in "F.E.A.R.". There's some technical issues in this thing, but you will stop paying attention to them realizing that game have much more than just pretty graphics and decent story.

    Wow this is embarrassing! How can some one give something like this a 0??? I mean people are really stupid. 0 -40 is how you rate a game like "Ride to Hell" or "Rambo" not a game that was developed for many years with lots of effort and passion. I must say that I'm more of a PS4 gamer myself but come the **** on people. This deserves at least a strong 8 or more.

    For my one of the best games,it have only "story and cutscenes" in the first 30 minutes,but after this,the game turns into a very interesting game,with very good shooter mechanics,a beautiful visual and graphics,good physics(even better with the Time Powers) and the effect are just Awesome,the Sound Effects and Dialogues are extremely well made and then react extremely realistic to "TimeFor my one of the best games,it have only "story and cutscenes" in the first 30 minutes,but after this,the game turns into a very interesting game,with very good shooter mechanics,a beautiful visual and graphics,good physics(even better with the Time Powers) and the effect are just Awesome,the Sound Effects and Dialogues are extremely well made and then react extremely realistic to "Time Control" (like you slow the time and the sounds seems like it's REALLY in slow motion,something that even Max Payne 3 form Rockstar didn't make it so well) also the story is extremely good and i really like the way you can change the story… Expand

    Quantum Break is the Remedy's absolute project. It combines a strong narrative with a solid gameplay. If you like Alan Wake and Max Payne you really need play Quantum Break.

    Wonderful game. Very good story and excellent gameplay and graphics masterpiece. Despite the series in game makes it more beautiful. My rating for this game is definitely 10

Mixing both gameplay elements of old and new, it's the perfect combination of what made their past games special while bringing new things to the table.     This game hits all the marks and is Fantastic! If you want a good story, excellent gameplay elements and a game that tries something interesting and new pick this up.

    simply a must own if your a xbox gamer there is not a better looking game. The story is tight and cohesive and the episodes after are done very well. 10/10

    Im so frustraded and disappointed with this game, its an low-medium quality game, but i thought it would be a masterpiece, i was wrong. The series is boring, the game is boring, the soundtrack is medium quality, you only keep taking papers and giving shots in dumb enemies, its so easy and soooo boring. The word that represents this game is "BORING", don't buy, but if you really want to,Im so frustraded and disappointed with this game, its an low-medium quality game, but i thought it would be a masterpiece, i was wrong.     Boring game, you don't play noting is a movie for 60 $, very bad boring boring boring boring, you play 15 minutes and then cinematic with real people boring boring this is a movie not a game I want play more.

    Quantum Break is an incredible game that will hook you for its ten hour duration and stay with you long after that. The story is packed with mystery, suspense, and engaging characters caught in a high stakes situation where every decision is significant. While adding TV show may not have revolutionized storytelling, Quantum Break is a must play game for those looking to sink their teeth into a meaningful adventure.

    Quantum Break is a bad movie, but a really good game. It did not convince me with its poor (and poorly told) story and characters that I did not care about at all, but as a shooter it is really enjoyable and creative. [05/2016, p.38]
