    This game is amazing pulsating action ready to blast you away. An action adventure game with third person shooter characteristics and time bending abilities. Quantum Break is very unique with a great story and a very fresh take on the telling of said story. I find it to be a must play for any serious Xbox/PC gamer.

    Through act 2. Im not exactly having a blast, but i cant wait to get back to playing. Alan wake was this way as well. if you went back to that game and tore apart each gameplay element individually you would be left with a bunch of so so parts....Somehow together they form a great recipe...im on pc and 980ti playing dsr 2k it looks georgeous, great story, atmosphere, gameplay is fine.Through act 2. Im not exactly having a blast, but i cant wait to get back to playing.     I liked the game,the story is really good,and Remedy knows how to tell it,it's entertaining and I want to play more when I have to stop to play only cause I want to know more about the story.The gameplay is so good,all the abilities are useful,and is funny,but there are few combats,I wanted to shoot more,and the platforms zones and puzzles are too easy. It's a very good game,but it's tooI liked the game,the story is really good,and Remedy knows how to tell it,it's entertaining and I want to play more when I have to stop to play only cause I want to know more about the story.The gameplay is so good,all the abilities are useful,and is funny,but there are few combats,I wanted to shoot more,and the platforms zones and puzzles are too easy. It's a very good game,but it's too short,I finish the game in 9:30 hours,but I searched colectables so I think you can finish it in 9 hours.     This game a truly fresh air , after all this online games and similar open-worlds. Good story, memorable characters. Want to wish good luck Remedy with next game.

    Buenísima forma de plantear de principio a fin una temática muy cliché dentro del mundo de la ciencia ficción.

    Quantum Break is a game about time travel and it tells the story of time travel very well between game and TV show, so overall the story is well done especially with the choice system opening the door to multiple playthroughs, no problems there.     Overall in my opinion Remedy delivers yet another well made game, Quantum Break will not be for everyone, the game relies on narrative and the ability to listen, if the only thing you can play is COD you might want to avoid this gem.

    So....

    Solid story albeit a tad confusing on the first play-through, and the choice system adds longevity to the game, great cast of characters and the use of the time powers is a joy to behold and a lot of fun, but some awkward platforming sections and clunky controls can hinder what is an otherwise excellent game.

    QB is a very immersive game with excellent game play. The acting is also very well executed and takes place in a highly detailed world.

    I am really enjoying the game and I marked my review a "10" only because I am trying to make up for haters giving it a "0" cuz reezuns.

    My real score for the game is an "8".

    What's happened here ? Why so much trolls from PS4 fanboys ? So my real score is 8. Quantum Breaks is very dynamic when we use powers. I finish the game in 10h30 (without the serie for sure). Graphics are really nice.

    Fun game. Makes you feel like a superhero. The choices are awesome too its like Until Dawn with more effect. The TV show is well acted as well. Overall great story game and a must have for X1

    the game is simply amazing. The graphical effects with the time abilities is INSANE! A must have for all Xbox and PC owners. The game can last from 10-20 hours so it does not overstay its welcome.

    This is why Metacritic is a joke. Look at the 15 0's in a row. Clearly it is a forum that has come on here to crap on the game. The game is rock solid, with great character acting and has solid controls. No game is a 10...but also, no game is a zero. I wish this was moderated.

    Gameplay- 9/10: The core gameplay is great. The shooting aspects are near flawless and when mixed with the general CRAZINESS of using time bending powers, it becomes godlike. It is the Payne games turned up to the max. The platforming sections are weak do to loose controls though Story- 9/10: Really engaging and over the top. I personally loved it. The characters are great    Lotta fun!

    In general the game is really well polished as well. It lacks glitchs and runs very well on my Xbox One

    As far as flaws go they are small. As said above the platforming sections are boring and hard due to controls, the TV episodes love to buffer, and there is an occasional cheesy moment or hurried plot line. But compared to the excellent game play and amazing story-these are slight flaws and do not detract from an otherwise awesome experience.    … Expand

    siendo objetivo, el juego es una maravilla y toda persona con un xbox one lo debe tener como una compra obligada. no es un juego de mundo abierto como los que la gente de esta generacion se acostumbro a jugar para que el juego sea de 10, pero este juego se merece un puesto especial en el catalogo del xbox one

    Wow. What a big Sony children style reviews attack. You're such jealous? Yeah. No surprise. Sony has only gay exclusives like The Order so it's normal that they're jealous. QB is one of the best games this year but I hope so that Gears 4 will be even better :) Incredibly strong year for Xbox.

    A very ambitious video game that tries to blend together two genres, TV and Video Game, into a action packed 3rd person shooter. The TV show, to my surprise, was actually very well done. It felt a lot like a CBS show, something like Person of Interest or Fringe (with its whole sci-fi aspect). The game part was amazing. Jaw dropping set pieces that really had me in awe numerous times.     Big fan of Alan Wake and Remedy storytelling, so this game has been on my list of must haves since it was announced. Can honestly say this was worth the wait. The gameplay is fun the story has me hooked as do all the background emails and notes that can be found. A bit more combat and another difficulty setting are my only Negatives. Absolutely loved the Live action TV parts which were theBig fan of Alan Wake and Remedy storytelling, so this game has been on my list of must haves since it was announced. Can honestly say this was worth the wait. The gameplay is fun the story has me hooked as do all the background emails and notes that can be found. A bit more combat and another difficulty setting are my only Negatives. Absolutely loved the Live action TV parts which were the perfect length and allowed me to grab a drink and settle into some more Remedy Story telling.

    If your a Remedy fan or just someone who loves a well paced story driven game with some fun Gameplay than this is a must do Gaming Experience.

    There's few flaws about this game. Super production and music, flawless gameplay and tons of replay value. The waiting was worth our time. one of the few Xbone exclusives every gamer should play and enjoy to the fullest.

    I really don't get the low scores given on this game.
    Remedy succeeds in delivering a promising, deep and interesting storyline with somewhat interesting characters (Wish Beth were more present).
    Personally i really needed a game like Quantum Break in addition to previous story-line failing games such as The Division, and i get that it might get a little confusing at times with the time    I really don't get the low scores given on this game.

The gameplay in overall could be more polished and be given additionel features other than time-shifting, shooting and searching for additionel storyline documents...
    But i believe that the story catches up to that, and i finally i sat through a whole game with a story that was interesting only not to be let down by a horrible ending.

    All in all i spend 20 hours completing this game on hard, looting absolutely everything i could, and i would say it was worth my time AND money.

    If you like me, are in need of a game that has an fantastic, interesting and deep storyline with a bonding main character i suggest you try this out. I had tons of fun.    … Expand

    I loved it, best game on this generation so far for me. It`s a beautiful game, with great characters and a deep story. It`s not for everyone, but games like dark souls aren`t either. If you like story driven games, and you have played Alan Wake and liked it, you are going to love this.

    Great looking, enjoyable, slightly campy scifi romp. Excellent combat however I could see disliking it if you try and play it like a cover shooter. The collectibles are really good and I'll bet mostly overlooked since they are all text.

    its so sad that this game is being bashed, its a good game, not excellent not perfect but it really is a good game, i give it a 10 because the score should be at 8, thats what the game deserves, and an 8 is not bad, is good.

    Quantum Break is a must have if your a Xbox One owner The story and Game play suck you right in the graphics and sound simply breathtaking as you dive deep into the 10 hour story of Jack Joyce. reply value is high because there a different choices you make along the way that tell a different story. Buy Quantum Break you will not be disappointed.

    I can understand why some people don't like the game, e.g. this sci-fi story isn't something for everyone, but for me it was one of the best games I've played so far (and I played many games since 1990) and I really like those time-stories.     Me ha gustado mucho, la historia es muy buena y combinada con las escenas de película te mantiene siempre atento. Los gráficos son excelentes y la jugabilidad también. Conforme avanza la trama vas adquiriendo habilidades que combinadas con las diferentes armas te dan un buen repertorio de posibilidades en combate.

    I own both XBox One and Windows 10 PC. At first I decided to play the game on PC but my redeem code is still being delivered so I played on XBox. And I didn't regret. PC user reviews are bad but it is very good XBox game! Enjoy :)

    El juego lo encontre excelente como todos los juegos trae sus problemas pero nada que nobsea solucionable la historia te sumerge enseguida y como esta narrada me gusto mucho ademas la serie le da otro toque especial al juego muy recomendable 100%

    sistema de jogo nunca mostrado, com gráficos similar a 4k de pc ultra, jogo para ser jogo do ano, melhor que esse jogo vai demorar aparecer, realmente me surpreendeu a jogabilidade e graficamente, principalmente sistema facial.

    Absolutely fantastic storytelling. Great atmosphere and graphics. Very fitting soundtrack also. The acting is great and the episodes in between gameplay really flow well and provide a nice interlude between gunfights and exploration. The movement of the main character can be slightly clumsy in places but that is such a minor point that I wouldn't dock points for it. 10/10 well done remedy!

    Quantum Break is a really good game. Actors in the series are also good although i prefer the original hero in the demo. Sometimes there are few bugs but it's ok. I hope a sequel in 2 years :D

    im having a blast with this game although i wish it was longer. really hoping there will be added dlc later on along the line. alot of the negative reviews are biased. mostly PS fans coming here to give it the negative score but can turn around and something like street fighter a 10. pay attention. i suggest playing the game for yourself

    We had to wait and wait some more but finally everyone can experience Quantum Break. It has become another Remedy succes and I hope it finds a way to many gamers hearts. It really deserves that.

    Phenomenal game. Beautiful graphics, amazing character likenesses, a time travel story that actually makes sense, fun (albeit limited) combat that makes you feel like a superhero, and a really great TV show woven in. I absolutely loved this game. Even the collectibles were interesting to read.

    Me parece una excelente historia, y me gusto mucho el formato de incluir una serie como complemento. Jugablemente muy pulido y no he notado problemas de bugs u otros errores. Un juego imprescindible en mi opinión.

    As to the game. The combat overall was enjoyable; as a standalone shooter this would have been a major fail as the variety of weapons and their differentiation was very limited; but add in the time powers and the combat was quite fluid and satisfying....if a little on the easy side on Normal....which personally, I ain't complaining about :)

    Pic quality hits a few rough parts but by and large is excellent.

    While I can't remember the last game I played that was under 20 hours, I was less disappointed than I thought I would be, because.....

    The true strength of this game is the storytelling....dear lord I found this amazing. All the characters were extremely well fleshed out, to the point I can't think of a game that comes close. Particular kudos to whomever wrote for Beth.....the diary entries were the best writing I have ever seen in a video game!!    … Expand

    Soy Usuario de Xbox One y Ps4. Quantum Break es un gran juego y lo mas importante, muy diferente a lo visto hasta ahora. Aquí solo depende si te gusta o no el genero. A mi personalmente se me ha echo aburrido.
    Aún así invito a probarlo a todo el mundo. Hay que jugarlo.

I find the combat challenging without being overly so, and I enjoy that the narrative strips out some of the knitty gritty parts of the story that wouldn't be too fun to play (as in, you're basically playing the most important parts of the story). Generally I find that many games force you to travel around menially and have too many side quests and branching story lines. I appreciate when a gameplay experience is curated for me and that wins tons of bonus points for Quantum Break.

    Based on my experience I'm pretty sure all types of players will enjoy this game. The story is engaging, gameplay intense, and I'm pleased with the whole package. Definitely recommended.    … Expand

    I like games and tv series. Both is combined in QB in a great way. Playing and following the story gave me a good time. It you are looking for a big open-world with millions of things to search for - this is not your game. But if you like story and a good shooter with nice special abilities- manupulating time - give this game a try.

    Amazing game. Spectacular. Story, screenplay, etc. are amazing. I don't remember another game like this one. If you read another note below 8 ignore it. It's a hater. QB is an incredible game. Every one should enjoy something like this.

    This game is really nice, The story of the game is like a movie. I wish there was online to it though because it would be more fun. The graphics looked great though the scenes the 3rd person view.

    Awesome, ambitious, captivating, amazing-looking truly next-gen experience by good folks from Remedy. I recommend anyone with an Xbox One console to own this game at some point. I still don't understand why would someone give any game a score of "zero". Unless those greedy bastards at Gamespot were trying to sabotage the game following their preconceived negative agenda.

    I guess I will be the 1000th review, this game is awesome. I completed the game in 14-15 hours and I'm going to have a second go with it because of the different junctions I can choose from. Excellent acting, story, graphics, audio, difficulty and setting for the game. My favorite game on any device this year, thus far.

    Quantum Break is the type of game I have been waiting to play for a while now; a linear third person shooter that tells an engrossing story, with interesting characters from start to finish of its 10-12 hour campaign. Quantum Break is also quite possibly the prettiest game on Xbox One, with its glorious lighting effects, top notch texture quality and character models.
    Game play wise, the game is third person shooter that gives you control of Jack Joyce, a brother of a time travel inventor called Will Joyce, and best friend of Paul Serene who leads a company called Monarch Solutions, who are thought to be preparing for the end of time thanks to a fracture in time at the beginning of the game. During combat, Jack has an array of time powers to manipulate and take down enemies within gunplay, that feel satisfying and responsive.
    The audio department is also noticeably deep and well developed, as guns sound positively powerful and mechanical to use. Voice acting and performances in the game and TV episodes also feel believable and totally engaging, which help to elevate tension in the story.

    The only problems I encountered in my play through was the lack of lock on cover in combat, and occasional frame rate hiccups in cut scenes.

    Overall, Quantum Break is a must buy console exclusive for Xbox One. It looks stellar, plays solidly throughout and is well written and paced. 9/10    … Expand

    A good mix between a action game and a good a good series. Graphics are amazing and i spend 11h to finish the game. I buy a Xbox One for this game last year, i don't have any regrets. :)

    Remedy gives us a rich game.
    Can´t understand why these sonyboys come to Metacritic with the only goal of hating the game and giving it a bad score.
    Shame on these people, and shame on metacritic for allow such thing to happen. What was once an amazing tool became a real pain.

In the current shape of the industry, it is extremely refreshing to play a game that focuses on a single aspect and presents it effectively; there is no attempt to tack on superfluous multiplayer modes or DLC.

    This game is SPECTACULAR! The game is a stunner from a technological standpoint. I don't understand the negative media reviews. My only disappointment is that the game has to end. Awesome game! If you love cinema this is an opus to cinema and pulling it off from a technological stand point is amazing.

    We have to asume it, this game is the game of the last generation. The script as the art, OST and graphics are an ode that perfectly sounds in a symphony. The idea that had of combine the video games and a tv-serie creates a perfect round set! A must have video game if you are a lover of the video games.

However, the only reason I have not given this game a perfect score is due to its ending, although by the time I put down my controller after completion I felt satisfied, it gave me the outcome I was hoping for and left a hint for a sequel or DLC but the aspect of choosing at these junctions through out the game and seeing how different they are, it in no way changes the outcome of the game, not even in the slightest. But other than that it holds up well kept me playing, for me it was a decent length, took me around 9-10 hours on normal, including the TV that was acted well with great cinematography. All in all the game is a solid 9/10 and hope to see future remedy games in this universe once again, but I could do with another Alan Wake too though so keep at it Remedy!… Expand

    My favorite thing about Quantum Break is that it isn't your typical video game. I love the fact that it is like playing through a television series as the lead character with a chose your own adventure element. I mean people are really stupid. 0 -40 is how you rate a game like "Ride to Hell" or "Rambo" not a game that was developed for many years with lots of effort and passion. I must say that I'm more of a PS4 gamer myself but come the **** on people. This deserves at least a strong 8 or more.

En cuanto a la jugabilidad las mecánicas si bien no son revolucionarias aparecen como interesantes y dan buenas opciones para combinar movimientos lo que le da un poco mas de dinamismo a un juego en que la historia y su forma de contarla son su fuerte.

    Well, after 2 hours playing I started to enjoy it. The history is very good and when you learn all skills you can do nice combos.
