Tetris is standard Tetris play in clearing line by line hopefully in Teris after Tetris pro form. In Puyo Puyo Tetris 2, these two games are crushed together for both single player and multiplayer modes. Especially while going toward an opponent of AI or online for some unexpected challenge and fun. Puyo Puyo Tertis 2 keeps the formula from the original title which only released in Japan for the Xbox One, and this time you are able to enjoy the sequel on your Xbox One or in full Xbox Series X glory. I was expecting a strong showing since I played the original to completion, I knew Sega would deliver in this impending sequel. The online play really leads to unlimited play, and even after release there is plenty of traffic online to still enjoy the great puzzle matches. You can even play Tetris or Puyo Puyo as the only mode and I tend to play this way myself, so I can concentrate on a single formula at one time when competing online. The single player journey has you complete a range of challenges and offers plenty of single player fun throughout just as the first title in the series. Some may fear the hefty price of admission but I can assure you that Puyo Puyo Tetris 2: The Ultimate Puzzle Match is indeed exactly that. You can pick up the game at your local retailer or directly through the Xbox digital games store and surely will indeed if you are a fan of puzzle games.… Expand

    The lack of more modes fusing the two games together is a bit of a disappointment, but Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is one of the best ways to play pure versions of either franchise, alongside a ton of interesting variations.

    Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 is a mixture of flavors that fits very well, like those packages that mix sweet and salty nuts. But it is a package that comes full to the brim with its many game modes and options for playing solo or multiplayer.

    A gorgeous package with lots of game modes and contents. The new single player campaign is a good addition to an already excellent game, yet where Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 really shines is in its multiplayer department.
