Feb 26, 2022terrible lazy cash grab. the original is of course a great game but this is almost unplayable they put -10 effort into this. literally nothing was done to make it playable on modern consoles. you´re way way way better off playing on an emulator if you don´t have the original.

Jan 28, 2019This is still the same game as the PS2 original, and much of the gameplay still holds up, minus some cheap one-hit death puzzles that prove extra frustrating since they occur during some unskippable cutscenes. While the experimental combination of Survival Horror and Capcom-style Action proved more successful with its sequels, Onimusha: Warlords is still an entertaining prototype that is worth a revisit for fans and a first look for newcomers.

Jan 25, 2019The mechanical core stood the test of time, unlike the visuals. I am still waiting for Onimusha to get a decent sequel or the Resident Evil 2 treatment.
