    Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered keeps all the traits of the simple and immediate original arcade racer, but it can feel a bit too simple for modern gamers. Technically it's a very good porting though, and if you aren't looking for a too deep or varied experience, it can still be very enjoyable.

    If you have a reverence for the original Need for Speed Hot Pursuit or if you’ve never played the original and are simply looking for an excellent racing game, Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is worth your time. The game doesn’t quite look or feel quite on par with modern racing games, but it has always been in a lane of its own and still offers an undeniable sense of speed and satisfaction in the gameplay. The remastered edition also includes all the additional DLC content and some new achievements, so there’s a decent value proposition here too. If you’re sitting on the fence, my advice is to get it while it’s hot. There’s an online fervour building for this game that you won’t want to miss.

    Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered is the perfect reminder of what Criterion brought to the franchise, with a blisteringly fast arcade racer that’s made all the better if you’ve got the ability to play it at 60fps. The main downside is that your Autolog wall is more likely to splashed with your solitary achievements, rather than the consistent flow of competition you experienced a decade ago.

    Some games age better than others, and this is the case of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit: this new version shows an Autolog that still works and the fun in the pursuits is still there. There is some visual glitch, but overall, this remaster is perfect for anybody who never tried one of the best game in the series.

    Need for Speed Hot Pursuit Remastered offers slight technical improvements and 6 hours of content compared to the game 10 years ago. And it may not be enough except that you are a true fan of the license.

    Despite having high hopes for Hot Pursuit's new remastered version, I found it to be just another mediocre Need for Speed game, using the name of the veteran series, without actually living up to it.

Remastering games is quite popular trend these days due to the lack of time involved to a new IP or sequel to release between the newest games. it's been always a thing but now it's quite popular and it's something I really personally enjoy seeing as long as they are done right. Because I just don't understand developers that releases another game that actually and almost looks and feels like the last game of the series . Just bring DLC's or Remaster it's easy enough to do and a solid job has been accomplished here.! Hot Pursuit is back with higher performance stats and better visuals some extra music tracks as well. .It feels quite nice to have this game remastered and in the end of 2020 made me feel like I'm back in 2010 reliving the original experience all over again. With Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit Remastered we get classic arcade racing refreshed in our Xbox libraries and they actually didn't change the original graphics they just made them better with what feels about the same with better controllers, hardware and televisions to display it on. Looks great on Xbox One and Xbox One Series X so you can't go wrong on this one if you were a fan of the original for sure.… Full Review »

It would have been great to change the frosbite graphic motor then, but why would we do that when we want to kill the rest of the respect players have for us.
