Jan 31, 2020Throughout my roughly three hours with Mosaic, I found myself constantly awe-stricken. The world is beautiful in its design and, though sparingly used, colors are bold and breathtaking. The sound design between BlipBlop’s constant dings of success and the haunting music that’s played as you simply go to work is superb. Krillbite Studio has done an amazing job at crafting an experience.

Feb 3, 2020It may be my inner-hipster talking but I found Mosaic to be a phenomenal anti-game. Even though it's a tough pill to swallow, the journey within is full of stunning visuals and some of the best audio production that I've ever heard in a game.

Feb 4, 2020The music where deep, desolate bass contracts with upbeat melodies of street musicians tells about hope beyond gloom. Occasionally, when giant feet trample you or you’re sent literally through a grinder, the game falls for some heavy-handed symbolism. However, a good story is often a collection of proven clichés and metaphors and Mosaic compiles them into a compact and meaningful package.

Feb 10, 2020While Mosaic is on the short side, what’s there is done really rather well. It get’s the message across well, not overstaying it’s welcome or labouring on a point. If you’re in the mood for a one and done experience of an evening, Mosaic will fit the bill nicely.

Feb 5, 2020While Mosaic is a good game, it’s hard to describe it as enjoyable due to its subject matter. It has the possibility to hit a bit too close home for some, but the overall message once you hit the end might be worth it. It is by no means a bad game, just very heavy handed when it comes to its subject matter.

Feb 10, 2020The Mosaic means to me that you can paint your own picture based on what you choose. If you choose to stay in your bubble, not taking chances or try anything new, you'll never grow and you'll stay miserable. If you choose to embrace what's around you, a whole other world opens up. With the glitches, UI issues and visuals aside, Krillbite Studios did well. The Mosaic is easily a game you need to try out and experience. As much as I want to keep playing Blip Blop, there's a whole world out there. Time to put the phone away for a while and do something different for a change.
