Dec 7, 2018A superb Metroidvania style platformer and an absolute blast for fans of Wonderboy. This was a long time coming. The devs knocked this one out of the park! I love this one so much I bought it for Switch, PS4 and Xbox.

Dec 4, 2018Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is a wonderful addition to the companies line up of games; but most importantly it improves on all previous games. I think if they keep this up, the company and franchise could see a massive break through in less than two years.

May 31, 2019Monster boy and the cursed kingdom is a truly great metroidvania/plattform game, that is essential for fans of the Wonder boy serie as well as admirers of plattform game. Compared to original serie everything from visual style to game play is greatly improved. It's a challenging game but most of the trickiest puzzles are optional.

Jan 22, 2019Simply put, I love Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, so much so that is has made my list of games that I would recommend it to people as must-play for those that are fans of the platforming genre. The art, the music, the gameplay and the overall challenge found here are all top notch, and in my opinion it is a game that reaches perfection in this genre. I am personally hoping we will see a continuation in the series and how it could grow into even more.

Jan 22, 2019The game is both playful and challenging, encouraging you to overcome the obstacles before you and keep the story moving. The franchise may have been overshadowed back in the day, but Monster Boy deserves to be up in the rarefied air primarily populated by Italian plumbers with a fondness for the color red.
