You play as the puppy Milo, and you find a tasty bone! But that bone is Cursed, and you're chewing releases the Evil King Old Skull, who is going to take over the world. So you decide to stop King Old Skull and thus your adventure starts. The game is played by navigating the map, killing ghosts, and collecting bones and keys. Silver Keys open Doors, Gold Keys open chests. There are several kinds of doors, some require you to complete a box sliding puzzle, others require a key or you to defeat all the ghosts in the area. Defeating ghosts can't be don until you find the football helmet which allows you to dash and head butt them. The game is obviously aimed at younger players, as the puzzles are simple, and the art style and music are cute and whimsical. The game is neither terribly long, or difficult, and most experienced players can push through the game rather quickly and easily gather the 1000G from the easy achievements. With the tiny price tag, this game makes for a great addition to the younger players' gaming collection and doesn't really hurt the wallet. Expand

The story is whimsical and sets the stage well. There are some solid elements included like keys, chests and collectible items. The puzzles and enemies are simple enough for the difficulty level that Milo’s Quest is aiming for. And its presentation is charming, vibrant and well done. This is certainly a game that the kids will enjoy. Unfortunately, there’s no real challenge for anyone else.

Milo’s Quest was a very short journey. As always with Ratalaika games, if you want an easy 1000g then pick this up. It’s cute and simple and has a different gimmick. There’s nothing stressful or annoying. It was a game that just worked, with simple puzzles and fun gameplay.
