    Miles & Kilo offers a colorful and, at times, exciting adventure. Its steep difficulty curve and the simplicity found in its handling sits well with its short-burst level design. However, its reliance on using irritatingly cheap tactics is bound to frustrate even the most forgiving of players. That said, Miles & Kilo does enough right to justify a recommendation, but it’s a recommendation that I can only extend to the patient fans of hardcore platformers.

    In Miles & Kilo there’s a funny story that accompanies the classic platforming action and I must admit that the story surprised because IIn Miles & Kilo there’s a funny story that accompanies the classic platforming action and I must admit that the story surprised because I didn’t expect it to be as fun and interesting as it was. All in all when I was a child growing up one of my most favourite genres was the platforming genre and still to this day it’s one of my most favourite genres because for me it offers you a fun and rewarding experience like no other. As you can imagine then I was very eager to get to grips with Miles & Kilo because after researching the game a little it became quite clear that the presentation side of the game had a retro flavour dotted throughout and it without a doubt gave the gameplay even more charm. Another thing that gives the gameplay more charm is the story that’s present and I must admit that it did make me chuckle during my time with the game. In terms of the gameplay I found Miles & Kilo to be a very fun affair for the most part, but be warned that the game can get quite difficult and the lack of a checkpoint system means you will experience a few frustrating moments along the way. Despite this though it still didn’t stop me from returning back to the game and I’m glad I did because there’s a decent amount of content and a decent amount of variety within that content. At the end of the day then whilst Miles & Kilo may not be the greatest platformer I’ve ever played before it still provided me with a lot of fun and enjoyable moments and I urge anybody who has a love of old-school platformers to give this game a try.… Full Review »
