When I recommend Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, it's because of its outstanding dynamic battles with randomized uruk Captains and Warchiefs. The Bright Lord undermines that greatness with a new power that renders those fights irrelevant, and focuses its energies on a big boss battle.

Touches the balance of an almost perfect formula, making this expansion the least interesting adventure that you will live in Mordor. And yet, this final battle is worth it.

Like Lord of the Hunt, the Bright lord misses a good chance to improve the original game. Avoid this unless you love to repeat once again some secondary quests in the same map as the original game.

Fighting still feels good, but the ring's power corrupts everything that made Shadow of Mordor special. [May 2015, p.96]

The environment in this game is very dark but how could this be different if the land is ruled by the Darkness. Bosses and Warchefts are 25+ power out of the bat so this game is more challenging. The missions are very satisfying. The fight with Sauron is what I waited for and it was epic! Full Review »

Loved it. The One Ring is a bit overpowered, especially because you have to charge it with Brands, and it's easy because you only have toLoved it. The One Ring is a bit overpowered, especially because you have to charge it with Brands, and it's easy because you only have to Shadow Brand, and then you get more arrows, although using Shadow things takes arrows from you, so it's kind of a loop that makes everything a lot easier, you don't need even to fight or use stealth. I didn't like the ending because I already knew what would happen, after all I played Shadow of Mordor's campaign. Also the story didn't match the story in Unfinished Tales.
Overall, everything was great and must give it 10/10.
    Sorry for my English.

In the Bright Lord, the uruks are really tough and the dynamic changes a bit. What you need to do is obtain orcs. Don't kill anyone. Make your influence bigger, make the One Ring stronger. The battle against Sauron is as beautiful as hard, especially if you use the One Ring power against him. Full Review »
