    I don't normally play this genre or games this length anymore (normal pace about 7 hours), it wasn't a buggy or functionally bad game, but I didn't find it compelling in the least and I can imagine in a day or 2 I will not even remember it.

    This is a cool game with a unique story. The combat is very simple but effective and the overall design of the game frantically running out of ammo is fun and engaging

    You seldom find a game that pulls you in as much as Metro 2033.
    That being said. The game doesn't do anything (other than immersion) especially great and you've probably seen everything in it already.
    There are lots of action segments which just don't work with a character such as Artyom. Or at least that would be the case with the Artyom we were presented with in the game. Much of the    You seldom find a game that pulls you in as much as Metro 2033.

    Much of the story was lost in adaptation and you never know what exactly you're doing until the story is over.

    One final thing:
    The way karma works in this game awful. I can't get the good ending since I didn't listen to every NPC and didn't interact with a guitar? That's bad.

    Verdict: Not worth your time if you aren't a fan of the novel or looking for great immersion.

    Rating:
    Gameplay: 2/5 - Average. Too easy even on hardcore. With stealth segments that trigger the whole area if you slip up once.
    Level Design: 4/5 - Great design for immersion. But could give you more choices.
    Soundtrack: 5/5 - Perfectly suiting for this experience.
    Story: 2/5 - Very weakly told. Too many sequences where you follow someone for exposition. If you don't read every note you'll be lost.
    Graphics: 3/5 - Average.
    Length: 4/5 - Good length.
    Replay Value: 2/5 - Not much other than different difficulties which aren't worth it.
    Enjoyment: 2/5 - Did not enjoy it much.

    Very atmospheric linear shooter that has aged a bit. The graphics are okay, the atmosphere is brought out very well by the music and presentation. Synchro was fine, only the voice of the main character, in the stories before each mission, annoyed me (RTL voice, or I know it from somewhere else).     Synchro was fine, only the voice of the main character, in the stories before each mission, annoyed me (RTL voice, or I know it from somewhere else).

    I found the story really cool, the "final battle" was so-so.

    I did not like the controls and the considerable lack of ammunition, although it was set moderately beforehand, as well as the fact that you hardly get any success in "normal" games.

    All in all a nice shooter.

    This game didn't quite gel for me. I really did love the scenario and the Metro environment was superb, but IDK why, it just didn't hit that ultimate sweet spot.

    It’s a good FPS game. The atmosphere is very well done and the setting is definitely an interesting one. The choice of guns in this game are pretty unique due to the setting, with each one feeling satisfying. The horror elements are done very well and the story kept interesting for the whole duration. The overall gameplay is pretty good but somewhat lacking by modern standards. The game isIt’s a good FPS game. The atmosphere is very well done and the setting is definitely an interesting one.     Weaker than the previous game. The story is much worse, as is the atmosphere. The FPS segment is thankfully still excellent. Be sure to play with Russian audio.

    SRB:
    Slabije od prethodne igre. Priča dosta lošija, kao i atmosfera. FPS segment srećom odličan. Obavetno igrati sa ruskim audiom.
