I picked this game up for free this month from the Xbox store. It's a game that has potential. Especially if you like the Marvel Alliance reboot game for XB1. At this point, you character is prevented from leveling up. And you can't unlock that until you earn enough points. Which at the rate points are unlocked, would be about the same time you get every single hero in the game to level 10. At which point you will either buy the points with real money or probably uninstall the game. Expand

What do you expect for a free to play game? I expect a game like this. Its fun, faced paced like the PC version. The leveling is good and the combat is fluid. I'm not a fan of the crafting system, definitely different from the PC on that (unless they changed the PC version). I also don't like the way their cash shop is set up and i've NEVER been a fan of those stupid random lootWhat do you expect for a free to play game? I expect a game like this. A giant but vacuous superhero battle frenzy that disappoints in many areas. [Sept 2017, p.85]

Marvel Heroes Omega counts as main claim of the great treatment of the Marvel universe, but the business model and content must improve to live up to the addictive gameplay of the title.

It’s worth remembering that Marvel Heroes Omega is free and if you love Marvel then I have to say you should give it a try. Once you buy into the grind and ignore the issues, it’s pretty fun to have a little go on here and there.
