Great game, mechanics and graphics are all still clean and crisp as expected. However, there are two cons, and each one cost the game a point:

1 - While they may have added a real deal deckbuilding mechanic to this game, they did so at the cost of Two-Headed Giant. Big mistake, especially for couch co-op folks like myself. My wife and I used to spend many hours slaying people online,

My wife and I used to spend many hours slaying people online, and it's gone. I can only hope they update it into the game.

2 - It is incredibly hard to get an online game. When there are no games, it will tell you so, however, if there is even a remote chance of a connection, it will cycle the search until you end it, or it throws you into a dead lobby that no players ever join. Definitely needs work.

This is still a solid offering for fans of the classic trading card game. This is about as close to Magic as you can get without actually dealing out the cards.

Paper armies are all the rage these days; this is just enraging. [Jan 2015, p.89]

Even with the expansion included, Magic: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2015 doesn’t offer enough variety and makes it too difficult to progress through the game without feeling pressured to buy cards with physical money.
