    Once again the presentation side of the game is absolutely brilliant and without a doubt both the visuals and sound design make things very immersive. Longshot has once again been done very well and it delivered an adventure that was not only fun but also intriguing as well. I was very impressed with the new inclusions when it came to the Ultimate Team because for me they’ve breathed new life into the mode. Without a doubt the gameplay in Madden NFL 19 is the best that the Madden series has delivered so far, which is impressive considering how good the gameplay was in last year’s game. The Real Player Motion is simply stunning and in a lot of ways it adds more fun and enjoyable moments to the gameplay. A training mode would’ve been a nice addition because the game can take some getting used to and I can see this being a bit of a problem for newcomers of the series. Does Madden NFL 19 do enough to get a recommendation from me? The Madden series offers improvements each year and as far as the sport’s games EA has to offer this is probably the most solid series of them all. Last year’s Madden was fantastic in my opinion and I wasn’t sure if they could improve on it because it was that good, but boy was I wrong. Both the gameplay and controls feel quite a bit better this time around and this in turn means the game is even more fun, which is great. As usual the game looks and sounds awesome and the little changes to the Ultimate Team breath life into the mode which in turn means the game has even more replayability so fans of the series can get even more enjoyment out of the game. Without a doubt Madden NFL 19 gets a massive recommendation from me and I’m very excited to see where they go next with this incredible franchise.… Expand

    This is the same game that came out last year, but with more micro transactions. The presentation sucks, everything about this game is ridiculous. They say the player movement is better; it is not. The halftime show is ridiculous, and they leave out all the highlights that should’ve been important.     Terrible... absolutely terrible. This game is clearly designed to generate millions in MUT mode through micro-transactions and that's all EA cares about. All other game modes have no polish whatsoever. There is so much wrong with this game, there are plenty of videos that can show you better than I can try to explain with words. Do NOT buy.

    IMO, the main mode that matters is Franchise Mode. MUT is a money grab. Longshot is a playable movie. Career mode has no depth.

    If you buy this game for Franchise mode, prepare to be disappointed. I skipped Madden 18 and Madden 19 is a slight improvement over 17. Everything is basically the same. There are improvements in player motions/animations. There are changes in    IMO, the main mode that matters is Franchise Mode. MUT is a money grab. Longshot is a playable movie. There are improvements in player motions/animations. There are changes in schemes/archetypes. And you can create draft classes. But overall franchise mode lacks so much depth when compared to NBA 2k. Trading could be more realistic. Stats could be more advanced. Why has Madden never tracked past team history when looking at player cards? You never know where players played in the past. No record of past super bowl champions? Not ability to customize current team jerseys logos ect..? All of this kind of stuff can be done in 2k MyLeague/MyGM. Madden franchise mode needs to get to this level. Otherwise it is some new rosters/animations (which is a given). And maybe a small gimmick feature like creating a draft class.

    Some other things that suck. The soundtrack is by far the worst in all of Madden. Not everyone likes hip hop. There needs to be variety. Why does my QB always fumble? This was the same issue in 17. What is the point of negotiating contracts if players won't budge from the original recommended numbers? Might as well just auto sign players. Why can't we auto scout? I think they forgot, or if they ever really knew, that this is a video game and it's the ONLY NFL licensed on the market...with the way this are creating this franchise, you would think they would have the game down after 20 years of making these games. With all that money and resources to back them up, they sure know how throw it all away. If they would use 10% of their brain power to create a REAL simulated football game (see Turn 10 for Forza... I know, different style...bare with me here)...when you program to create something that you're passionate about...you will create something amazing. Tiburon has NEVER created anything amazing in the 20 years of Madden. I guess they came close in 2004...but since then, they take features out, put new features in...act like new features are in even though they were in previous titles...

    I have bought every single Madden since 2003, and I say it every year, but this time it is at an all time low.

    Madden 08 and 09 were bad, Madden 25 was mediocre at best, and every Madden since 25 has been worse, but THIS absolute scam of a game his such a sharp decline that I didn't even know existed.     I've loved all types of sports games. Madden 19 is no different from previous Maddens, other than graphics and micro-transactions. I try my best to give every game a fair shake. Sure the core game play is fun but the Ultimate Team mode is Pay to win no doubt. It's lack luster when it comes to new content. There's nothing new or exciting when it comes to this game.     Again, Madden, who's number one focus is MUT. They remove systems then add them in years later and call them new. As long as we gamers continue to support it it will never change! Let us make a real change.

The animations recieved a much needed upgrade, and crowds look the best they've ever been in a madden game. The commentary is improving, the sounds on the field are realistic, and the overall presentation is solid, with the execption of replays, which often times leave you on an awkward angle where you can't even see the play.

    Without question, the most infuriating mode is Home Coming. The mode is absoletely a joke, lasting a mere 3 hours without completing an NFL season (again). This mode is an embarrasement to sports gaming and needs to be done, from the ground up.    … Expand

    At this point, Madden should just be free. You're basically paying for roster updates and that is it. No new improvements and most the money Madden makes is in MUT. Not worth the money imo.

    Garbage. Unbelievable how buggy this game is...players morphing everywhere and it is not fun at all. I am not buying it...gave it 10 hrs on EA access hoping i would like it...nope. There are no improvements, EA i am done.

    Music is all rap crap.
    A glitch here or there however it just came out so expect patches.

    This is the best madden in 5 years. There is a definitive difference in graphics and gameplay. They've made Ultimate Team a lot more fun now with being able to upgrade your players through training. The only thing I would change is to make you feel more in control in CFM. You can only work with one team where in past maddens (EX: Madden 12) you could control all 32 teams.

I am playing Madden 19 on a 55" 4K HDR (Dolby & HDR10 Compatible) TV and it's visuals are stunning. If you're on the fence about buying this year's Madden, then your wasting time you could be playing this fantastic game. A+++++… Expand

For $60 Madden 19 is definitely worth the purchase, in fact, I actually went all out and put $71 into the game and purchased the hall of fame edition. With the hall of fame edition I was able to receive extra bonuses to start this year’s edition of Madden Ultimate Team. I thinkMadden 19, the newest installment of Madden for the Xbox One has so far definitely lived up to the hype for me. For $60 Madden 19 is definitely worth the purchase, in fact, I actually went all out and put $71 into the game and purchased the hall of fame edition. With the hall of fame edition I was able to receive extra bonuses to start this year’s edition of Madden Ultimate Team. I think Madden comes out at a perfect time of the year, right before Call of Duty, Battlefield and FIFA. It is a perfect way to spend some time before the rest of the big games hit the market for the year.
    My new favorite feature is the fan favorite celebrations. Getting into the end zone is always the end goal but being able to now rub it into your opponents face by using your favorite celebrations that you see on game-day so very rewarding.
    The new year of Longshot lets you make your own decision and play through games on your road from high school to the NFL. It is a great new feature implemented a few years ago that gives you complete control of your own destiny. It is a great first person few of the hardships and excitement of rising to the top in the NFL.
    Ultimate team on Madden though is where I spend the majority of my time. You start from scratch and have to grind your way through many grueling solo challenges to upgrade your team. To even get any of the big names of the bat you would have to spend some money. Once you have completed some solo challenges and upgraded your team, it’s time to test yourself online against some of the best. By making your way through seasons you can put yourself on top of the madden world.
    Exhibition allows those people who maybe don’t have Xbox Live the ability to play offline with their friends. If you do however have Xbox Live you can play head to head with friends online, all across the country. Exhibition always you to practice and has set drills to help you increase your skill level quickly.
    Overall I think Madden 19 is definitely worth the money, if you are as addicted to Ultimate team and the EA franchise this is a game you can’t pass up.    … Expand

If you actually play the game and know a thing or two about football you would no that this is actually a good game. The game play is excellent, when you play this game it feels like football.     Overall this is a great game. The mode that I play the most is Franchise where I enjoy controlling a team from all aspects. I would like to control only my player but the problem I have with that is you are unable to negotiate your contract. I think that would increase people's desire to play in that mode.     This years game is by far the most broken game in years. This is what happens when you let a company corner the market on a product. I give it a 10/10 at being buggy and glitchy. Franchise mode was supposed to offer a fresh experience and it has done nothing but hold back progress.

    If madden 20 is this way, i'll just pass on spending money.

    Better than the previous two games, but barely. The game play is fun, and franchise mode is just as good. The game has good modes as well. Franchise is the best part. The teams are great, the draft is good, and season is fun to play. The player ratings aren’t always accurate, but some are very spot on. Recommend this game.

MUT is basically the same pay to win formula you might watch some BS youtube channel that tries to convince you of others but their lying through their teeth EA needs to shut down on Ebooks hugely cause it makes Online modes unplayable unless your in a good CFM that they shut it down MUT might flash you some stuff every here and their but to be honest the awards rarely ever fit the grind 162 solo challenges for a Wentz and some elites problem is this can take days and thats if you grind the thing straight through non-stop its like MyCareer but worst cause least MyCareer offers to skip the BS and just say buy VC while MUT has where you cant buy MUT Coins you have to "buy packs" which is basically a scheme that instead of just giving you what you want they rather you keep trying to get it until you either get lucky or made enough off of selling the cards you pull this game mode also suffers from speedsters being godly Tyreek Hill is a god in this since in MUT theirs not many fast DBs yet.     Worst Madden since Madden 94. Take your money and give it to someone you are passing in the street it will provide better entertainment and be far more enjoyable for you. They have failed to fix the bugs from the past 2 or 3 versions. Tech support is worthless, they direct you to boards that are monitored but questions are responded to in a timely matter (if at all).

    The game sucks balls! There are 4 game modes and most of them aren’t fun. The play now is only fun with friends at your house. Franchise is bland and very repetitive. Long shot, the story mode, is the most boring **** I’ve ever played. And ultimate team is pay to come win and is filled with spammers. The CPU on your team is retarded.     Garbage Simulator 19 is great if you love garbage! Oh, sorry they named it Madden 19 - easy to mistake when the game is complete garbage. Literally no changes from year to year, EA just rakes in the money without investing ANY time or effort into the game. Warping defenses, horrible AI, and just crap mechanics make it actually anti-fun to play this at all. You will leave frustrated.

You'd have to legit pay me to get me to reinstall it on any system whether it be XB1/PC/PS4/PS5 doesn't matter one bit. Even when Andrew Luck is in his last official NFL year playing active football (you get absolutely no f*cking pass for your braindead monopolyon the market) , you have theEasily one of the worst Madden game of all time and in serious contention to be the worst.     This game is the worst garbage I have ever played. It is painful and the defense in this game is straight up broken... There is no offense in this game, even if you try super hard.

    Madden NFL 19 isn’t exactly breaking new ground when it comes to EA’s football franchise, but it is a step in the right direction. The additions to Franchise and Ultimate Team modes provide a more complete experience that appeals to more players, and versus play is more seamless this year.

    If you're an absolute die-hard, I guess you’ve already picked up Madden NFL 19, but otherwise I'd warn you to hold off and continue playing last year's version. There's nothing special about this year's edition, and with all of the technical issues, it's a major bummer.
