In Lunch A Palooza players enter frenetic food fights as one of eight dishes, pushing other delicacies off the table in single player or multiplayer for up to four people. Pepper your character with power-ups to spice up your unique attacks. When dishing out the pain anything goes, from serving side dishes to sweep up the competition, to setting up push traps to clear the table for the next sitting. Remember, the dinner table arena is a hazardous place for food with flying enemies that always trying to nab a piece of you.

Do I recommend Lunch A Palooza on Xbox One? Eh … not really. It doesn’t do enough to warrant the relatively steep price tag. it’s too rough around the edges, with annoying glitches, overly-unpredictable physics and dropped inputs aplenty. You and a couple of friends will probably wring a few hours of fun out of it before things get too repetitive (or frustrating) to be enjoyable.

I was quite looking forward to a new local multiplayer party game to add to the rotation; sadly, Lunch A Palooza won’t be filling that void. There’s a neat idea here, but the hard to decipher combat, wonky physics and general lack of, well, fun mean that we’re best off warming up some of our leftovers for now.

And it's available for Xbox One As well as many other platforms. The game basically feels and seems something like foodroyale? Like last food standing game modes include the full on free-for-all 'Main Course' where players have five lives, the 'Royal Buffet' free-for-all with unlimited lives and a time limit, and 'Side Dish' team battles. You may also play the chef's special mode, 'King of the Cloche' to determine which player can achieve "cloche domination". I wouldn't spend more than a fee minutes personally to play this game, but if you’re tired from playing all the other battleroyale games here's your “foodroyale” to add as a side dish for your Xbox One library.
