    Lunch A Palooza
    sadly not much fun
After playing and loving cake bash, im excited to get my hands on any sorty of competitive food game, and with lunch a plaooza looking like smash bros meets cake bash I was excited to hop in.. sadly there isn’t much fun to be had here…
This is a local 4 player competitive brawler where you choose your snack, all with their own feel and play style/attacks and you fight on tables across 4 different modes, a free for all last snack standing mode, a team based mode, a king of the hill type mode, and a battle royale type mode where youre a new food each time you die and the goal is to die the least ammont of times before the time is up.. and really all of these modes are just hectic button mashing that never really feels satisfying.. not one bit.. it just isn’t fun.. when you win you don’t feel like it was on purpose, and when you lose you kind of believe it as your character seems so light that the tiniest hit just sends you flying off of the screen… I do appreciate the care into making these charatcers feel unique as ell as the care into crafting each unique table you battle in.. but these tables just don’t come alive enough and again, the gameplay isn’t here ti ake lunch a palooza a game worth recommending, its pretty mediocre andbarely feels like a compettiitve game
    I give Lunch a Palooza
    a 4.5/10
