May 30, 2017Overall, Lock’s Quest is an exceptional example of how to do not only a phenomenal remastering, but how to tell a story that is supported by the gameplay. If it weren’t for the difficulty one could face because of the isometric view and the awkward conversation timings, this game would be the perfect little title. Throw in the fact that it has really improved on the DS version, and you have a game that nails the Active Tower Defense genre, right to its cold, cold heart. It is definitely one for both Casual and Expert gamers, though it might be substantially harder for the most casual ones out there, even on the normal difficulty setting.

Jun 7, 2017Lock's Quest is a proper tower defense videogame with a little touch of classical role gameplay. The pixel art graphics and the cenital view adds to the game a unique charisma for his genre. His originality and addictive formula make Lock's Quest a mandatory purchase for all the fanatics of this type of games.

Jun 5, 2017A very deep RPG and Tower Defense experience; Lock's Quest is a great "survivor" of the DS ages. Good game, great length and a very old style-pixel style.

Jul 5, 2017There’s definitely fun to be had in Lock’s Quest, it’s just unfortunately locked behind a wall of frustrating control issues.

Jun 7, 2017Without rather some serious improvements or a sale that brings it down to a more reasonable price, Lock’s Quest is probably not worth your time or money. The developers needed to do more when bringing it over to Xbox One.
