    LEGO The Incredibles is a fun, focused LEGO game that ditches a lot of the extra fripperies, and is all the better for it.

    With the shortest roster of LEGO games in recent years, and based on a franchise which is probably the less popular of all seen in Traveller’s Tale games, this game works well only as a product for The Incredibles fans. The rest of us had better wait for DC Villians to fill the gap.

    The Incredibles makes its debut in LEGO form with this one, and that alone should entice anyone who is enthused for either brand. The bugs are annoying and the voice acting is just about as bad sometimes, but the open world crimefighting, Pixar cameos, and perfect pairing of these two brands makes LEGO The Incredibles a fun family game, even if it's not quite super.

    TT Games' new adventure ends up being a bit shorter than we'd have liked, and it looks like it's now targeting only the younger audience, offering little motivations for gorwn-up players other than that of playing it with their kids.

    Never surprising, LEGO The Incredibles is repetitive and the building mechanics are now dusty, to say the least. But there are 8 playable characters and they are all very different, making it a fun game especially in co-op.

    I must admit that I enjoy the LEGO game’s and I often find myself playing them even when children aren't around. That being said the LEGOI must admit that I enjoy the LEGO game’s and I often find myself playing them even when children aren't around. That being said the LEGO game’s are best enjoyed with the family in my opinion because the humour and fun included in these game’s can be off the charts at times and seeing my children laugh and enjoy what’s happening on the screen fills me with quite a lot of joy. The new LEGO game making it’s way to consoles is LEGO The Incredibles and I was really looking forward to it because I loved the film’s and thankfully after sinking quite a few hours into it I love the game as well. Even though I’ve sunk quite a few hours into the game already I can’t see me or my children getting bored of this game anytime soon because in terms of content the game has a huge amount of varied content for you to sink your teeth into. The world in which the content takes place in is also something I don’t think will become boring anytime soon as well because exploring every nook and cranny is both fun and rewarding at the same time. Whilst the game never stops being fun throughout you will however have to deal with a few technichal issues along the way, and whilst none of these issues are game-breaking they can be a little frustrating from time to time. Thankfully though I was able to look past these issues thanks to the fantastic mechanics that are in play. For some reason these different mechanics feel better in this game than the other LEGO game’s and this without a doubt makes you end up having even more of an immersive experience. Another aspect of the game that feels better in this game than some of the other LEGO game’s is the combat. The combat never becomes tedious throughout your time with the game and that’s mainly because defeating enemies feels satisfying at all times and performing different moves is awesome. You will however have to get used to the fiddly controls when in combat but thakfully this doesn’t take long to get used to. Something I’ve always liked about these game’s is the presentation side of things, and thankfully that remains the case here. Visually the game can look brilliant at times and when the visuals combine together with the sound design you end up getting the true LEGO feel at all times, which is great. At the end of the day as far as LEGO game’s go LEGO The Incredibles is definitely up there with the very best this series has to offer so far in my opinion. In a way this game has breathed some new life into the series of game’s and fans of these game’s will thoroughly enjoy what this game has to offer and in the end it gets a massive thumbs up from me.… Full Review »
