Generally a fun game. This is not a first person game but, a top down (2.5) type of game. I have not had a chance to play the co-op mode (up to 3 additional local or online) but it looks like fun. In co-op mode you can work together and then turn on your fellow adventurers - seeking their death for the treasure and points. Apparently, adding more players just doesn't make the same levels harder (e.g. the standard more monsters to deal with) it actually rearranges the levels (but, like I said I have not played co-op yet) Another nice feature it that Osiris will allow to change both the time of day and current weather you are playing in and in turn these affect the type of enemies that you have to deal with. However, if you had a choice between this and Diablo (the hack and slash king) I would chose Diablo. Osiris does have more advance and rewarding puzzles but, it's story is not as complete and fulfilling as Diablo III. Expand

This game has some pretty good elements, but it's not the best Tomb raider of all time. I wouldn't rate this lower than a 4 but also not higher than a 7. I'll give this game a solid 6/10.

An excellent combination of combat, platforming, and puzzle solving. This spin-off doesn't follow the traditional Tomb Raider mold. Don't let it's top-down perspective fool you into thinking it's some of Diablo clone. You won't be going around blasting through a constant stream of enemies and picking up the loot they drop. Those elements are here, but in very small ways. The core tenets of the main series are still in place. While there are regular enemy encounters, they are spaced out enough so that the puzzles and platforming take center stage.

The game is a blast whether you are playing by yourself or with up to three friends. It's an incredibly smooth and well made experience. The boss fights due tend to fall back on that irritating trope of spawning standard minions to get in your way, but it was an easier thing to put up here than it is in other games. While the game was made with co-op in mind, the single-player experience is strong enough to stand on it's own. In fact, the way the game tailors the dungeons to fit the number of people onscreen makes it feel like you're getting two games in one.

With plenty of post-game challenges and hidden content scattered throughout the world, there proves to be quite a bit of content in Osiris' temple. It could also prove to be a nice breath of fresh air for the series. Fans who want to spend more time with Lara in a new way now have that option without having to worry about the main series going through some unwanted changes. It's one heck of a spin-off that I would love to see return for a third entry at some point in the future.

Good game to play in co-op mode. Interesting mechanics and a combination of platformers and puzzles from Tomb Raider games.

Stay well away from this if you can't play in co-op. Even then, the best you'll find here is a game that is painfully average. [Issue#120, p.69]

There's little that pushes it beyond Guardian of Light, while the co-op is feeble and plagued with technical issues. [Feb 2015, p.78]

Temple of Osiris is in fact a replica of a previous gameplay model. The lack of any unique features provides fun for one, easily forgettable evening.
