    King of Seas is an interesting proposal, with good gameplay but with a big problem in the conception of some missions.

    Overall and the combat and sailing mechanics of King of Seas are what work, and whilst things feel a little slow at times, that’s never too much bother. But the story and missions are sorely lacking and there never feels like there is much point in your actions; beyond the grinding.

    King of Seas looks great and has some fun ship-to-ship combat but is let down by its underwhelming exploration and basic story.

    King of Seas is solid, but unremarkable. Lacking the diversity of actions and depth of simulation required for something within its genre. For those craving a pirate game it will definitely entertain, but maybe not for very long.
