    Excellent Game. Fast paced exciting Multiplayer. Every weapon is well balanced, as are most of the maps. Competitive Arena for those who like that, Big Team Battle and Warzone who like larger matches.
    Spawning sometimes is a little funky on maps like Deadlock: 1 guy spawns on the opposite side of the map from his team. No overpowered weapons, game is genuinely fun to play.

    Halo 5 is a fun game, but not the best in the series. It has a fun multiplayer system, as well a fun new abillities, design, and fun levels. But there are some flaws, like NO SPLIT SCREEN, what is up with that. Plus the Campain is really dissipointing, it is not what the trailers told us, they lied. But that was not the reason why I enjoyed this game, i enjoyed it because of theHalo 5 is a fun game, but not the best in the series. It has a fun multiplayer system, as well a fun new abillities, design, and fun levels. But there are some flaws, like NO SPLIT SCREEN, what is up with that. Warzone is the best part of the game. It's where you are teamed up with 12 different players, and what you have to do is to capture bases, while going after objectives against the covenant. Warzone assault is where one team defends their outposts, while the other tries to capture it. Arena has team arena, slayer, swat, free-for-all, big team battle, and a new mode called breakout. Breakout is simple, it is where you have to take the flag to your base, or just kill the enemy players. I was dissipointed that it did not have infection, but I got over that. It still has forge, which is still fun. One more thing, the multiplayer has this things called req packs, which is where you earn things as you play the games multiplayer. There are some packs that you have to buy, so be aware of that. For weapons, you can customize your skin, but I think you have to buy the stuff to do that.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Being a huge Halo fan since the day's of the original Xbox, it pain's me to only give this game a 7. Let me explain why it has received this score.

    Let's talk about the pros.

    First off this game has the best graphics of any other game in the Halo series, it really shows off the next gen technology. This game has a complete lack of glitches, bugs, and frame drops. Also the addition of new weapons, vehicles, and armour sets is another one of the things that make this game fun.

    But the one thing that always brings me back to this game is the new Warzone multiplayer game mode. Let me explain Warzone to you in the simplest way possible. Warzone is a MOBA style first-person shooter game mode that may as well be the greatest addition to the whole Halo series. Warzone also has some of the biggest maps in Halo history can hold 24 people in a server.

    The new REQ cards are a new addictive feature. REQ cards are bought with REQ points which are earned through playing online games. Each time you open a REQ card you can earn new weapons that can be used in Warzone, new armour, new skins, and much more. That is why it is always fun to see what you earn next.

    Now let's talk about the cons.

    This game has a thing wrong with it that people though would of been fixed after Halo 4 but sadly the developers didn't take any notice of what people wanted.

    One of the worst problems with this game is the lack of split screen, which is pretty much what made the other Halo games fun to begin with. The only way you can play the campaign with a friend is if you have two Xbox One consoles and two televisions together.

    Another problem is the lack of game modes. This game has a lower amount of multiplayer game modes compared to the other Halo games, and most of them only compelling of 4 v 4.

    The last thing I would like to talk about is the campaign.

    Now I have mixed feelings about the campaign. I like the idea of bringing back some of the old characters from the Halo series, but I don't like the idea of having three other AI teammates helping you. Sometimes they can get in your way or get killed trying to revive you. But I like the design of the campaign levels with beautiful environments and tons of weapons, and enemies to kill. But one thing that annoyed me is the lack of Master Chief and the too much attention to Locke. And I feel like the story could have had a bit more effort put into it.

    First off I was very disappointed with Halo 4. Other then the great graphics I thought the game was meh. It was trying to be too much like COD. Halo 5 on the other hand went back to it's roots. It finally feels like a Halo game. The only reason I gave this game a 9 out of 10 is because the campaign isn't that great. Multiplayer however is amazing! Finally rankings are back.     this is a great game. But a lot of play for Loka. The multiplayer is just wow and there are plenty of good buns. But Halo Reach was better. However, I must pay tribute to the 343. Too much pathos, but the developers managed to insert it properly. Also added a lot of weapons and a jerk. Very cool and unusual maps from and each weapon is easy to shoot.     First things first the campaign, it is a departure from the usual Halo story telling and whether you enjoy that or not will be a matter of personal preference some will love it some will hate it.

    Multi player is where Halo shines (with the exception of 4) the PVE/PVP warzone mode is very nice addition to the pantheon of Halo multiplayer and offers a nice change of pace to the    First things first the campaign, it is a departure from the usual Halo story telling and whether you enjoy that or not will be a matter of personal preference some will love it some will hate it.

    Multi player is where Halo shines (with the exception of 4) the PVE/PVP warzone mode is very nice addition to the pantheon of Halo multiplayer and offers a nice change of pace to the competitive style of play you will find in Arena, the addition of dedicated servers has done wonders in mitigating latency, (not cured it) but easily the smoothest online experience on current gen consoles to date, and the effort 343 have gone through to create a balanced competitive online Arena should be applauded.

    The inclusion of micro transactions was somewhat controversial but so far has not been an overly negative experience and the dual system with req points mitigates this real money intrusion somewhat.

    Overall if you are buying Halo 5 for an offline or local multiplayer experience you may left feeling disappointed with series staples such as split screen being missing, however if like the majority you are looking for a finely balanced Arena shooter then look no further Halo 5 represents a return to form for the franchises multiplayer after a lacklustre outing in the fourth installment.    … Expand

    this game definitely pulled me in with its gameplay. The campaign made me feel like this wasn't going to be the same kind of halo game as the ones I fell in love with. But the multiplayer did its job and kept me playing I originally gave this game a 7 but all the new stuff....gametypes, maps, and the awesome ar pistol starts made me bump up my score. I really hope they keep it coming...this game definitely pulled me in with its gameplay. The campaign made me feel like this wasn't going to be the same kind of halo game as the ones I fell in love with.     This is one of the best game on Xbox One . Graphics in this game is awesome as in all Halo and storyline is amazing as in all Halo . I love Halo Series (Special Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Halo 4) Halo 5 not so good as Halo Combat Evolved, 2 and 4 . Halo 5 on a par with Halo 3 . All Halo are amazing and Halo 5 is very good sequel for Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 . OneThis is one of the best game on Xbox One . Graphics in this game is awesome as in all Halo and storyline is amazing as in all Halo . I love Halo Series (Special Halo Combat Evolved, Halo 2 and Halo 4) Halo 5 not so good as Halo Combat Evolved, 2 and 4 . Halo 5 on a par with Halo 3 .     Su jugabilidad cuenta con la misma base que caracteriza a cualquier halo, mas la adición de las "Habilidades Spartans" se obtiene jugabilidad dinámica, compleja y divertida con viejas y nuevas mecánicas que dan una sensación de mezcla entre lo retro y lo innovador, agregándole una amplia configuración de botones para cualquier estilo de jugador.

    Excelente calidad gráfica, buenos acabados, e increíbles sonidos durante el gameplay, sus cinemáticas siempre sorprendentes, algo que siempre cumple un juego de esta saga.
    Un Halo siempre viene acompañado de buena música y este no es la excepción, no es la mejor banda sonora pero sin duda esta al nivel.
    Juntando sus gráficas junto con el sonido y agregando unos mapas mas grandes y un entorno vivo hacen de este una gran ambientación.

    Su multijugador es simplemente un "Éxito rotundo" bastante divertido y gratificante, se siente como un halo pero innova en sus movimientos, bastante igualado, mucho mas dinámico, mayor variabilidad de armas, buen sistema de emparejamiento y un nuevo modo que busca innovar llevan a este videojuego al siguiente nivel, convirtiéndolo en "Un juego que hay que tener".
    Cuenta con una rejugabilidad ejemplar, gracias a todos los retos, recompensas y personalización que te ofrece, (Sistema de Liga, Armaduras, Armas, Aspectos), la única desventaja son sus micro pagos, pero queda muy alejado de los llamados "Pay to win" ya que en los modos tradicionales no influye y te encuentras con un enfrentamiento igualado.    … Expand

    Tengo que resaltar que si valorase al producto como salió inicialmente le habría castigado mucho la nota, sobre todo por su campaña tan corta y en mi opinion a un nivel muy inferior con respecto a sus antecesoras por no hablar de la ausencia de la pantalla partida para disfrutar de la misma.     The Halo series has been around for a while now. Its competitive but fun multiplayer has crept itself into many of our gaming hours over the years. Do not take this frantic multiplayer lightly as a casual pickup and play game, it will eat away your day without you realising. Halo 5 is no different in this sense.

    Customisation

    Over the years the Halo series implemented many customisation options. Halo 5’s customisation is a step above its predecessors. From a variety of different armour looks to its colour choices, it has something for everyone to make your look unique. The new aspect in this iteration of Halo is the ability to change colours of your weapons. You can spend quite a bit of time perfecting your layout before you know it.

    Although it is not in-depth compared to games like Fallout 4 and Doom, there is enough here to keep you occupied. And 343 is always expanding upon this with their updates adding to their ever growing list of customisation options.

    Multiplayer Diversity

    Halo 5's multiplayer modes are diverse. It has something for everyone. For those craving fun big team warfare there is a dedicated playlist featuring the usual big team battle mode and of course its Warzone mode.

    Then there is the competitive arena playlist for those planning to climb its addictive leaderboard. I have spent many hours trying to get to Diamond League and once I reached it, there was an inner sense of pride to keep hold of my position and challenge myself to climb higher. The weapons are not only well balanced but laid out strategically on its Arena maps, ensuring the control of these weapons vital as your team progresses towards victory.

    Every month or every season as they call it, the rank resets and you are rewarded based on your final standing. This can be in the form of modded weapons, armour sets to Requisition packs which I will discuss further later in this review.

    For anyone craving big frantic battles that combine AI opponents as well as players, its 12 v 12 Warzone mode will not disappoint. Players battle to reach a certain amount of points to win the match. This can be achieved through killing opponent players or killing bosses that spawn around the map. Do not underestimate the AI however, as they are a formidable foe and can more than hold themselves when surrounded by players.

    When they spawn it’s a frantic battle by both teams trying to get the final blow. That is where I felt the challenge of killing the AI boss to contribute towards your team’s points could be exploited. Imagine your team fending off waves and waves of players and AI alike to kill off the boss. You spend every bullet and muster every able body to focus their skills and firepower onto the boss, only for an opponent sniper to take the last shot and obtain all the points. Immensely frustrating. And yes I have done that many times myself.

    Forge-tastic!

    The inclusion of Forge where players are able to create their own maps and challenges for the community still stands strong. The best of these user created content are carefully selected by the developers and included in a dedicated playlist sometimes. Dedicated servers help the online experience further. In my many hours of game time I have rarely found it to be laggy and finding matches takes less than 10 seconds.

    Graphics

    The graphics are well done here. Halo 5 uses every ounce of power from the Xbox One system and outputs it in glorious form. The slick design of each item is unique, bold and creative. The multiplayer stages are well designed with every map sporting a distinct look. From the Fiery industrial core of Molten to the icy chasms of Antifreeze the team has been creative with their approach so far.

    Reward packs

    REQ packs and Req cards are Halo 5’s reward system achieved through give aways, playing matches and reaching milestones. It will award all of the cosmetic items as you open packs such as armour variations, character stances and various weapon and vehicle upgrades which can be used in Warzone playlist. It can be bought with real money or earned through game time. Cards have different rarities from uncommon to legendary items.

    Halo over the years has grown into a behemoth. Upon its release there were not many modes or maps which made the game feel a little stale. However 343's dedication and promise of free 1 year DLC has been delivered. With it the Halo 5 community is growing bigger and stronger. Other games should take note of Halo 5's successful business model. Its current state is a joy to behold with double the maps and game modes alongside customisations and unique weapon upgrades, making this Halo probably the best Halo so far.

Gone are days of the Arena shooter's and Halo's utter dominance as younger players favor kill streaks and Call of Duty clones(which is why Halo 4's multiplayer happened... *Shudder) But for those who are still looking for a fantastic and balanced Arena experience, forHalo has always been a mythic game series. Gone are days of the Arena shooter's and Halo's utter dominance as younger players favor kill streaks and Call of Duty clones(which is why Halo 4's multiplayer happened... *Shudder) But for those who are still looking for a fantastic and balanced Arena experience, for those looking for a fantastic forge experience, for those looking at the more modern warzone gametype, or for a super fun single player campaign Halo 5 has it all.

    The story is a little lack luster, but the game makes up for it with stellar gameplay, free DLC/Support, dedicated servers, and 60 frames per second (a first for Halo game). Honestly, I can't understand why this game doesn't have a higher user score. This game is easily a 10 out of 10, at worst a 9 if you ding it for story writing which isn't quite a strong as previous Halo games.     Great game, Solid multiplayer, 60 FPS in campaign, i'll just give it 9/10 cuz the campaign time is short and Microsoft lied about the fight between Chief and Locke, no one kills each other, they just punch each other and that's it, no more fights between the 2.

If I was able to do decimal points, I would raise it from a 9 to around a 9.2 just for this amazing support. Overall, I really liked the game, and I think it is definitely worth a play, especially for fans of competitive multiplayer.    … Expand

    En cuanto a contenido no falta y más con todos los DLC free que han metido, hay horas y horas en el juego.

    Solo me queda decir que tengo una tremenda expectativa con el siguiente y que están obligados a dar un salto mas en lo argumental para me la única carencia de este juegazo.

    Great addition to the franchise. I've been a critical HALO fanboy for a while and I was super happy with this release. Still playing campaign and multiplayer. Also flows fluidly from Master Chief Collection.

    This is the best halo in the franchise in terms of gameplay,now story? unfortunately that's the weak point, but still, this game has unique game modes, frequent updates,new maps almost every month, custom match public search and many more stuff, this game is a must buy if you own an xbox one!

    Halo 5 is still inferior to the main trilogy from Bungie. But this is much better than Halo 4. The plot is no longer so delusional, and the division of missions into 2 detachments is an excellent plot move. The graphics on Xbox One X are amazing. I advise everyone in the Halo Infinite preversion.

    interesting story, varied campaign and great multiplayer. What more could you want from Halo? 343 decided to add a micro transaction aspect to unlocking new outfits and equipment, but it just cosmetic and not required to win. I personally like it!

    Halo 5, ha sido muy criticada por gente "pipera" gente que no ha jugado al juego. Pero aquí hemos venido a decir la verdad. Halo 5 tiene una gran campaña es verdad que no es la mejor campaña de la saga, pero como amante de halo, la historia personalmente me ha gustado. Y el multijugador es el mejor y más grande de todos lo halos un juego redondo.

    Su historia es una patada en los huevos para los fans, pero hablando objetivamente es un juego muy completo con una campaña buena, y un multiplicador adictivo. 343 va por buen camino, y tengo fe que en su tercera oportunidad lograra llevar a la saga devuelta a lo mas alto.

    Halo 5: Guardians isn’t without its flaws, but its still an amazing game. The faults of the campaign are made up for ten fold with the great multiplayer and new gameplay improvements. This game is a must play for Xbox owners.

    Really great game definitely second best after Reach. I like these new features like thrust, ground pound, zoom on every weapon it is just great. Campaign is really good and fun, but in some parts there are too much enemies. It feel like it should be played only in coop. When you get know enemy then even solo legendary is easy. PvP multiplayer isn't enjoyable for me but Warzone firefightReally great game definitely second best after Reach. To those who say it resembles a cartoon and the music sounds like something you'd hear in a Mario game, I say you're on crack. My biggest complaints in regards to the campaign is the length, the amount of damage required to kill some of the new enemies, and the reuse of certain game assets. The new art design isn't the best either and makes me long for the old even more. My biggest complaints in regards to multiplayer is there simply isn't enough maps for warzone! Needless to say, Halo 5 has done what no other Halo title has with forge (and with forge, the new custom games browser), increasing replayability ten fold. If I had to rank this game with the other titles, I'd say: Reach > 2 > 3/ODST > 5 > everything else. In the meantime, we'll just act like 4 never happened...… Expand

    O game da sequência aos acontecimentos de seu antecessor, após a missão inicial controlando o novo protagonista, Spartan Locke, vemos em seguida um Master Chief visivelmente abatido, porém após uma visão envolvendo Cortana, Chief termina sua missão, e, ignorando todas as consequências vai atrás dela, e assim a tão aguardada perseguição se inicia. sobre a trama, é algo espetacular que muda todo o destino do universo, porém não vimos várias coisas divulgadas por trailers, e essa perseguição do Locke ao Chief se mostra muito desinteressante, havendo apenas um confronto em todo o jogo. O game traz 15 missões que alternam entre o Master Chief e o Spartan Locke, sendo duas delas apenas com diálogos e exploração, todas as missões contam com mapas extensos e lindos, com um level design impecável, permitindo que sejam realizadas diversas estratégias diferentes contra os inteligentíssimos e até carismáticos inimigos, os gráficos são épicos, os mais bonitos que já vi em um console rodando a 1080p e impressionantes 60fps cravados. A trilha sonora é uma das mais lindas que eu já vi em um game, todas são brilhantemente produzidas e conseguem passar a melhor sensação possível de cada situação em que se encaixam.
    Nós temos um esquadrão que pode nos reanimar durante um tempo caso venhamos a cair no combate, o esquadrão no geral tem uma IA razoável, funcionando muito melhor quando recebe ordens que podem ser dadas por você a qualquer momento.
    No geral, o que tirou um pouco do brilho de Halo 5 foram os trailers divulgados pela 343, que não refletiram o produto que entregaram, mostrando até mesmo cenas que nunca vimos durante o jogo inteiro e datas incompatíveis com os fatos narrados pelo jogo.
    Com relação ao modo multijogador, eu sinceramente não acho que tenha jogado o suficiente pra analisar em detalhes, porém posso dizer que é absurdamente completo, com diversos modos bem diferenciados e uma extensa variedade de mapas, e que me agradaram muito, com uma ótima conexão e sendo muito competitivo. até então não tive nenhum problema quanto a isso, quando sentir que tenho mais propriedade, atualizo falando mais sobre.

    The multiplayer is top notch and the arena gameplay feels simply amazing and satisfying. The warzone mode adds a unique MOBA twist to it and it just feels satisfying pulling a come from behind victory.

The customization is inconsequential, but nice, and lies between enough req packs to require a dedicated experience. A competitive circuit adds more depth to the game, as you feel more recognized when accomplishing high standings in classics like Slayer, as well as the mind-bogglingly addictive Breakout. For more casual players, Infection and Super Fiesta are brilliant modes that are executed on a scale unattainable by the Source modders. This game is the reason Halo should exist, and it honestly is the current magnum opus of the series, as it doesn't rely on nostalgia and "then state-of-the-art" gameplay.     The multiplayer is fun, but Warzone is not that great. Micro transactions were not necessary and the REQ system is bad.

I wouldn't mind having a "classic physics mode", or something, but I think the abilities very much have their place and are a welcome change. The gunplay is still very much classic Halo, and the abilities add a much faster pace to the game. Even though the game is much quicker, the game still has core Halo mechanics. Shields, grenades, and spawns all work nearly the same as any other Halo, and each map still has specific power weapon spawns as well as classic weapons such as a Halo 2 BR and a CE magnum. I think the game is still worth playing even though there is no split screen. If you are looking to get back into competitive Halo, this one is definitely worth a buy.    … Expand

    The bad:
    You don't mess around with the Chief and his team, this leaves a sense of estrangement from what was seen in the trailers in a frantic hunt for Locke vs John 117. The Knights that came out as big enemies in Halo 4, here they return but to Harder Deputy Boss mode than in the previous game.

    Lo Meh !:
    No, Halo did not die in Reach, many criticize Halo 5, without having played it. The Bungie-Lovers do not accept that Halo 5, although it is not the story that will change the world or the way you see video games, is a great pillar of multiplayer, a game that after years of coming out has a very active community both in cooperative and competitive games, both to hang out in Warzone or laughing like crazy in Action Bag, or by sharing modified content and maps in Forge. An impossible accomplishment like "Seriously Something" is missing like in Gears of War Saga. It is not the infecting garbage that many who have not even played it say.    … Expand

    The multiplayer is also the best the series has ever been, going back to that Arena style battles that we have all grown accustomed to with past Halos while injecting new life with all the new game play additions.

    Halo 5 is a great addition to the franchise with it's new emphasis on game play and overhauled multiplayer collection. Although it does stumble in the storytelling department and odd omission of split screen, we can forgive these minor gripes in the long run due to a strong showing in most other departments of the game...    … Expand

Last month I finished MCC again (except for ODST, a bit slow when you're used to being a Spartan) and after that jumped straight into Halo 5. For me I found the story really fun to play through and the new mechanics in the gameplay were a bit refreshing. It gave me kind of a Star Wars Republic Commando feel with how you can control your fireteam. Although I was a little disappointed that there was no split screen co-op as that was why I bought it (so I could play with my brother). Overall a good and fun game!… Expand

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Halo 5 is an alright game. While it does have its problems (especially with its story) it manages to still tell a tale that keeps the player invested while providing excellent gameplay and multiplayer, along with an outstanding forge.

    (cliffhanger sucks by the way, just going to mention that)
    Halo 5's campaign struggles mainly in its pacing and idea execution. While not being as weak as Halo 4 or to some degree Reach (still a good game), Halo 5 forces you away from the Chief and tries to make you like Locke. While yes Locke is a badass, it takes until the end of the story for you to give a **** a major flaw in its story. Cortana as a villan however more so the gameplay were stellar. The times you play as chief in his 3 very long missions which actually almost add up to the time played as Locke, have very crucial story and character moments, focused on 4s ending and team chemistry.
    The gameplay and level design kept me and my partners not only engaged but excited. Ferocious landscapes and occasional cinematics while opening up new worlds was extremely exciting. Everything felt smooth and the art style blended too well with enemies sometimes, but that's ok. It was a fun experience for my party and holds much replay value.

    While the multiplayer certainly isn't the original trilogy, it is a much better version of 4 that includes both casual and competitive game modes, along with some new ones such as the infamous Warzone. Its **** fun as hell and ill definitely come back to it. For forge, just **** great man, just play it yourself.
    But microtransactions? Really? Pitiful **** thing to have in your game cosmetic or not. I will be taking a point off for that.

    Halo 5 was an amazing experience, all be it with flaws that fans new and old would be able to recognize. A mostly compelling story with mostly charming characters but an annoying cliffhanger similar to Halo 2 but arguably not AS bad. Overall should you play this game, hell yes! While it may fall mid-tier and divided the fanbase like Reach, in my opinion its a great game!

    obs: teve muito boss repetitivo e a inteligencia dos seus companheiros são horríveis e morrem muito fácil e tive em situações em que eu reiniciava a fase para que ninguém morre-se

    It is a complete and solid game with some changes like the campaign that you dont play only with Master Chief, and the game has a fantastic multiplayer. In conclusion, it is a Halo game, so is a must have.

    Well thought out game, with awsome visuals, continuing the story in a more aprochable way. Although i felt like the game had something more to give that was missing, Maybe some DLCs. An Awsome game the same.

    Ótimo jogo, gráficos incríveis, por mais que possa se tornar um pouco repetitivo tem uma ótima jogabilidade. A história é super interessante. O jogo funciona muito bem. E por estar no game pass de graça vale muito a pena dar uma chance

    The actual combat is an improvement from 4, although it still feels boring to fight Prometheans all game and your ammo is still super limited, forcing you to use Promethean weapons. The good news is that these weapons feel way better than in 4, but you don't get to spend much time using the classic UNSC weapons. Either way, you'll miss fighting the more interesting Covenant, who were just a more varied enemy. You also only get to play as Master Chief for about an hour out of the 5 hour campaign.

    Multiplayer: This is where the game shines. There's something for everyone. Warzone Firefight for PVE is a bit light, but still pretty fun. Warzone PvP is the most fun I've had in Halo multiplayer since 2004, but it takes forever to find matches, as it's unranked.

    The other arena modes are pretty much what we've always had, but faster paced. The new movement mechanics have caused some controversy among other long-time Halo players, but I don't mind it.

    343 have gone out of their way to try to create an e-sport out of the game, which I don't think is the way to go. Regardless, it has created a skill gap that makes it harder for newer players to get their feet set. All things considered, it did a lot of things better than Halo 4, but definitely left you feeling like you wanted more on the single-player side of things.

    The multiplayer saves this game, in my opinion. And if you don't mind a short campaign that's just a set up for Halo: Infinite, it's totally worth getting this game on Gamepass and enjoying the multiplayer.    … Expand

    I played slot multiplayer and just beat the campaign and I really enjoyed it. I wouldn't say it's the best halo game but it's still really good.

    Halo 5: Guardians is okay. Its campaign is rubbish, but the multiplayer is solid thanks to the foundation it’s built upon. Warzone is a really enjoyable experience, and while combat is still mostly about tossing grenades and hitting the melee button, the whole Requisition gimmick adds some much-needed flavor to proceedings.

    The latest Halo is a big deal only for hardcore Halo fans. For me the single player campaign was unbearably pompous and despite 1080p and 60 fps the visuals are not as breathtaking as they once were in Halo 4. The game builds a solid foundation for Halo 6, but it’s not one of those games you absolutely have to play. [13/2015, p.48]
