    I cannot explain how horrendous this game is I finished the Story in 4 hours 4 HOURS no split screen makes it even worse! I bought an Xbox one ONLY for this game and they give me this crap? The multiplayer is fun at times. this is not the "Best Halo" its just a rushed out game. Thanks for ruining Halo, 343.

    Halo 5 Guardians is somewhat of a side step. While the multiplayer is simply the best I have played to date...its story lacks so much what made the original games so amazing. Its not a bad campaign by any means. They way its told...just bluntly sucks. It really makes you wonder what the writers were really thinking. And you really don't care for Locke...which is kinda sad because he seems like an interesting guy.

    However, despite its many criticisms...the story does one good thing...it actually gets you hyped for halo 6! Its just really bad story telling. It feels too much like Cod which made me upset because the difference between Halo and Cod for me was the lore/story. I used to replay halo campaigns soo many times because I loved its world. Its characters. Sadly..halo 5 guardians will be the first campaign i won't play again. No replay value. Zero and don't even get me started on how short it was. 5 hours it took me to beat on normal. Halo 4 took me 12 hours. False advertising by microsoft's end.

    Halo used to suspenseful and mysterious in its story telling. Halo 5 has none of those. Its fast. Quick. Each mission feels like a distraction...to prolong the finale. The last 3 missions were great..really. They felt like old halo games. But the first 12...they felt like spartan ops missions. Just distractions so at the end..they can finally tell you what the freak is going on. Actually I take that back...spartan ops had better story telling. Halo 2 is no longer the worst campaign in the series. Actually...halo 5 makes halo 2 actually seem really good. That's how bad it is. And for those who say halo 5 is another halo 2...where halo 6 will make you like halo 5 are delusional fanboys. Because in all seriousness...halo 5's campaign isn't really needed. The last 3 missions could have been a dlc campaign...that's how pointless the story was.

    But one thing I will say...get halo 5 for its multiplayer. Its mechanics feel fresh and natural. its really amazing and great game to play with friends. I really can't praise it enough. I love warzone. Warzone is really a blast and its amazing how fast the momentum of the battlefield can change by just a few boss kills. And have no fear about people loading up on the req packs. Just because I purchase a rocket launcher at a req station...doesn't mean another player, boss, or what not is going to kill me before I get to use it. And if you die before you use it...tough luck. Gotta wait to build up more req points to buy another one.

    Team arena and slayer also feel like the old halo games, but spiced up. The new mechanics make it feel fresh. Spartan charging and pounding people are very effective and help a great deal. Assassinations are also back. One thing I do enjoy about slayer and team arena are how the map announces when a power weapon is going to be thrown into the battlefield. The maps turn into a power struggle to gain these weapons to control the battlefield. Very well thought out. I have not played breakout but what i can see of it...looks very much like search and destroy.

    Bottom line: If you are a halo fan like me...its worth the 60 dollars. Even if the campaign is not the best and not even close to being solid in my book...the multiplayer is worth the 60. That much I can tell you.    … Expand

    The game is simply amazing, it's the next gen Halo I was expected, very smooth with 60fps, awesome graphics and a very fluid system combat, excellent storytelling and see the arbiter and buck back was very very nice! It's a 9/10 for me because the campaign is a little short (16 hrs in legendary) and no splitscreen, but when forge come out (and others game modes) it's going to be an 10/10,The game is simply amazing, it's the next gen Halo I was expected, very smooth with 60fps, awesome graphics and a very fluid system combat, excellent storytelling and see the arbiter and buck back was very very nice!     Lives up to the Halo name, Story might be bit difficulty to understand at first but its not bad. The game play is great and it looks beautiful, really beautiful, one of best looking games I have seen ever.

    I was really impressed from the technical side. The game runs flawless and loading times are minimal. Another thing they really improved is the matchmaking. In Halo MCC you got kicked out of matchmacking many times after finishing a match, this problem does not seem to be present anymore.

    I do not understand how some people give the game 0s. I think some of them did not even play the game, as some of them only mention generic cons which have been presented in reviews on youtube.

    To compensate for the haters I am going to give this game a 10.

    Amazing entry of the Halo series. The multiplayer is top notch and the arena gameplay feels simply amazing and satisfying. The warzone mode adds a unique MOBA twist to it and it just feels satisfying pulling a come from behind victory. It really is a game mode for everyone. Attack bases, defend bases, go after AI, vehicles, on foot . . a game mode with everything.

    game is really fun, sharp, fast paced and interesting. very smooth and tight controls. the gameplay tweaks are interesting and take a little to get used to but fun once you do. the campaign is interesting and may require replays if you're not a buff on the lore. multiplayer is smooth and trouble free. love warzone modes. reminds me of a futuristic battlefield game in a way.

    Has a few problems here and there, but ultimately it's still a great Halo game. Campaign falls a little short, but it was still a blast to play. Multiplayer respects the originals while still pushing the series forward giving a good balance of old and new.

    343 смогли подняться до уровня второй части франшизы от банжи. В игре хороший сюжет с отличными сюжетными поворотами, хорошая картинка с великолепным арт и левл-дизайном, самый умный ИИ в серии и ещё много-много геймплейных нововведений. Здесь просторные и продуманные локации, подразумевающие использование скооперированных действий с применением спецвозможностей спартанцев, а так же с343 смогли подняться до уровня второй части франшизы от банжи. В игре хороший сюжет с отличными сюжетными поворотами, хорошая картинка с великолепным арт и левл-дизайном, самый умный ИИ в серии и ещё много-много геймплейных нововведений. Здесь просторные и продуманные локации, подразумевающие использование скооперированных действий с применением спецвозможностей спартанцев, а так же с напиханным в труднодоступных местах оружием и техникой, которое сильно помогает на данном участке карты. Так же в игре просто прекрасный мультиплеер, лучше я ещё нигде не видел: идеальный баланс и сведение автоприцеливания к минимуму делают своё. Ну и новый режим зона конфикта выше всяких похвал, очень масштабно, очень эффектно, очень круто. Теперь с нетерпением жду следующую часть франшизы и надеюсь, что на третий раз 343 сделают ещё лучше, в 5 раз, того и гляди, reach зппилят свой)… Expand

And there were moments when the plot felt forced. But the campaigns mostly awesome level designs, weapons, and enemies combined with the new spartan abilities made the campaign a blast!     Absolutely amazing!! Yes im a massive halo fan have been since the CE but this halo feels fresh. It takes all the right steps forward with new mechanics and graphics. I should give this a 10 to xounter the people giving 0s. Serious wtf no game gets a 0 grop up. But im giving a 9 the only place it drops the ball is no split screen and i would of liked to play chief a bit more.

    My death ratio in multiplayer is so bad it's almost genocidal, but I still come back for more. Furthermore, whilst the campaign storyline is not fantastic, the mechanics within are second to none.     This is my equal favourite Halo (with Halo 2).

    If you love great gunplay, a cool story and the best MP this side of the Infinity....then this game is for you.
    Just be ready to know your lore prior to playing, that is my biggest advice: it's pretty dense from the start.

    10/10 - Would buy it for Warzones alone (it's that good, and great dedicated servers for Aus/NZ).

    The game is clearly the best Halo there is with it being the first created ground up for the XBox One. Graphics 10/10 an I'm a graphics freak and own the best GPU's on PC and on XBox the graphics are excellent. Sound - again awesome but super awesome through stereo headphones.

If you just play mindless shooters, then you probably won't understand the expanded universe and the new characters.     The best multiplayer in the Halo history, warzone is epic, the arena mode is so balanced and returns us to the competitive Halo era, also the history is great and has epic moments, playing with the whole blue team is amazing

The spartan abilities are not OP, Aiming down sights gives you zoom but no accuracy bonus, no flinching when you're shot, just good old halo classic gunplay. It's setting the state for a brand new trilogy in grand fashion if youVery good shooter, a vast improvement over halo 4 by ditching the loadouts and getting back to the core game play with some added tweaks to make it feel fresh. The spartan abilities are not OP, Aiming down sights gives you zoom but no accuracy bonus, no flinching when you're shot, just good old halo classic gunplay.     Great game. Graphics, sound, networking opportunities - all done at a high level. Fast and dynamic multiplayer, fun co-op. A worthy continuation of the magnificent series.

    Titled Halo 5 (remove the obvious story link), I see this game as more of a follow on from the original trilogy. The multiplayer is fantastic fun, very fast and easy to get very immersed in. The campaign is also great, and very challenging for players like myself who love legendary difficulty!

    My only gripe currently is the lack of game modes (WE WANT GRIFBALL!), but I'm led to believe they will be added in at a later date.    … Expand

    Fantastic entry for the Halo series. The campaign is something you can really bite your teeth into and get behind. The two perspective of Fireteam Osiris and Blue team make for compelling story telling which piece's the plot together nicely. The multiplayer is a hoot as always; absolutely mental, chaotic and fun simultaneously. Would recommend, nice job 343.

Halo 5 não tem splitscreen mas conta com servidores dedicados, então você joga normalmente com seus amigos, eu duvido que hoje em dia realmente alguem use splitscreen, isso é argumento de sonyta, masMelhor FPS atualmente, pessoal que ta dando nota 0 ou 5 deve ser tudo sonysta vindo aqui baixar a nota do jogo por pura inveja, já que só tem aquele lixo de killzone pra jogar no grill deles. I've been playing for just one day and I'm already hooked. At first I was sceptical about being forced to spawn with the Assault Rifle / Magnum combo as I wanted to be able to start with the Battle Rifle, however this limitationI was ready to dismiss this gain as I am so psyched for Battlefront's release in less than a month, I almost cancelled my pre-order, but now I am so glad I didn't. I've been playing for just one day and I'm already hooked. At first I was sceptical about being forced to spawn with the Assault Rifle / Magnum combo as I wanted to be able to start with the Battle Rifle, however this limitation forces you to pick up any and all guns you stumble across and make them work for you. This makes the gameplay more varied and overall more enjoyable. Warzone is something of a novelty for now, but it has potential. Playing in the arena is what it's all about for so many users and 343 have done a very good job at making a balanced multiplayer experience. The new Spartan abilities all add something to the game without being overpowered, the system is a much more refined version of the armour abilites from Halo 4, which I always thought was broken, especially the inclusion of jetpacks which are thankfully omitted from the newest installment. This is the best in the series since Halo 3, and that's saying something.… Expand

    This is the best Halo for me! Amazing gameplay, great story and new characters, Huge and strategic scenarios. Warzone is a blast, Arena is much better than in Halo 4 and even Req. Packs are good!! 343i did a superb job and I couldn't be happier with my purchase.

    After the beta I knew 343 had something going here. Now that I've played Warzone I know for a fact that Halo is in good hands. The smoothness of the game coupled with the "feel" of Halo 2/3 makes for an unbelievably awesome gaming experience. And as for the story? Even half baked its 10x stronger than what Destiny put out on day 1. Those cinematics though, totally stunning.

The new gameplay mechanics fit so well, it's hard to imagine them not being there before like hover-jets, dash, and pound. The story is jumpy, but that's kind've a Halo trait. The first Halo literally starts with them making a "random" jump into space and landing next to a Halo. lol "random".
    Multiplayer is flawless, and I mean perfect. From the awesome new gametype including NPC's and bosses to the regular slayer, and the best lone wolf type since Halo 3. SO campaign might score a 8, but the multiplayer is a 12.
    And personally, Locke aside, watching Chief's development under 343 industries is nothing less that moving. We finally see a man. It started in H4, and almost had me tearing up from the beginning. Maybe you have to have been there from the beginning, but when Locke told Chief that Cortana wasn't his problem anymore and it was Locke's, and Chief responded, "Like hell she is," I died.
    And to all 80 something people who literally gave this game a 0, meaning it's literally the worst game in creation in all aspects and there's nothing good at all, go back to your PlayStations and stop searching Halo 5 on Wiki and spouting your hate.    … Expand

    Campaign is very criticized but I think it is above average. Great scenery, action packed, cool characters, great variety in missions, etc. The only thing Halo 5 lacks is split screen, but I'm still giving it a 10 because everything else works great. Forge (which has been upgraded heavily) and Big Team    Great Halo experience!

    343 should be very proud of themselves, easily the best multiplayer experience that I have played this gen, the beta clearly paid off, as it is running like a dream online :)

    currently doing a solo legendary campaign so far, I am hooked.

    look forward to playing online with everyone :)

    The audio quality and visual eye candy are enough to keep me immersed in an otherwise typical Halo gameplay outing. I usually stick to the solo Campaign but the fluidity of Halo 5 may draw me in to the multiplayerverse once I've completed some of my backlog of games. Well done, 343 Industries!

The game looks fantastic, the story was a huge step upThis game was exactly what I was hoping for. The game looks fantastic, the story was a huge step up from Halo 4's (which I personally barely remember), and overall it's just fantastic. New weapons, new designs for returning weapons, as well as some alterations to a weapon's core mechanics to make them better. Case in point, the Suppressor's shots now lock on at close range. This is especially helpful against Prometheans, as it tends to target the weak points on their shoulders, chest, or back, depending on if you come at them head on or flank them.

    Multiplayer is a blast too. With all the new mechanics and no more custom classes for default Slayer, it's a solid blend of old and new Slayer. The maps are considerably varied and fun, the requisition system adds an interesting twist to leveling up and earning new items. Yes, there are microtransactions for a couple dollars to buy silver and gold requisition packs, but the only items you can get from this affect Warzone, not Slayer, so you don't have to worry about Slayer becoming Pay-to-Win. Hell, it's barely even Pay-to-Win for Warzone, because you can easily rack up enough requisition points for a gold pack just by playing the game, so it's really only there for the lazy or impatient. The only items received in requisition packs that can be used in Slayer are customization options and experience/requisition point boosts. Everything else - weapons, vehicles, and power-ups - affect Warzone only.

    The sound design is solid, every shot feels and sounds powerful, and the characters are phenomenal, too. The campaign focuses primarily on Spartan Locke Fireteam Osiris as they track down Chief and Blue Team, and only play as Chief and Blue Team for three missions, but I enjoyed Locke and Osiris so much that I don't even care. As much as I love Chief, it was nice to have a different lead protagonist in a main Halo game. The added mechanic of being able to direct troops was nice, too. I could draw the fire of an armored target, such as a Hunter, and maneuver it between myself and my fireteam, then order them to open fire and shred its vulnerable back. Or focus on a target that has me pinned down and I can't get a clear shot on. It allowed me to be more clever in my tactics rather than just blast everything and huck a few grenades for good measure.

    All in all, 10/10. I absolutely love this game, and I'm extremely excited for the sixth installment in a few years. Good thing I've got a solid multiplayer experience to keep me occupied until then.    … Expand

    I know people will be pissed off, Yeah, changes are hard. But playing the same game over and over (Halo 1,2,3,4 Reach etc etc) was really ruining the game.

    It's not the Halo game that I personally wasn't looking for, but Halo 5 offered great visuals, fun gameplay, and awesome multiplayer at 1080p, 60 fps. Campaign was alright, but I have to wonder why Master Chief only gets 3 missions out of 15. Regardless, the game offers mobility and exploration to discover hidden intels, weapon cache, and better angle to attack from.

It's one of my favourite halos yet, the stores awesome with none stop action and it leads to what could be the most intense halo ever but the end is amazing as a standalone story. the graphics are great at showing the next gen power. The weapons look and feel great especially with 60 fps which never drops. The only thing that I wished had been different was our time with chief I wish he was featured more in the game along with blue team but never the less I love this game online is great and working they way it should war zone is great if your looking for an outstanding first person shooter with a great story definitely pick up this game… Expand

    So Fun, Smooth & Tight. Halo 5 is a masterpiece in design and execution. Moving and gunning mechanics are top-notch, Warzone is super addictive & the campaign is riveting. Even the UI is slick…you can really tell that 343i put a ton of love into this one. I’m already looking forward to all of the post-launch support coming our way. This is hands down the best FPS I have ever played.

    Excelent game. The only negative point is a weak narrative on the campaign but the gameplay is superb. The multiplayer, the most important thing of the Halo series is great, the best since Halo 2-3 better than Reach or 4 for the matter

    Gameplay is top stuff. In the campaign, you always have a squad with you. They work really well, but as with all AI, something may go wrong - 99% of the time though, they work just fine. Being able to give them orders is also very helpful - you can make them pick up power weapons, use vehicles, hold a position and more. In terms of multiplayer the gameplay is very well balanced - all the weapons are useful. The more lethal guns are trickier to use, so it is a game that rewards skill. Learn these weapons well, and you can really do some damage. Also, the matches are always close, with teams only 5-10 kills apart, so every match is intense.

    The campaign experience is superb - if you know about the lore. If not, it will be a bit confusing. Good level design, good story, good gameplay - this is an excellent campaign. I would consider taking off a half point MAYBE for the fact the story might need a touch of familiarity with the lore. It is still none the less, a very entertaining campaign, and the vast majority of the story makes sense, with or without the knowledge of the lore.

    Warzone is just amazing. That's all there is to it. 12v12vAI. Earning req packs to customise your spartan and get cool gear for the warzone mode. Warthogs and ghosts and wraiths and scorpions and everything just going hell for leather killing each other. An absolute masterclass of how multiplayer should be done.

    Overall, a great game, really good campaign, fantastic multiplayer, definitely worth the buy. The promise of free DLC and the prospect of forge dropping in December leave even more to look forward to. Overall, the game truly deserves a 9.5-10/10.    … Expand

    Campaign: I haven't finished it yet but am very close to completion. The story so far is very good. Regardless of the limited Master Chief portion its still really good but has fallen just short of a masterpiece. As it relates to Halo 4 its a little bit longer and requires a bit more attention.

    Multiplayer: Multiplayer has and always will be what draws me to Halo so its important that this mode be really really good in order for me to give it a slam dunk review. Luckily the multiplayer is so good I can't begin to describe how impressed I am. Warzone provides a breath of fresh air to the slayer/btb/swat multiplayer modes which can still be found in the Arena section. The playing card system is still a little weird but doesn't draw away from the experience at all.

    Graphics: AMAZING. Nothing else to say.

    Sound: The weapons sound a bit different and the enemies sound really good. If you have surround sound you should pump it through your speakers to get what is in my opinion one of the best sounding games on the planet.

    Controls: The controls took me a little bit to get used to. They feel a little bit looser than the controls of more recent Halo games (Reach and 4). This isn't to say they are bad at all but the seasoned veteran will probably need an hour or so to get used to the loose control style. I don't dig aiming down the sights as much as I did in H4 but its still pretty good.

    Overall: 10/10 its everything I expected and more. I am really happy with my purchase and you should be too. If you are a CoD fanboy or haven't ever really liked Halo I doubt you will this time around, no sense in even sinking the dough into the game, But if you love Halo you will love this game for sure. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys sci-fi shooters. Don't let the negative reviews quell you, its absolutely worth the price tag and will provide hours of fun.    … Expand

    Now, the multiplayer, Lord have mercy, the multiplayer is the best I have ever played... Ever! Graphics 10/10 an I'm a graphics freak and own the best GPU's on PC and on XBox the graphics are excellent. Sound - again awesome but super awesome through stereo headphones. It's very complicated and confusing if you're not up to date with it but then again the game does have a big 5 on it so you should know better than to skip any of the entries. Tho its lacking more maps for warzone and many classic game modes it's quite enough to keep you entertaining until the loads of free dlc arrive. Overall I give it a 9.5. Although it's not perfect.     Best Halo game so far, as a long-time player. Greater controls, aim on every weapons, spartan customization, online modes, and obviously the campaign are all astonishing. I pre-ordered 2 games in my life, and this was one. One I absolutely don't regret, for I was playing at 12:01 on my Xbox as soon as it came out.

The campaign is a bit short (7.5 hrs on Heroic for me, solo), which is a negative. Had the marketed focal point of this Halo game been explored more, this would have been hands-down the best Halo ever made. As for the multiplayer, it's good. Compared to the campaign, you can feel a bit of drag in the movement systems. They're seemingly slowed a bit, so it might take you a little while to adjust. Once you've spent enough time on this side of the game you will feel more adjusted. Speaking of adjustments, 343 definitely tweaked the aiming system of the game. It doesn't have that nice gliding snap-to aiming of Call of Duty nor does it have the more precise feeling of earlier Halo games. 343 have apparently made the ADS (aim down sight) function require practice before mastering. That's fine, but it took me a week to really get the hang of it. Now I do fairly well in MP. The new REQ system acts like Titanfall's burn cards, earned through all multiplayer and awarded through card packs that are earned through achievements on the battlefield. It's a cool system. Someone that doesn't go all-out on their best cards at a moments notice will can store up quite the arsenal and change the battlefield single-handedly in some cases. But the REQ level system put into play during the games themselves prevents rare cards that are clearly more powerful than 95% of what's available on the battlefield from being abused. So there's balance. There's also a small micro-transaction option to quickly attain more REQ packs, but this only ups the number of cards you can pick up. They don't change the game landscape as everything is random (so you could spend $25 and only pick up a few really good items/vehicles to work with). These micro-transactions are probably a big part of why the DLC for Halo 5 is all free. That's right, not a single dime will be spent getting new maps, game modes, etc. Speaking of those things, the map rotation is a little light @ launch, but amazingly 343 Industries has already readied a map pack for rollout 3 weeks after launch. These kind of regular DLC packs are fully expected and are partially community-based through Forge creations. The first DLC pack is bringing in the Big Team Battle on top of a few new maps. Warzone is where you play the REQ cards, a 12v12 battleground that mixes in some computer enemies that can help a losing team rally when getting tossed around player-to-player. It always keeps a team in the game until the very last point needed is scored. Arena is your 4v4 variant and, surprisingly, isn't the strong suit of this game anymore. Heavy competitors will still lean toward the smaller player sets, but Warzone commands the most attention as you can take up to 11 of your friends along with you. In the end, Halo 5 is a good game that missed a few marks from making it an amazing game. Critics averaged around an ~85 metascore, and I think that's where this game belongs. It stands out in a season of big-name shooters (Fallout 4, Black Ops 3, SW Battlefront) as one of the better options (obviously, Fallout 4 is going to edge out Halo). I really had to hang with the game for a bit, but once I got a fireteam of 5 other friends together to hit up Warzone, I was glad I purchased this game. It won't keep me from thinking "what if", but there's still one more Halo game to prove that 343 Industries have always been capable of carrying the Halo mantle. Perhaps the greatest mystery and the biggest opportunities is thinking about what comes next for Halo once this story is settled?… Expand

Which are guaranteed to happen with halo. The multiplayer is the best since halo 3. Absolutely phenomenal, balanced. Competitive. We back.

    All the reviews about this game are very mixed. But the population and fan base to Halo is very different to other fan bases fro other FPS games. All i can say is that you will have allot of fun playing this game and even more with friends.

    Wonderful game, people that say the graphics are bad I have to disagree there are a few graphic glitches (2 in the whole campaign) that make it look bad , but that is like for 1/2 seconds in the whole campaign.

    The game itself gameplay wise is amazing, both on campaign as on multiplayer. The new Warzone system is fun and is a good change. Most of the negative reviews on here (if not all) are people that complain about lack of split-screen or a poor story. For someone like me, those have no effect at all. The gameplay in the multiplayer is really quite great, and the movement is quite smooth, even with clamber. Sprinting is balanced by not allowing shields to regenerate while sprinting, and ground pound is hard to pull off.

    From a pure multiplayer standpoint (especially if you're like me and focus more on competitive multiplayer), Halo 5 is actually surprisingly great, in my opinion. I could not care less about Big Team Battle or the lack of split screen because that's not why I play Halo. If you play Halo for these reasons, I feel bad for you guys because it's a real shame considering those definitely are core aspects of Halo in the past. However, I am writing this for those that really only play FPS games for the competitive multiplayer.

    Gametypes and Maps:
    The classics are still there, minus oddball (this will probably change). King of the hill has been replaced with strongholds (sort of like domination from cod or three plots, but you have to hold two plots to gain points), and the new Breakout mode is really hit or miss for some people. I personally don't like it much, but I may as I learn the maps and weapon placements more. It's quite competitive though. The maps are alright, and that's always a pretty subjective thing. I personally think coliseum is the great map for this game, but others are great as well.

    TL;DR: Halo 5 is a great game from the competitive multiplayer standpoint. The ranking system is a nice compromise (and it's decently fun), the gameplay and movement are smooth, and the shot registration is great. Breakout is really hit or miss for some people, and the maps are DECENT, but we'll see what the new maps bring. It's a nice change of pace, and it's a great shooter to own for any FPS gamer on Xbox One that wants a competitive game to play.    … Expand

It did not have enough closure(and i know they try to set it up for the next halo but still). Only other thing i can nit-pick is graphics and textures. They are not as good as halo 4 was. Lots of jaggys and the waterfalls look absolutely horrendous. They returned to the roots of halo multiplayer: simple and competitive gaming. No loadout BS. No jet packs. NO armor lock. None of that. If anything they made it even more addictive to play because of great additions such as the short evade, charging, melee, and ground pound. Cant say enough about the multiplayer, especially warzone. It is so nice to play a game that was strictly designed for the Xbox One rather then being an upgraded title that is also on Xbox 360. The graphics are stellar, the gameplay is addicting as hell, and it does a great job honoring the past titles. If you are a fan of Halo, heck if you are a first person shooter fan, you owe itI just started playing Halo 5 last night and I am blown away!     Where this game really shines is the multiplayer. It is the most fun I've had in multiplayer since I bought my Xbox One. All the new abilities bring a high-action and fast paced multiplayer that has not been seen before in Halo. The game, for the most part, is well balanced and the multiplayer is stable. I've been dropped from games a couple times, but nothing out of the ordinary for an online game. Warzone is fun, but I can't say much about it because I've spent so much time in arena! A side note about Warzone, IT IS NOT PAY TO WIN. Every time you rank up you get a pack, every time you get a weapon commendation you get a pack, and you are able to buy a gold pack about every 6-10 arena games depending on your performance. Those claiming the game is pay to win don't understand how the game works.

    In conclusion, the game isn't perfect. However, if you enjoy Halo, if you appreciate a story that isn't all about chief, and if you enjoy a fast paced and action packed multiplayer experience, buy the game. I love it, and I think if people would actually give it a chance, they would love it too.    … Expand

    Great multiplayer due to dedicated servers and smooth 60 FPS. Ranking system makes the game worth playing for competitive players. There will also be free DLC maps released over the course of the game's lifetime.

    This game is fantastic. The multiplayer runs smooth and the campaign is interesting. Had lots of fun playing as Locke and you cant go wrong with Nathan fillion. Didn't have any connectivity issues with is amazing considering the track record with games this year. Sucks that some people have given it a zero. I think the consensus is that you will either really love this or hate it.

    Excelente juego, la campaña para disfrutarla al 100% debes buscar todos los datos y calaveras, excelente historia mejor que las que presentaba Bungie en su tiempo lo de 343i se siente la profundidad de la trama y no solo disparar como loco. Multijugador muy bueno sigue siendo Halo a pesar de los cambios nada que te cueste trabajo acostumbrarse

    From the little I've seen of the multiplayer, it's very fun. I played a Warzone match that surprised me with just how balanced it was. With REQ (Requisitions), boss and AI enemies, and a large, evolving map, it would be easy for it to devolve into a **** but it is incredibly well done. I'm also very glad they made SWAT a highlight; it has always been my favourite Halo game mode.

    Now, even though I give the game a solid 9 for great campaign and excellent online, I need to lambast 343i for their omission of split-screen. I have been quite upset that I can't play this with my roommate, as we have played through every other game, and I have heard the sad stories of many others who feel like they've lost something that helped connect them to friends and family. The decision to omit split-screen for a 60 FPS framerate is, in my opinion, absurd. This 60 FPS movement has gained traction out of nowhere, for no purpose, and frankly I'm sick of it. I couldn't give two **** if The Last of Us 2 is 60 FPS, and the same goes for any other that has been or will be announced. When you leave out such a core feature from your game to please your publisher with ammo for their marketing, you need to look at yourself as a developer and think again. If you stop advertising 60 FPS, there will be no riots. There will be no pushback. No one cares. It's a gimmick, and an excusable one until it starts making your games less fun. I hold out a strong hope that both 343i and Microsoft will see the error they've made here, but until then, shame on them for ripping out a major organ of the Halo series' body.

    A perfect Sequel for the Halo Saga. Halo is still Halo. The Gameplay, Story and movement are superb and multiplayer is a big step in the right direction. Arena for E-Sport and Warzone for a more casual experience.

    O halo mais completo de todos. Tirando sua narrativa um pouco aquém aos anteriores, nos outros aspectos principalmente jogabilidade e multiplayer evoluiu e muito.

    Halo 5 is a major step in the right direction. There are a few minor hitches with spawning mechanics in multiplayer, and weapon balancing, but overall the Multiplayer is perfect 10/10. As for Campaign, the story is amazing, the gameplay is great and the Co-op is flawless thanks to Halo 5's Dedicated Servers. Visually, Halo 5 is amazing, looking better than most games released to date.

    Halo 5: Guardians is okay. Its campaign is rubbish, but the multiplayer is solid thanks to the foundation it’s built upon. Warzone is a really enjoyable experience, and while combat is still mostly about tossing grenades and hitting the melee button, the whole Requisition gimmick adds some much-needed flavor to proceedings.

    The latest Halo is a big deal only for hardcore Halo fans. For me the single player campaign was unbearably pompous and despite 1080p and 60 fps the visuals are not as breathtaking as they once were in Halo 4. The game builds a solid foundation for Halo 6, but it’s not one of those games you absolutely have to play. [13/2015, p.48]

    With a more accessible and engaging story and solid new designs for the Prometheans, Halo 5 is a major improvement over Halo 4. Warzone is a great addition to the multiplayer, though the mode seems to have some game balance issues. [Nov 2015]
