    Sadly, Rock Band 4 is a much better pick (as is usually the case when arguing Rock Band/Guitar Hero) as this game isn't for parties and the single-player isn't fun either. The only reason I can think of that you'd want this over Rock Band 4 is online multiplayer, but they've added microtransactions to even ruin that as well. The core gameplay was so promising, but in the end, the on-discSadly, Rock Band 4 is a much better pick (as is usually the case when arguing Rock Band/Guitar Hero) as this game isn't for parties and the single-player isn't fun either. The only reason I can think of that you'd want this over Rock Band 4 is online multiplayer, but they've added microtransactions to even ruin that as well. The core gameplay was so promising, but in the end, the on-disc setlist being so lame, the fact that you can't play the songs you actually WANT on GHTV mode without paying for it and the completely broken power-ups (or Hero Powers, blah, call it Star Power or gtfo) make this a pretty disappointing experience. Not AWFUL, but definitively more bad than good. As I said in my Rock Band 4 review (which I recommend over this), the last gen games (Rock Band 3 and Guitar Hero: Warriors Of Rock) are both better than these ones. Get only if you're a hardcore fan - and even then, you're going to be a little disappointed.… Expand

    I love that guitar hero is back, but the fact that you can't own the song you buy isn't fair!
    You need to pay for play coints and if you play a song once you need to pay again.
    The campaign mod is fun but when you done with it the only thing what is left are 120 songs. that you need to pay a 24 pass cost about 5,99EUR. overall i don't like the buttons of the new guitar, and there    I love that guitar hero is back, but the fact that you can't own the song you buy isn't fair!

    Мне понравилась новая гитара - наконец-то не надо иметь перелом руки чтобы дотягиваться до всех клавиш. появились баре. Мне понравилось что наконец-то появились современные треки. Я устал без конца переигрывать хиты бородатых годов когда я еще даже не был рожден.
    Компания получилась относительно скучной. Проходится быстро. Треков мало. Дальше путь только в онлайн.     Yeah GH is a good game and the new guitar layout rocks but i feel like this just isnt the usual GH title like GH3.

    I like the way you add on new music every once in a while though so keep that up.

    - 500+ songs but I only know 12 songs and only want to play 3. - the audience (in career mode) don't really react. - songs from previous games not there.     I was watching the old South Park Guitar-Qero episode and picked up the new Guitar Hero Live, I really just wanted to play Carry on my Wayward Son and was disappointed to find it wasn't on the game.

    Before you buy check the playlist, because you might find there is next to no songs you'll enjoy playing.    … Expand

    I love the new Guitar Hero experience, but more specifically I love Guitar Hero TV mode, which more than makes up for the forgettable Live mode.
