Grey Skies is a stealth based single player adventure game. Playing as Harper you are trying to survive from a "Martian" invasion. You are trying to move from point A to point B without getting detected by iconic tripods. Most of the time you face with the Red Weed and Black Smoke thanks to Harper's throwable items and traps you can resist them. You can level up and upgrade Harper's abilities. While sneaking around you can distract enemies by throwing rocks so you can pull enemies away from where you need to go. But you are too slow while crouching so basically stealth becomes a bit boring after a while. Grey Skies: A War Of The Worlds Story never gives a clue about the other people, basically you never understand why they are attacking you. Stealth is about eye of sight and sound alerts. While tripods are shooting lasers at you, all you have to do is hide when they shoot and then run to next cover but it is difficult to do at times because Harper gets stuck so sometimes making it impossible to get behind cover in time to evade and the laser will kill you. Gameplay can simply becom frustrating from time to time. Enemy designs are solid especially the tripods. Stealth is basic but ok overall. There is a lack of environmental detail which pulls away from the overall experience. Grey Skies: War Of the Worlds is nothing like the novel and while not overly high priced I just didn't find the experience as fun as it could have been in the end.… Expand
