it's still a good game, but there are still the same issues that have plagued FIFA for years now. The game is still highly scripted, where defenders will make last gasp clearances that drop straight to their striker's feet in acres of space, and League 2 teams pass the ball around like Barcelona. In PvP the 'lobbed through-ball' is ridiculously overpowered and impossible to defend, and players can still make supidly accurate passes from impossible positions - you can face your own goal in your own penalty area and play a 100% accurate 70 yard pass to a striker who again is in acres of space. Attacking consists solely of 'play up the middle to a striker (who will always be in acres of space), play a 1-2 with your other striker, play a lobbed through ball and score one on one. Dribbling is also way overpowered, with average players easily humiliating world class defenders. Defending feels like trying to block a rocket launcher with a sponge.
I still give this a 6 as the presentation is excellent, with realistic commentary and visuals, and the player liknesses are the best yet. it feels slick and Ultimate Team is an addicitive and fun game mode. But until the above issues are sorted it will never score any higher in my books

Some of the latest FIFA also has no great novelties. The goalkeeping think rotten, but I must point out that the game has become more beautiful. However, the game is still good, but now I really have zero innovation.

    The bad:
CPU dribbling. They dribble, then dribble, then dribble some more. I understand EA recoded the dribbling, but for goodness sakes... knock it off! I play defense slowly, rarely using the sprint button and instead counting on positioning to make a tackle. I have found this to save fitness points, especially for my top talent, but is increasingly difficult to pull off when I feel

I play defense slowly, rarely using the sprint button and instead counting on positioning to make a tackle. I have found this to save fitness points, especially for my top talent, but is increasingly difficult to pull off when I feel the need to constantly chase down defenders that dribble all the way up the field because I have cut off all of the primary passing lanes.

    other bad notables:
-Bland commentary (no Ray 'majesterial' Hudson)
-Keepers are much better.. making it harder to score
-can't search for stadiums by league or team in FUT

    The good:
Excellent atmosphere. The sensation of making the stand shake never gets old.
If you like cut scenes and over dramatization, this is for you. The good thing is you can still skip through them.

    For the businessman:
The transfer market is still in its infancy. Don't overspend on a player. Use the 'compare prices' and see what the 'buy it now' price is before bidding up a player. Also, there are deals to be made. I used to sell silver contracts for 650 with a buy it now of 750 in FIFA 13. They are now going for 150 over and over again. Snatch these up early and often as you will need them greatly down the road for your players.. or you can stash them and make a nice buy-low, sell-high gain on them in a few weeks/months. Lots of people look at Gold consumables and deals can be had on Silver because of it.

This is a review of Pro Clubs. All other game modes deserve a 0 rating.

The added "reserve position" ability while a game is in progress is the highlight this year. No other changes to be heard of. Gameplay and servers seem to be fine.

Pro Clubs still doesn't have custom kits. The feeling of neglect to this game mode is still present.

Fifa 15 is not as fun as other yrs i buy it to play against my friends and what ever they did with the keepers and defenders a.i is crazy your keeper will sometimes rush out when theres no need and no im not holding y the defence also suffers with moments of madness just standing there not marking the runner the offside trap doesnt work i didnt think the players look so great see rickie lambert of liverpool as an example he looks like a wwe wrestler not a footballer. But theres some good ideas in this yrs fifa when the keepers are not going mad they make some great saves like your watching a real match the stadiums in england make a fun match hearing the songs and the chants the new shooting can be annoying but once you get used to it you will have fun trying 30 yard long rangers im skipping alot of stuff like no brazilian league no dynamo kiev and a few other things. Id suggest buying it if your a fifa fan if not id wait and try pes 2015 or just buy fifa 14 if you wanna play a football/soccergame Expand

The little aesthetic differences to the environment are impressive.

Dribbling is important again, which is a relief. Time after time on FIFA 14 you'd get in to great positions to buy yourself a yard and whip a cross in, only to lose acceleration completely and lose the ball. But on FIFA 15 you can get yourself that yard, you can leave defenders for dead and you can score solo goals again. The arcade feeling has returned, surrounded by this hi-tech universe EA have invented.

The speed of the game is a little unrealistic - but at the end of the day, this is a football game and not a football match. But what good is all of that when FIFA 15 presents its problems before you work out its treasures?

In the end, FIFA hasn't really been the same since they introduced Tactical Defending. I'm not saying that was the root cause of what we're playing now, but it gave EA the temptation to bite off more than they could chew with regards to altering aspects of the game completely when they only needed little tweaks.

And the Next Gen goalkeepers are yet more evidence of this. What good are the fantastic new tactical choices of All Out Attack and Park the Bus if they don't lead to goals because there's a superhero stood in front of goal? I've played around 10-15 games on this and I'm certain the goalkeeper has been the highest rated player in every single one of them.

It takes me 20 shots on target on professional - PROFESSIONAL - to score 2 goals. I'd bump it up to World Class like usual but I know I'd be on the end of 4-0/5-0 scorelines because the defending from the team I'm controlling is so loose. Pace and trickery can slice open my defence with ease, and my goalkeeper pales in comparison to the one stood at the opposite end. Why?

I've given this a 7 for now because my problems will all be sorted by November when the first patch comes out - but I'm annoyed at EA for releasing a game in this condition. It still feels like a demo because of the amount of improvement work that needs to take place and I'm currently battering Everton 3-0 with West Brom because I know I'll be on the end of a cricket score if I bump it up to World Class.

    I await the patch.

It is nearly impossible to tackle the AI because they react in a millisecond and will either turn or cut back to evade every challenge. You will spend large amounts of time tracking but never tackling the other team. To pass the ball you have to mash the A button or it will be intercepted. Heading which was overpowered in "14" is now so "under powered" that you will likely never score a header for as long as you live. Teams like West Brom, Portsmouth, and Burnley play like Barcelona, they play tiki taka inside my goddamn penalty box, when set to legendary expect nothing but anger and disappointment. Well simply put, It's just Fifa..

There isn't much they can change, but it doesn't excuse not trying - i.e. Broken Keepers, lots of graphical and animation glitches, Overpowered pace/dribblers..

All in all a good football game, better than Pes for sure, but still not warranting 50 squids.

I know I could leave the online side but if I want a game I want to be able to play in every way possible to get my money's worth.

Overall I will always have a soft spot for the game. But I would actually prefer Ultimate team to be taken away and for a new create a team mode that doesn't focus on taking our money. Plus the luck on who will be in your team.

Fifa 15 was off to a flying start when i opened the game and it sent me right into the game with nothing telling me who i was or who i was playing against. at first glance it looks nice and shiny, like the sun thinks this is the most important thing in the hole World. But when you get up close to the characters is when you realize how terrifying they look, and the first time the ball landed in the net one of my players standed behind it looking like he was jerking off. Also i get that America likes White people but FOR F*** SAKE, TURN DOWN THE LIGHTING, everybody looks like somebodys standing 3 feet away from them with a giant lamp. and i get that on a console, Draw distance has to be limited so it dosen't begin to smell like burning plastic, but come on, when the camera looks at the players with the crowd in the background they looks like they have no face like its Mount & blade, from 6 years ago. and when the ball flys into the crowd it just disapperes, is this not just like fifa 14 with slightly better Graphics? and thats what this game is, its the same thing EVERY YEAR. At least games like call of duty brings a *granted bad* new campaign. and it has new guns, maps, and new toys the army can masturbate over. Goalkeepers are the best change on this game, but some times they feel like they are really OP. No major changes on the gameplay, now defending is harder than on the past games.

FIFA 15 is a huge improvement from FIFA 14, from visuals to the play on the pitch, it all feels better, smoother and more like an actual game of football and not a track race. Though pace is still important, it's not all a player will need to good in this game. A strong player will bully a pacey / weak player off the ball, but if the pacey player has good dribbling and ball control then the strong player is **** You can still bomb it down the wings and cross balls in, but it doesn't work as well as it has before because the defenders will get the ball most of the time. Though short players / weak players can still score headers, it doesn't feel over powered as it has before, because in the replay you can see the defender jumped too early or too late, or simply just slagged off the man and he crept in and scored. The product on the pitch is well done as I've written so far already. The crowds in the BPL are amazing the sing the correct songs for each team. I've been playing as Spurs and hearing the crowd Yell COME ON YOU SPURS over and over is amazing. The living pitch that they've added is incredible, from slide tackles to hard shots that take a chunk out of the pitch, it's all there and it stays there. I like how the pitch deteriorates over the time of the game. Now to the issues with the game and oh boy where to begin. From the game crashing to glitched player potentials it's all there. I've had this game crash on me more times than i care to count at this point. When the games crashes on me, every time it happens I have to accept to terms of use again and go through the rewards screen. Not sure if that's happened to anyone else but it happens to me. At least the game auto saves when you make changes and so on, so far I haven't lost any progress in my career but that could change. Now on to my biggest issue with this game the one that makes me want to take the disk out of the console and throw it in the trash. As you progress further and further into your career the game gets slower and slower, not on the pitch and I'm not talking about transactions, I'm talking about how long the game takes to load or do anything. You sim a match, make a change to the squad, search for a player, it takes about 10-30 seconds before I can move in the menu. First season is fine no problems but as I've gotten further on it just gets worse and worse. I've tried all the fixes from disabling my internet connection on my Xbox to turning off UPnP in my router nothing has worked. Also before you go thinking this is a Xbox One issue, think again because I have this game on PS4 as well and same thing. So to wrap up the game is good, there are a ton of improvements from visuals to gameplay and presentation, but the technical issues is what plagues this game. As of writing this there have been no patches to deal with the issues I've stated. Expand

FIFA15 is the best release in the series so far, in terms of game-play, graphics and atmosphere. A 2-v-2 couch session with friends is always a blast!

However, this year I've had a miserable time with Ultimate Team due to various deal-breaker bugs:

    - Randomly dropping out of games and getting disconnected from the servers. On a bad day this can result in me not being able to finish any of the games that I start. There are explicit and implicit penalties to this kind of thing happening, which make progress very difficult. (This is not caused by a slow/unstable connection on my end)

    - Unable to start a game session after dozens of tries. I often like to squeeze in a game during halftime while watching a real match, and hey, if I have to spend 5 min just to find a game, I'm not gonna bother.

    - Intermittently get 0 coin for completed matches.

    - Some tournaments randomly get stuck, unable to start the next round and unable to forfeit and restart. For some people I've seen on the EA forums, this has happened on all available tournaments, effectively eliminating that particular vector of coin generation.

    - Stuck in a low division despite winning title/promotion multiple times. This means I'm often mismatched in terms of squad quality and opponent skill level. It's not fun for me to dominate some newbie with a bronze team until he rage quits 20 min into the game.

Sorry EA, you really shot yourselves in the FUT this time round (Sorry, I'll show myself out).

The year hasn't even ended and I'm pretty much over this season of FUT. The experience is just too frustrating. When hardcore FIFA fans like myself are seriously starting to look at PES, you know EA messed up...

Dribbling and strength being arguably the most important aspects of the game and there is more emphasis on pace than FIFA 14. Heading from crosses and corners do not feel as cheap as they did in previous games as they are harder to score. Freekicks are now scorable (being quite difficult to score in FIFA 14) but sometimes they can feel a bit too easy to score. EA still hasn't been able to find the correct balance yet. Gameplay overall is thoroughly enjoyable and a huge improvement from the slow pace of FIFA 14. Just like with every FIFA game however there are issues. Online matchmaking is very inconsistent making it difficult to find games even with an open NAT. This especially disappointed me considering I use to be a big fan of Ultimate Team and Online Seasons. Because of the matchmaking problems I have played a lot of Career Mode I have noticed numerous issues. For instance the AI is far too willing to engage in sliding challenges which can work in your favour in the penalty box, however anywhere else it can get rather frustrating. Player potentials/growth are broken especially for goalkeepers. You will find some of the older goalkeepers like Buffon, who starts as an 82, will rocket up to an 88 in one season; bear in mind he is about 40!. We all complained that players declined too fast when they hit their 30s, now they barely decrease at all. I was able to sell Robin Van Persie foe 50 million when United only paid about 22 million. EA again needs to find the correct balance for "older" players in the game. Another issue is with the menus in career mode. After one season the menus can get rather slow. The might be because of all the generated players but it can get annoying when you have to wait 10 seconds just to go right on the menu. Overall this is a good and enjoyable game with minor issues that COULD be fixed with a content update. Unfortunately EA does not appear to do content updates instead looking to fix it in FIFA 16 but then create new problems in the next installment. It's an unfortunate cycle that occurs because of their dominance in the Football game market. Expand

The same game year-to-year. The developers are focused only on FUT. Single-player is getting forgotten more and more.

Pra mim, é o melhor, junto ao 14. Depois disso, confesso, não gostei dos outros. O problema que encontrei nesse é o modo lendário, que é absurdamente difícil. Você faz um gol e leva outro em seguida.

This year’s second FIFA offers very little that is new, but overall it’s still one of the best sports games around. [Nov 2014]

FIFA 15 delivers what you would expect from it. Which is a massive plus point for EA Sports this year. In fact it’s the first EA game I’ve played this year that was actually feature complete at launch.

FIFA 15 it’s a football experience clearly built for new generation platforms but it’s not without problems or sufficiently demarcated from previous games.
