In addition to the clubs and spears, you have long range bow, short range rapid fire bow, double bow, exploding bow, Owl strike, Owl bomb, different types of grenades, traps, takedowns, need I go on. No, there isn't full auto spray and pray... a little more skill is involved here. Having a really tough animal companion to guard your back is fun and there are meaningful differences between the animals. The developers tried to do something new with Far Cry Primal, and I think they succeeded. The environment has a real sense of wilderness and danger and makes savage killing with sticks and stones just plain fun. Expand

Not to mention the game world is vast and simply gorgeous, the visuals are breathtaking! Right now I'm having a ball doing side missions to increase my villages population to unlock more bonuses. This game is pretty good. It's a Far Cry game, but very different than the previous entries. One of this games greatest strengths is taking away your sniper rifles and rocket launchers, and giving you a stick with a rock on it instead. It puts you right in the fight, and everything feels much more visceral than before.

The setting and feeling of this are incredible. Living in this pure, untainted world fraught with danger everywhere makes you feel like man did before things like giant stone walls and guns were around. You feel threatened by man and nature everywhere you go, and you are not at the very top of the food chain. The ambiance and feeling of the world are top notch and beautifully crafted.

The biggest, and dare I say only, major drawback this game has is the story. There isn't a whole lot to the NPC's or Takkar himself, they really don't change or grow much at all, and the story itself kind of falls flat. It's literally "these two tribes threaten us, kill both of their leaders, the end". There's just not much there. Not that that's particularly out of the ordinary for Far Cry, but this may be the worst it's been.

TL;DR: the game play itself is tremendously fun, the world is engrossing and rich, but the story is one-note and not evocative at all.

Put Denuvo aside, as I mentioned before the game is fun and entertaining and don't take it too seriously. Far Cry 4 was definitely a better game but Primal is not a terrible game by any means.

It's something different, no more booms and explosions from grenades or run'em gun'em with machine guns but killing your foe with stone made weapons and headshots with a bow or throwing your spear is pretty awesome. As far as performance optimizations go, I haven't had any issues. The game mostly runs a consistent 60fps on my GTX 980, i7-4790k, 16gb ram system with max settings @ 1080p.

For all the heat they take, Ubisoft has perfected this particular game play system and really built a vibrant and living world. The game delivers on the technical level for sure, graphics and framerate are AAA all the way.

The primitive weapon set makes it feel more like a survival game and there some animals that are almost impossible to take down 1 on 1, even when you're fully upgraded. this makes it feel higher stakes when you're moving around the map and you have to use fire strategically as well. The side mission design is great overall, especially the escort missions which are intense and action packed. Also, I give the developers props for creating the "Cave Missions" with awesome scenery and unique enemies/events for each cave. Ubisoft CANNOT be accused of recycling the mission design in this game, you can tell they really put a lot of effort into it.

Overall, can't recommend this game enough if you're like me and you were extremely turned off by the mailed in effort that was Far Cry 4. It's obvious that Ubisoft felt they were onto something with this concept and they went all in on developing it into something unique and really fun.

    But why is that so?

The first impression gives delights me with great graphics and a wonderful prehistoric setting. And, of Course now a days, it is an open world. But Far Cry Primal feels to me, like the first ever REAL open world. I do not feel rushed to help a friend or to kill a bad guy. Most of the time I can do, whatever i please to do. Main quest, side quests, hunting, taming, exploring, building new weapons or my very own little village.
And the one generic thing being critisised in every open world game, in Far Cry Primal actually has a very good reason: You MUST collect a lot of things provided by mother nature, simply because you need them for construction.
And sometimes I don´t do any of that. Sometimes I just wander around and watch. A group of deers eating grass, just to get attacked by a flock of wolves. A little boy in my village, who turns around a stone to eat the insects underneath it. A young couple getting it on in a "secret place" near my personal cave. A woman moaning and walking out of the village just to sit in to the grass and make a pile of you know what.
There is so much life in this game by merely doing nothing and that adds a big amount of atmosphere to it.
At the end of the game I had tamed, hunted und skinned every animal, I had build the complete village, I had found every secret spot, I had conquered every outpost. This is the first open world game where I actually conquered the magical 100% in completion.
It took my about 65-70 hours and not one minute I regret of it.
To me Far Cry Primal is a perfect gem, just like back in 1998 Commandos was. So if Ubisoft thinks about bringing Far Cry Primal 2, they better do not change anything to the worse.

Now then, Far Cry Primal is truly a great game. The lush, open-world is eye candy, the ever popular survival mechanic is taken to a whole new level, and personally I think that the different tribes in the game look absolutely amazing and it is clear much attention was payed to detail. The Udam are more primitive cannibals who wear the bones of humans and animals alike as armor, while the Izila are more advanced usually sporting ritualistic type tribal clay masks and wooden/basket-type weave armor. Should you ever come to a point were you complete all the side quests and main missions and become bored, there is the option to reset all outposts back to their hostile state providing some degree of replay ability. My only complaints are the combat is somewhat bland and there isn't a whole lot of replay ability. All in all however, Far Cry Primal is really a great game and I highly recommend that you at least try it out at some point, if your on the fence, maybe wait till the price drops a little, who knows? I am a big fan of Far Cry 3 and 4. On the surface, Primal looked intriguing. Overall I would say it is a decent game, but to me not as good as 3 or 4.

I didn't really care for the pitch black night aspect of the game and the looting / gathering seemed to get old rather quickly. Seems like it was always a rock, stick or pelt that I obtained.

Overall a decent open world game, but I doubt I would play it again.

The game play is tight, Animal AI's are decent with some very memorable and adorable animations (the wolves piss on the cats they kill, your pet bear will nuzzle his face against your hands), and you get to throw flaming spears into the throats of you enemies and watch them burn as you rise to the dominate subspecies of human of earth. This game is a 25 hour appeal to your inner cave man; let your hair down and get wild.
60 dollars is a steep asking price however, wait for a sale or rent the game.(7.5/10)

It's especially fun just throwing your stone club in the enemies face and watching blood spurt out of their head. Then there's the animals, traps and poison bombs. My point is that the developers gave me lot of satisfying ways to kill an enemy so the game never became boring, which is a huge surprise. The stealth too seemed samey at first but I like how they added new animations (clubbing people in the head is hilarious), more satisfying sounds (love the sound of the shard hitting the target's head/neck) and death animation to keep the same stealth take downs fun. The rating would be higher if it had a better and focused story and more defined characters. Expand

Far Cry Primal is a first person action adventure survival game set in the Stone Age.
You play as Takkar, just a regular hunter, who’s then tasked by a woman he runs into to go rescue some of her people and instantly become the leader of a new tribe…
There’s very little emphasis on narrative here, just a quick introduction and then you’re free to do whatever you want… but there is incentive to follow through with helping your tribe mates…
This for the most part is a recourse gathering game…
By gathering resources you can craft better weapons, build huts to upgrade your village and unlock skills.. And of course craft food items to help you survive…
That’s basically it... explore the world... hunt animals for their skins…
You can even eventually tame them to help you in combat…
There are of course human enemies to deal with.. not just aggressive animals…
Outside of the 14 hour campaign you can liberate areas to unlock fast travel points, and you can do side quests for characters you meet in the woods…
Your tamed animals help you with a simple call.. they’ll even stealth with you if you go into stealth mode …
Your weapon option is about as varied as you’d expect for the stone age, you get a club, sling, spear, bow and arrows, traps, and bombs.. all of which you have to craft as you use them…
None of your tools are indestructible, thankfully wood is vast and as you upgrade your crafting skills, you get more recourses, and get more out of those recourses.. so slowly less annoying…
What doesn’t get less annoying though is enemies…
A great immersion breaker is that enemies are harder or easier to kill depending on the section of the map you’re in for no apparent reason…
This isn’t a JRPG.. This is an open world game... I don’t want enemies to scale with me... I want to feel powerful after sinking all of my skill points and crafted materials into stronger weapons…
What does make me feel powerful though is hopping on the back of a majestic mammoth and slinging enemies into the air…
You can ride any large creature you tame once you progress far enough into the story…
There’s such a great balance here of gameplay incentive…
There’s reason to play through the story to unlock new abilities, and there’s reason to ignore the story for a little while to get better weapons, and new skills…
You can’t do it all sticking to one side of the game, and I love that…
And hunting for rare animals and reaching for rare materials is just as fun as attacking a settlement on the back of a caber toothed tiger and taking it for my own…
There are also these cool witcher contract type missions deep in the game where you get to go on a hunt for a legendary animal that’s been terrorizing the land… Looking for clues, setting up traps, and then weakening them down to finally be able to claim them for yourself to call to fight by your side at any time…
A lot of the main missions for the most part have to do with searching for clues and following paths with your hunter vision, which works like eagle vision from assassins creed, or a witcher sense in the witcher the 3…
It highlights animals, plants.. and points of interest…
Its highly annoying that this vision has a timer though…
I don’t know why ubisoft ruined this awesome tool from Assassins Creed… they ruined it in Unity too…
It’s not fun having to constantly click r3 and wait for a cool down every few seconds when I’m trying to follow a path…
    Stop doing this ubisoft..
Thankfully you can call your cool little owl friend to fly around the sky to get a larger view of the path since this function is so unnecessarily annoying…
This is a very ubisoft game… If you don’t like the idea of map cleaning in your games... this isn’t the one for you…
Map cleaning is pretty hit and miss for me, but thankfully I enjoyed it here…
This world is ridiculous... it feels alive… you can ride mammoths…
    what more do you want?
    I give Far Cry Primal
    an 8.0/10

The setting at first to I'm sure everyone is the selling point. No guns, no sniping, different paced version of FarCry. The problem starts to set in when you realize that the setting that the game is placed in is just a clever way to sell a game, and hiding the fact that the things that made prior FarCry games awesome - nonexistent.

Aside from skinning the animals you kill, and looting the humans you kill is all the actual looting you will do in this game. There are no random treasure chests spread throughout the world, with some random loot that you can use to craft or inevitably sell to a merchant to upgrade the things you do have. Throughout the world you will encounter 1 of 3 things.

    1. Animals and Humans who want you dead
    2. Random stones that are highlighted on your map and give an EXP boost.
    3. Materials to craft things. (Tree's, Herb's, etc.)

And that is FarCry Primal. Run around avoid packs of animals at night, fast travel here because of an exp stone you found while running around. Kill a few animals that you can skin but quickly find out you have had the materials at max capacity for the entire game.

The fact that there is no loot to acquire at all whatsoever ruins the game to me, and I understand the time period makes it that treasure chests shouldn't be hidden around with loot to sell so you can upgrade your weaponry because in 10k BC there wasn't currency, or even treasure chests, or people that wanted to buy your random crap. This is what I mean when I say making the game based in the Stone Age was just an absolutely clever way to make and sell a lazy and uninspired game.

I will still play in through completely because I am truly a fan of the series. If you liked the butt clenching moments of Dying Light when the sun goes down as you run for safety, the hunting of animals to get their skin to upgrade your bag or some other piece of arsenal this is a possible chance to relive those moments. Nightfall in this game however doesn't make your heart pump like Dying Light, and after 30 mins of playtime animal skins becoming a message saying your pack is full of those items leaving you to go well wtf is the point of an open world when there is literally nothing in it to find, thus making the whole exploration part of the game literally being that. Exploring an enemy group dropping in on you while you walk around relentlessly, knowing that anything they drop is useless to you. All that is left to do is I guess check out the scenery? I hope you find that enjoying because that is literally all you will find or be able to do. Enjoy!

    Far Cry Primal

CESAR MILLAN EAT YOUR HEART OUT

It's definitely passable as a game but don't expect it to work wonders.

The thing is, after starting the game you quickly realise that you're in 10,000BC, an era where there is absolutely nothing crazy happening. The grappling hook is the most modern thing you'll find in the game which is pretty alarming. Yes, of course the whole point of the game is about primitive survival. I get it.

But cave man fighting other cave man with the occasional feline predator is not an ideal way of making a fun and stimulating environment. At least not the way Ubisoft have done it.

Also, I'm guessing 8/10 people won't be bothered to keep following the storyline with the weird (but creative) primitive talk and the distracting subtitles. It's as good as the rest of the game. A lot of downs with an occasional high.

On a positive note, the graphics and environment are pretty good. Fighting mechanics perform well too. It's a mindless Far cry. And if at the end of the day you realise you're playing with Cave Man, being mindless is what it is all about.

I feel like this game on overall will end up sitting right on middle of the fence for most people. It's a one time experience. No-replay value at all. Some people will experience it as a 5.5 and some even as high as a 7.

Also the narrative unlike past two far cry titles is only here to serve the gameplay nothing else which is sad because after last two far cry titles fans are more then use to the gameplay and mechanics of any far cry title so the narrative along with whatever new ideas they came up with was one of the major things to look forward with each sequel and with Primal nothing to admire or even want to follow once you begin it. Who doesnt want to play Far Cry: Colonial Marines or Far Cry: 1800's, the reason that Far Cry itself is so popular is partly because of the combat aspect.

So instead of guns and grenades, we have bow and arrows, spears...and Dr Doolittle ability to control certain animals and a story entirely spoken in alleged caveman speak and subtitles. (I cannot wait for the PC guys to brag about how 4k quality their subtitles look)

Its not that this is a bad game, its just not a Far Cry game instead it takes a game that had some potential and turned it into Ubisofts version of Battlefield Hardline.
If they had called the game anything else other than Far Cry, I would feel less inclined to give it a bad rating but by linking this game to a series that has a very specific formula you are only inviting criticism.

At best this game should have been a DLC add on to Far Cry 4, at worst its a concept that had potential but needed more time in development to flesh out character abilities and weapon types as well as craft a much more meaningful story.

They added more emphasis to the world, giving it more interaction and having the day-night cycles be important and you can tame the wildlife so you can even the odds and have a pretty awesome pet to be your sidekick. I would be the first to praise a game that can get away from using guns, doing something different. I welcome innovation, if it's actually something new.

Like Sleeping Dogs where the majority of the game you don't use guns, cause they're illegal to own in China. Smart reason to focus more on awesome fighting. I was expecting to see that here but the mechanics are still the same. Of course there's the bow but the melee weapons feel like your swinging a crowbar in Half Life 1. I would have liked to see the melee weapon attacks be really fleshed out with a cool new system behind them but they're just short ranged guns... if that makes any sense.

There are a lot of new ideas which I love but when the mechanics are so similar it makes it difficult to feel like I'm playing a new game. It's not a bad game but it's not a good Far Cry game. As just a game goes it's pretty good and fun to play. But the major problem people had with Far Cry games were how repetitive the gameplay would become. Capture outpost, scout the area then do a mission. Rinse repeat. This game needed a more in depth gameplay style to match the combat but eventually you fall under that same cycle as previous games.

Lastly if the mechanics don't stick out from previous games, the visuals will. If you played Far Cry 4 you'll notice It doesn't look any different aside from the prehistoric theme. Which makes me disappointed because Far Cry 3 was an incredible looking game... at the time. It blew other open world games out the water with impressive visuals and its beautiful landscapes. Sadly they've riding that same engine for a long time now.

I'd say wait for a price drop, but definitely check it out.

The game play is solid like all far cry games but the story and setting are just repetitive and too easy. Once you tame bigger animals they will just kill everyone while you watch. I'd recommend far cry 4 over this which is a shame because I'm a big fan of pre history and the setting is right up my alley.

Unfortunately, I bought this game despite these concerns, and to my dismay, Primal is largely a simple reskin of Far Cry 4 with less features/more restrictions due to the setting. You'll see some of the exact same skills carried over from 4 (ex: the back stabbing chain combo), the same animals simply reskinned with slight or no modifications (Ex: the badger), the same mechanics even if it doesn't mesh with the setting (Ex: grappling hook or should I say "bone claw"). Sadly, the developers ignored the areas that needed to be fleshed out more for a B.C era game such as melee combat which leaves the game feeling like a shallow button masher.

Far Cry Primal isn't bad it's just more the of same. I'd only purchase this title if you missed out on Far Cry 3 and 4, and even then, Far Cry 4 has significantly more content.

Like all Far Cry, it starts in an exciting way, but as almost always, after Far Cry 3, it loses its breath.

Weak and repetitive history, quests do not live up to the name of the series.

Then i deleted my char and made one in SURVIVING mode (u must delete one to make another on Xone).
Well, the survival mode have some excellent things who could make it one of the best games i ever played and some disgraceful things who completely ruined the game for me, because of the bad things i got angry with it and eventually stopped playing it.
-Less resources and animals: excellent, now the world looks more realist and the hunting better.
-Stamina bar: excellent idea, makes the game more realist.
-No minimap: should be optional but i can deal with the loss.
-Permadeath of companions: well, looks very realist and i can deal with it BUT... there are glitches who kills companions, can't imagine nothing more irritating...
-Harder to tame: ok, sounds reasonable.
    -Mounting fatigue: realistic.
-Reduced loot capability, longer crafting duration, etc...: good.
    Now there's the bad changes.
-Nightime, longer nights: annoying, i don't wanna play a beautiful game like this at night...
-More predators at night: What was already bad now its worse.
-Darker night: Because **** those who can't see well and all other who play with the room lights on.
And the worst of all changes.
-Companions have reduced health: Jesus christ, its not only unrealistic, it exists with the sole intention to f**k with you, after spending 20min to chase and tame a grown up cave bear and almost die in the process because now its harder to tame, your bear is WEAKER than a wild bear... Sometimes it can die fighting another weaker animals...
For me this was the change who made the game unplayable, they got the best thing the game had (companions) and made them weaker than normal ones and now have permadeath.
Whats more frustrating is that they could simply make all of this changes optional, this would make everyone happy but no.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I actually really enjoyed this game. Idk why but I just do. an yea its a modded map of a section of Farcry4 but I honestly dont care. I really like the ability to "tame" animals. (Bloodfang is life and my lil buddy badger) I can understand why some ppl dont like this game like one reason is its "too grindy" which I can easily toleate since ive put a total of 3000+ hours into the entirety of the Monster Hunter series. Now the setting being 10,000 BC I really enjoy, very few games go to around this era of human history. (even if its fictional). I liked Farcry 3 and 4 (not much on 2) but I like Primal alot better than those 2., maybe bc ive played waaaaay too many modern era shooters, so something like this is a breath of fresh air. Now the Udam u capture to b apart of ur village, is honestly one of the more likable characters. imo I feel sad for him but I honestly enjoy his character. Now I know my opinion is "unpopular" and some ppl will call me an "idiot" nonetheless for liking it, but its one of those rare few games tht feel like im not playing another mediocre game, but make me feel good to play it. I recommend this game if ur used to "grindy" type of games and/or played way too many of the "similar" games in recent years when it comes to the setting of which a game takes place. (and gameplay)
P.S. The world is just beautiful. It gives off like a "warm light" atmosphere tht just feels very calming and "happy" even with all the killing and gore.

Far Cry Primal is an open world game set in 10,000 BCE. Because of it's unique prehistoric setting, I was hoping for an equally refreshing gameplay experience. In that regard, I was disappointed. That isn't to say it's a bad game - far from it - it's just that Far Cry Primal isn't otherwise anything special. This review is based on my playthrough on survivor mode with the expert difficulty level.
    THE GOOD
    - It looks amazing, with great graphics and varied environments. Cutscenes are gorgeous, textures are consistent, and nothing looks out of place. It also runs perfectly.
    - Visually and atmospherically, the setting is superb in execution. It lends itself well to a sense of exploration, which is especially prevalent at the start of the game when you are dropped into an unknown world to fend for yourself. Discovering the land of Oros was some of the most fun I had. It's such a diverse land full of animals and only sparsely populated with (usually hostile) humans. Everything looks, sounds and feels as it should.
    - Taming beasts is a very cool mechanic; having a sabretooth tiger by your side is always a good thing. I appreciated how the beasts each had different stats and abilities. Alongside other wildlife and fauna, the beasts added to the setting.
    - Moment to moment gameplay is fun and even exhilarating, at least to begin with. When you're still discovering everything Oros has to offer, and before you've seen the handful of mission archetypes repeated dozens of times, it's a great game. Combat is fun at first, but what you see is what you get, and it never develops into anything above mediocrity.
    - There are lots of difficulty settings, so the game can be tailored to your liking.
    - There are some genuinely interesting characters, and the two enemy tribes are also worthy of note for their differing cultures. These factors make the story worthwhile.
    THE BAD
    - It has it's fair share of bugs. I genuinely have no idea how a few of my tamed beasts died. Most recently, I was just walking around when my tiger just vanished. He can't have died in combat, because there was nothing near us and I was given no prompt to heal him. He just vanished and I couldn't summon him again. This wasn't a lone event, as similar things happened to a couple of my beasts that can only be obtained once, the best you can get, so this was extremely annoying. There were other bugs, such as when a mission didn't go to plan because the tall elk I was supposed to hunt didn't appear. I went into where it was supposed to spawn and it was just stood there. I killed it and it didn't even move. That was a very easy mission for me.
    - The AI can be appalling. There were plenty of instances where I could beat an enemy or beast to death without any resistance whatsoever. Enemies react slowly, and often just stand still and do nothing... this is all on the highest difficulty setting.
    - There's this one Izila enemy that kills you in one hit which is very frustrating. Some beasts can kill you in two hits so being surrounded by a pack of them is annoying too.
    - Tamed beasts are often unresponsive and don't do what you want.
    - Some of the animation is really clunky, such as that of tamed beasts when just walking around.
    - Character models are reused all the time. So many people look identical, which really impacts the suspension of disbelief.
    - Combat doesn't suit large groups at a time. The difficulty can feel artificial as it seems the game is just throwing too many enemies at you for you to deal with. It's never that hard, just monotonous having to deal with so many people.
    THE BORING
    - There is NO mission variety. It suffers from map mess, meaning there's always stuff to do everywhere, but everything follows the same structure. It gets very repetitive very quickly. There is no real content, only blatantly inflated game length via constant reuse of the same tired structures.
    - Quests are tediously formulaic, and have no story to them so I never knew why I was doing anything.
    - The combat is heavily restricted by a lack of weapons, enemy types, and repetitive enemy encounters.
    - There is quite a poor sense of progression. Weapon upgrades never feel that substantial.
    - Collectibles are utterly worthless and another example of blatantly inflated game length.
    - Although everywhere is beautiful and graphically impressive, there aren't many memorable locales because everywhere is filled with the same activities and structures (camps/bonfires/outposts).
    - Lots of the skills you can unlock are very dull, and just mildly improve an existing quality.
    CONCLUSION
It's good, but not great. It drew me in with a beautiful setting, but let me down with shallow gameplay. It's fun most of the time, but it's really nothing special. You won't be missing out if you don't get it, but it's pretty easy to recommend as some mindless fun. I believe it deserves a 7, as I can't deny I had fun, which is what matters.

(Look it up kiddos) You play as Boga Boga and you must stop the rival tribes from decimating you while you try and rebuild your own. Much in the Far Cry fashion you meet interesting characters such as balding chick who is fascinated with taking the ears of her enemies. The shaman who is constantly making you drink blood and getting you high as **** The dude who pisses on you, and a few more down the road. The villains however are vastly uninteresting to say the least. Unlike Far Cry 3 and 4 the villains in Primal are just there. You have a tribal leader who is a cannibal which the game attempts to have you pity him. Then some tribal leader who just likes to burn people alive for her God. You get three interactions with them a piece with all being brief and ultimately boring. The games story is boring it is just plain bad. There is nothing deep, nor crazy that has you wanting more. With this being in the caveman era I was hoping for more of a interesting new tale, and not just kill them because they are evil story.
The game looks beautiful. While some say that it is a semi different version of Far Cry 4’s map you’d be hard-pressed to realize that while playing. I couldn’t tell you if the voice acting is good or bad being that they don’t speak English. I personally love the fact they don’t, but I can see a lot of people in the camp of, “Read! What the **** I ain’t reading **** My argument against that is would you rather them have British accent or New York, or even better a surfer accent?

The gameplay is why I enjoy the hell out of this game. The combat is well… PRIMAL to say the least. You are either shooting arrow, using or throwing spears into people, or my personal favorite beating them to death with a club. Where the game truly shines is in the beast taming mechanic. Taming a beast means that other beast tend to **** off so you don’t get the horrible Far Cry thing of getting ****ed up by a badger. This game funny enough gets stupid easy the more you play, and I am perfectly okay with that. I hate it when you put 8+ hours into a game and the enemies just keep getting harder so you never feel like you’ve progressed at all. I love feeling like King **** of **** Mountain and making my enemies run in fear. The crafting can get tedious at times and constantly grabbing material can get annoying, but if you don’t mind it the gameplay is brutally phenomenal.

Overall the game is a great 14+ hour experience with a ton to do and explore. You just might want to put a podcast on while you play because it has no deep rich story to speak of, and you have to read it anyways. I enjoyed the hell out of this game it is so far the best thing I’ve played in Q1 of this year, but The Division comes out tomorrow so we’ll see. I give this a 4/5, if you like Far Cry but were on the fence about this game you should buy it you won’t be disappointed. To the others I highly recommend checking it out we rarely get games like this and it is so cool and interesting I want to see more of these kind of games out there. Ubisoft took a chance on this game and I hope they get a good return investment out of it.

Expand

If only Ubisoft Montreal had felt more confident in its wild gambit – if only it had gone further with the Stone Age concept – and we could have been looking at something special. Instead, we have a Far Cry game that feels fun in its familiarity, but is sadly lacking in many integral ways.
