Nov 20, 2018Great graphics, solid crafting, reasonable blend of VATS for a real-time world, so much content both audio and written, fun variety in the weapons. Sure I miss the NPC's, but I'm judging and scoring by what the game HAS and not what I (simply) like from the previous that is missing.
I'm only level 12, but hooked and want to get through to find out about the Enclave, Brotherhood, Overseer etc... -

Jun 20, 2019I tried the game out over the free trial week, not sure what to expect - maybe a quick laugh at how bad it was, judging by reviews - but found myself really pleasantly surprised. I had a great time, helped by a really friendly community. So impressed was I, that I bought the game a couple of days later and am still thoroughly enjoying myself. It's a BLAST.

Jun 20, 2019Great online community. Bethesda continues to support the game with new features and fixes. There’s a lot more to come and it will definitely improve the game. So much to explore and do currently. New battle royal mode is loads of fun. Highly recommend for casuals and fallout fans.

Jun 20, 2019Great game. Yes, it was a rocky launch to say the least. However Bethesda hasn’t turned a blind eye to the bugs OR where they went wrong. There’s an awesome, interactive community that plays it and a committed developer...dare I say, maybe it recreates the ES:O comeback?

Jun 20, 2019Even with the bad launch and all the bugs. I still always found myself enjoying this game and it just keeps getting better and better!

Jun 20, 2019Though rocky at launch, this game has only gotten better over time. With an active community and consistent free content, I can’t wait to see where it is in the future.

Dec 20, 2018But it’s hard to feel as if you’re truly affecting the world when there are no NPCs to express satisfaction or disdain, or to be directly influenced by your actions. Even killing feels hollow. Some of my best battles in Fallout 4 came when I stumbled across an outpost and found there a raider in there; he’d yell and scream at me as we were facing off. The Scorched, while armed, feel like nothing more than zombies.

Dec 11, 2018The addition of multiplayer feels as though it comes at the expense of Fallout’s memorable story-driven moments. What good is a vast map full of players if they're given little to no purpose? When no other players are around, the game’s world feels almost empty. The attention-grabbing locales and landmarks add to Appalachia's charm, but it's difficult to not wish for living, breathing characters to inhabit it. Post-apocalyptic West Virginia is described as a wasteland, and this term paints an inadvertent but accurate picture of what Fallout 76 is right now.

Nov 30, 2018If you enjoy multiplayer games of this type and are willing to overlook the engine anomalies, you may find yourself rapidly addicted to the game's exploration density and loot systems. If you're easily frustrated by bugs and issues, you may want to sit tight a bit to see what Bethesda does to polish things up, cus oh boy, it could use a bit right now. If you're a fan of the single player, branching narrative the series is known for, you'll want to wait for Fallout 5.
