    This has to be the most pointless game released this month. Mixing science fiction with fantasy? who's brilliant idea was that? This game feels like you are just playing a poor mans version of fallout, witcher and Mad Max all rolled up into one game. "Jack of all trades, master of none" is the perfect tag line for this game.

    definitely the worst game released on xbox one so far this year, everything in this game is broken, it's basically still in alpha. The worst animations i have seen in my life, combat is laughable and the soundtrack is painfully bad.

    This game is horrendous in every way, the graphics sucks, the controls sucks, and just the combat system itself is one of the worst I've ever experienced.
    This game is plain awful. The voice acting sounds like it's from a 2005 game. The sound and animations are probably the worst I've ever seen in a game. Sometimes the music just disappears right in the middle of cutscenes.     This is by far the worst game of 2017. This game won't even run probably on my xbox one, constant frame rate drops and just full of glitches. Whoever the developers are, they should be given a medal for making the most awful game i have played in a very long time.

    This game seemed interesting but i cant play it, the game keeps crashing. huge frame rate drops. my character keeps falling through the map. Why did they release such a buggy mess???!!!

    Boring, that's the best way to describe this game. Boring armor, boring weapons and boring loot. Boring story, boring characters and boring world
    Also no character customization, in an rpg! You are forced to play as some bald guy who tries to act all tough, its so boring.

    It's 2017, can you all just stop being a bunch of die-hard apologists for PBs awful combat systems. If they polished the animations a bit so combat doesn't feel/look like an awkward exchange between malfunctioning animatronics, it would do the game so much good    abysmal signature wooden combat system with it's delayed visual feedback, lack of impact/weight, very subpar animations.

    It's 2017, can you all just stop being a bunch of die-hard apologists for PBs awful combat systems. If they polished the animations a bit so combat doesn't feel/look like an awkward exchange between malfunctioning animatronics, it would do the game so much good already. In essence, that's justifying a car from the 60s that drinks gasoline and spouts of black smoke in 2017, just 'because that's how they are and that's how we should keep them'

    Or perhaps PB is just straight-up incapable of making good combat systems, period. In which, outsource it already to somehow who is remotely competent at animations.    … Expand

    So this game got really bad reviews but i gave it a chance, and oh was i disappointed. Where to even begin, the combat is a complete joke, the animations are like from a game 30 years ago, the soundtrack is pathetic. And worst of all, full of bugs, glitches, frame rate drops and crashes.

    This game tried to copy skyrim and fallout and put them all in one game but failed. These indie developers need to learn to make their own games and not copy other legendary games.

    Its Incredibly Boring throughout the entire game – No real “Epic feeling moments”. The game is filled with Broken Quests, Glitches, Bugs, and Framerate hitches (every time you kill an enemy). Crude graphics and Pathetically Sloppy Textures.

    So many 10/10 shill reviews tells you everything you need to know. At least they paid for multi-language fake reviews. Too bad Metacritic turns a blind eye to such behaviour.

    - cheap animations
    - very boring plot and story
    - unlogical and too long dialogues
    - annoying combat system

    - The UI is terrible. It looks bad and the usability is also not great.
    - The combat is atrocious. It's just a wonky mess, that has bad feedback, bad hit boxes and doesn't feel direct enough.
    - The story so far has been super uninteresting and I have yet to see quests that aren't cliches and plagued by bad writing.

    Elex is een zeer grote teleurstelling en ik ben als fan van Gothic denken dat het het slechtste Piranha Bytes spel is. Het is onvoltooid, verouderd en niet speelbaar. Ik kan dit spel niet aanraden.

    By far the worst indie game ever made. These nobody developers basically copied games like skyrim, fallout and witcher. The developers should be sued for stealing ideas from these better and more amazing games.

    This game looks like a cheap mod to Skyrim stylized on Fallout 4 and Mass Effect. I would not recommend this even to download, not to mention about the purchase.

    Im amazed at how inaccurate the critics are on this game! Everyone i know thats played the game fell in love with it! Its like a cross between Fallout and Skyrim. Ill have to look at which games these critics dump on to find awesome games in the future

    The biggest disappointment that I have with Elex isn't the poor control system, or the colossally horrific voice acting, or the overpowered enemies, or the character modeling from the 1990's. No, my biggest disappointment is that all, and I mean ALL, of these issues could have been addressed and refined if given two things: more time and more money. I feel that Elex could have been one of the best open world RPG games we have seen in quite sometime had it had the time and funding to develop into something wonderful, not just passable.
