As you can imagine I was very pleased to learn that they were releasing the game again with all of the DLC, and the best thing is that it’s free to people who purchased the original. I must admit that I expected to be bored with this version of the game because I’ve played it before, but thankfully that never happened. The story is as good as ever and it kept me hooked once again and the main reason why it did that is because the characters are so unique. You can tell right from the start that each character has had a lot of thought and effort put into it and each little quirk the character has means you end up growing quite fond of them. Another thing you will grow quite fond of as you go along is the different gameplay mechanics in play at the same time. Each different mechanic works extremely well and the best thing is that you never seem to bump into any problems which keeps the frustration levels down quite a bit. This is a good thing because when you first start playing the game you will notice that it can be quite unforgiving and it takes quite a bit of grinding for you to get better items and become used to the game. Another thing you will notice is that the battles can be a little on the slow side at times and that can make things become a little tedious, but if you look past this the other content does satisfy you a great deal. Speaking of content there is a huge amount for you to get to grips with and with all the added DLC included in this version of the game it will without a doubt keep you satisfied for a number of hours. One of my favourite things about the previous version of the game was the presentation side of it and thankfully it’s just as good in this version. The visuals and sound design really do have a lot of charm infused into them and when they combine together they make the gameplay even more fun and enjoyable. At the end of the day I appreciate all the effort that has gone into this version of Earthlock and if you didn’t play the original version then I fully recommend that you purchase this version. It has all the content flowing through it and fans of the RPG genre will find more than enough to keep them hooked for a long time, and the best thing is that boredom doesn’t rear its ugly head very often and that’s more than enough to warrant a recommendation from me.… Expand
