Superb game, how can anyone rate this low? Gorgeous visuals, massive world, loads to see and do etc etc etc This is the first good RPG this generation and hopefully the first of many.

    * Amazing atmosphere, I haven't felt this giddy walking around and exploring since Skyrim... it's more polished though, with only the odd graphical oddity.
    * Origins level, if not better, writing.
    * Controller+PC = The most fun way to play. The UI for KB+M is lovely, but the movement is much, much better on controller..... they very much tailored EVERYTHING to work better on the gamepad

    * Use Mantle if you are AMD GPU - I got a based god 10fps bump and everything just seems to look and run better when using the Mantle API.
    * Install on a SSD for sure, load times are next to none.. just long enough to read 1-2 of the cards then you're into the game.
    * Cut-scenes were a bit stuttery as well, until I used Mantle.. AMD cards and DX11 in this game don't like each other as much.
    * The best music I have ever heard in a game, and I'm only 10 hours in.. it's just...... spectacular.
    * The Storytelling, so far, is amazing... only bested by the superb atmosphere and character interactions.
    * GOTY shoe in from what I've played.. it's the Dragon Age game you have been waiting for since finishing Origins, believe the hype.

This is hands down the best game I have ever played. I absolutely loved it. Voice acting was once again fantastic, story was great and the world was just beautiful. While there are some glitches, I've now played this game through on the Xbox One and the 360 and they were not game breaking (for me anyway).

While there are some glitches, I've now played this game through on the Xbox One and the 360 and they were not game breaking (for me anyway).

*The controls felt a little odd at first, but once you really get into the game I really like them. I thought it was a little weird at first that you had to keep holding down the attack button once attacking an enemy, but honestly this just became second nature once you got a bit into the game.

*The story and romances in this one are really well written. I'm glad they've dropped the underwear in the shower deal, seeing as this game is rated M anyway.

*There is tons to explore. I whipped through this game on the One and now that I'm replaying it on the 360 I'm doing different story options and exploring some areas more in depth and didn't realize how much I had missed in my first playthrough.

*I actually like the side quests. I know some of them are just fetch quests, but they make sense. Plus if you return to areas later, the people you did quests for will thank you and change their dialogue and whatnot.

For the people who are whining and complaining and comparing this game to Skyrim I just don't get it. I mean I like the Elder Scrolls games and all, but there is just hardly any story there. I never give a crap about any of the people in that world. It's a fun dungeon crawler with a bit of story mixed in as filler. And I love it. But, Dragon Age is just much more than that. They have made this game more open world. The areas are huge and there's ton of stuff to do and find. The combat was fun and much improved over Dragon Age 2. There were no enemy waves falling from the sky. It was more reminiscent of Dragon Age Origins. It's a fantastic game and if you stick your nose up to it, it's your loss. This game rocks!

Very good graphics, I personally thought the story was very engaging. I'm guessing I'm about half way through the game and have about 30 hours put into it. I've also logged about 10 hours of multiplayer, which I love as well.

I'm not sure what people are complaining about. Fantastic game.

Wow, what a great game. The story is intense, long and makes you forget about all of Dragon Age 2's missteps. Beautiful graphics and vast worlds, made me quickly fall in love with the game. I didn't think I would say this when I bought it, but this might just be the best game in the last 5 years.

The introduction of the game is a little slow, in my opinion, but right after the game let you go around... Wow.
Maps are huge, the scenarios are just awesome. Full of detail and beautiful spots to explore.

Dragon Age Inquisition takes the greatest aspects of a classic Bioware RPG and combines them with stunning visuals and an exploration system that is one of the best to date. Take all this and add a deep, emotional Bioware style story, and you have one of the best RPG's to date.

Amazing game, the graphics are good with only a few hiccups. The character skill variety is enough to warrant an extra play through or two. Story missions are engaging with plenty of side missions. A few too many collectables for my taste but this doesn't detract from the game. Haven't played multiplayer, not really my thing. Definitely worth your time and money if your a RPG fan.

That alone makes the game worthwhile to me as I see that as a groundbreaking new feature. This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. I've only been able to play 6 hours since release, but I can already tell this will take up a lot of my future time. The story is a little slow to start, but I haven't really cared since I've been too busy exploring. The starting location (Hinterlands) feels enormous, and you can pretty much set off in any direction and find something to do and explore.

One of my favorite parts so far *Minor Spoiler* was wandering through a Templar Camp which ended with an enormous waterfall. I used the search button while mining for ore and discovered some super-rare crafting materials, and a rare sword. While not as "open world" as say Skyrim, I'm really, really enjoying it.

The game is good, and certainly some of the best that XOne and RPG's of Next Gen have to offer.
The Story is nice and the constantly changing world is amazing!

So watch out for all those haters and fanboys and their reviews specially those who start lik2 "I'm a big DA fan....", i've seen some of them do the same post in every single console review... Also, the game just got out, how can you make a full and truly review about the game, i've only played it for 5 hours... so this review its not completely valid! As in know my experience is amazing and i got what i was expecting for. So don't play 30 hours of the game and give it a 0, surely you had some fun.

For me the downside is the amount of space... too much. Anyway I loved and i was looking forward for this game since it was announced and i was certainly looking for this DA experience, all the lore, the world everything.

Wish you could play as a warden again!!

Best Dragon Age so far. It includes the tactical combat of Origins with the fast paste combat of DA:II. This game is no longer also as linear as the others as you can jump and the world is bigger and more open. Finally, a game that can rival Skyrim.

Im not sure where the comments of it being "Unoriginal" come from, (other than from someone with down syndrome) but this game is the MOST original RPG to come out in the last 10 years, and its a THOUSAND times better than Skyrim. Also, contrary to more incorrect reviews, the game is far from a HackNSlash. It has pause Tactics, that unless your playing on easy, you will need to and want to use often. It's graphically quite beautiful, and the exploration plus both forms of combat really open the game up. I like using both combat systems, and while the level designs were lacking on DA:2, I was one of the people that loved that game (so you know where I'm coming from), mostly because the combat for playing a rogue was much improved upon Origins' terrible AI movement.

I was actually surprised by how quickly the story and motivations pulled me into this game. I shouldn't have been; BioWare is fantastic when it comes to characterization and story. Regardless, this game achieves one of those very hard things to do that so many other games I play fail at: it makes me forget I'm playing a game. I'm so absorbed in every aspect of it. It's completely engrossing, and transports me into the world of Thedas. This is, quite frankly, an RPG after my own heart. It's easily the best installment in the Dragon Age franchise, and one I'm far more likely to replay for that very same reason.

If you are an RPG fan, you owe it to yourself to give this game a real shot. I honestly can't believe why there are so many negative user reviews. People are too angry and bitter and their venom shows. 0/10? Really? That is not an honest assessment.

Inquisition easily makes it into my top three RPG video games of all time, and for that reason I'm confident to give it 10/10. Not to 'balance the negative reviews', and not to say that any game is ever truly perfect (there's always room for improvement), but because it delivers in spades everything I love about RPG games and rich storytelling.

Negate the hate! Do what you love.

The Inquisition the perfect game for me. Flawless in every way. I had so much fun that after about an hour of game play, I stopped and started over again just to experience it again!!

The graphics and voice acting are mind blowing!! After working about 2 hours to get the PERFECT look for my character, it was so cool to see him come to life with expressions and a VOICE!!! It makes me feel much more invested in my character.

I LOVE the outfits & gear!! If my STARTING gear looks this good, I can only imagine what the other gear will look like.

The LORE... OMG.. the Tapestry is friggen genius! While a bit of a pain to figure out (I'm not the smartest guy on the block) it was well worth the effort to get it up and going. The experience of picking up and reading lore, or to hear characters mention some of the details that I just completed in DAO and DA2 is sooooooo awesome!

My inquisition is like sipping a glass of Carménère... I take my time, savor each experience... read the lore along the way, check in with my friends on the Dragon Age Fb Page, read and verify interesting facts via the DA Wiki, etc.... all of this to expand my understanding of the lore. This allows me to leveraging my knowledge to create solid well planned choices along my journey.

I am totally immersed in the story. Everything has a purpose. I don't feel like I'm doing mindless "Hunt and Fetch" quests.

The took the BEST from each of the preceding games and expansions and infused it into a beautiful tapestry of fun and imagination.
