I am currently playing Disneyland Adventures on my XBOX One and I'm quite pleased with it. I originally had it for XBOX 360 Kinect and loved it! I find it much easier to use the xbox control instead of the kinect as sometimes in the attractions i couldnt reach certain items for character goals due to the kinect sensor not picking up my movement quick enough. Now i can complete the harder levels and get through them all right! Its got a brill HD remake, brillant concept of the whole park and great range of characters and attractions and tasks to get through! My only thing stopping me giving it a 9 or a 10 is that the game itself is the exact same as the xbox 360 version and there aren't any new characters or attractions or tasks. It could have been tweaked a bit to add new content to make the game even better than the xbox 360 version. I'm pleased with the HD Remake and the ability to use a controller instead of the kinect sensor. Kids would love this game and it would keep them occupied for ages. I'm 49% completed the game and look forward to finishing off the remaining tasks that the disney characters set! Expand

Disneyland Adventures is a wonderful game that literally transports you into the magic that is Disneyland. Become a kid again, dressing up your avatar in all sorts of costumes. Take selfies with Mickey and the gang. Find Alice In Wonderland’s bow. Relive the headache and love while exploring It’s A Small World. Don’t fall off the boat in Pirates of the Caribbean... as you can read..TheDisneyland Adventures is a wonderful game that literally transports you into the magic that is Disneyland. Become a kid again, dressing up your avatar in all sorts of costumes. Take selfies with Mickey and the gang. Find Alice In Wonderland’s bow. Relive the headache and love while exploring It’s A Small World. Don’t fall off the boat in Pirates of the Caribbean... as you can read..The possibilities are almost endless. One simply cannot explore all of the park in one visit or be able to afford a Disney trip. It’s even a great way to get your kids excited while they are waiting for an upcoming trip since most Disney vacations are set 6 months out. DisneyLand Adventures lets you do all of that that with endless time and joy!

Throughout the game, your progress is measured by coins you collect and it’s really simple to gain a ton quickly. You also get special pins after completing rides and or quests.
And the soundtrack...oh my goodness! Probably one of the most polished aspects of the game. Step into a new land and you are not only transported with real visuals of the actual park but your auditory senses will be filled with the sounds of the land. What masterful design. (now if they can only get the smell of chocolate chip cookies to come through the TV for Main Street…)

Playing on the Xbox One X sure still has frame rate dropping and weird blips with your avatar's hair but the color is still glorious. The environment is incredibly detailed...have I mentioned the lack of lines or wait time to take that picture or get your signature book signed by your favorites..No, I probably forgot as I was gazing at the birds, balloons and life like buildings.

Oh and Disneyland is a solo and Co-op game..no it isn’t multiplayer. But you can still run the streets with a loved one or at least person you like enough to be in your home. They won't really be able to do anything as both players movement is controlled by player 1 but they can use the special tools you’re given which is a great way to tag team collecting coins or finding items.

This is a great game!! Don’t believe me...well it’s free with Xbox game pass. Take a chance and lose yourself just for a couple of hours. I guarantee that the awkward first 10 minutes of when you’re trying to figure out if the game is fun or not will zip by and you will find yourself grinding to check off those quests. 7.8/10

Exceptional entertainment for children aged seven and up. There are many unique arcade sequences in various sections of the park that are graphically gorgeous and atmospheric as well as containing a good deal of wit and humor. The Haunted Mansion sequence is my favorite, but many of the others all possess their own charm.

Disneyland Adventure is a game, or should I say experience, that I would happily recommend for young kids and Disney Lovers. However, it is a short adventure and the conversion from a Kinect title to a controller based title for certain aspects of this updated title didn't translate well and makes it somewhat mundane at times. Disneyland Adventures is something you want to love, cherish and play over and over again, but unfortunately just doesn't have the staying power that the real Disneyland would obviously have.

Disneyland Adventures walks a fine line between triumph and disappointment. The park section is awesome, and even though the target audience means that the quests are easy, you'll still be fascinated at how much there is to do and how the park's magic translates quite well digitally. The minigames are more disappointing, since the regular controller makes some of them more difficult to play, while the appearance of bugs that weren't in the original title is equally disappointing. For a Disney aficionado, this title is still worth checking out if you can get it for cheap.

No Frozen or Brave cameos – a huge miss considering this games target audience.
