Sep 13, 2014Best game I've ever played till now. If you like Diablo and Borderlands, this game is made for you. With a big open world, great graphics, amazing soundtrack and a nice history, Destiny is everything I expected.
-
Sep 16, 2014As it seems with most online games, Destiny is more fun playing with good friends. The lore is OK, yet wholly uninspiring and unimaginative. The hype became bigger than the game, and in those regards, nothing will ever be what everyone hoped it would be, but taken at face value, the experience has been fun. It's a good game to pass a couple of hours with friends a few times a week.

Sep 11, 2014If you're expecting a traditional FPS you're going to be disappointed. Bungie did a great job establishing the ground work for the first ever MM0/RPG FPS. The Gameplay is fantastic, the environments are amazing....now about that story..Oh and dont pay attention to the 14 year olds giving this a 5 and below. They don't hate the game..they just hate themselves.

Sep 13, 2014Look. In no way is this game a 5; that's ridiculous. As soon as I started playing this game, I couldn't put it down. This is truly one of the greatest game I have ever played, with great atmosphere, awesome models and stunning graphics. If you are thinking about buying this game, do. Without hesitation. Trust me, you will not be dissapointed.

Sep 15, 2014Fantastic game that will grow and change over time. The most MMO-like experience I've had on a console, though the social features of the MMO are going to evolve, I hope. Challenging game at times that I hope will change and grow over the next few years.

Nov 1, 2014Okay I am submitting a new review after hearing about the expansion pack. Bungie want's 20 dollars for a DLC with very little content and are selling the DLC to sony users for the exact same price with 33% more content. Don't waste your money.

Sep 10, 2014Storyline nearly as weak as Titanfall.
Uncreative FPS, reach destination and kill waves until your ghost is done (insert task here).
No proximity chat (A universe full of Guardi-- Mimes..). -

Sep 9, 2014The game is very weak, exaggerated hype for a game without a decent story that is simply going from point A to B and kill enemies, not to mention the AI of this game that is extremely ugly ... I pity those who fell in this game Marketing , FAIL of the year, congratulations Bungie for this bomb

Sep 9, 2014Borderlands + Halo + Mass effect with a MMO twist to it... simply amazing. There is a very solid PVP in this game, sure it's not balanced or competitive as Halo (especially the coming Halo 5!), but it's still very solid.
Ton of content solo, coop, pvp, "raids", dynamic events... it really is its own thing, love it! easily a 9/10. -

X-ONE Magazine UKNov 8, 2014It's a slick, mechanically sound, and lavishly produced shooter that uses beauty to try and mask the potentially great but uninspired gameplay inside. [Issue#117, p.62]
-
Oct 21, 2014Destiny feels like the key elements of an FPS and an MMO gently resting shoulder to shoulder, instead of being fused together in a truly creative way. It plays and looks great, and offers many, many hours of entertainment to anyone okay with repeating the same tasks, but it isn’t exactly the game-changing science fiction epic we felt it was aspiring to.
-
Hyper MagazineOct 16, 2014An ambitious if repetitive combination of shooter and loot based ARPG. A boost in loot drop frequency could definitely boost the fun/score. [Issue#254, p.47]
