    Harmonix proves once again that they are the masters of Kinect: The movement recognition is almost flawless. The decision to shrink everything down to downloadable snack size is not that convincing though. Nonetheless this is still worth to sink your teeth in.

    The game also scales in difficulty, making it the ultimate casual party game while also allowing the dedicated to master complicated dance routines, all while providing a proper workout.

    Rather than beef up the feature list, Harmonix has taken the opposite approach: it's slimmed down the game, offered way more value, and removed the obstacles between you and just getting out there and dancing. It's a different take on Dance Central, but the party is just as fun as ever.

    Precision in the motion tracking is everything for a game like this, and it works most of the time. One of the best of its genre.

    If you're looking for a good party game to enjoy with your friends, this will be a good choice. Just be aware that the few tracks included will quickly wear out and you'll soon need to buy additional ones.

It's $10 price tag will easily make it worth a gamble investment. The game is definitely meant for families and friends since there's little to reward or engage individual players (other than mastering the material). The promise of expansive DLC that will be available for $2 per track (unless special sales hit the DCS store) is great since you can customize the game soundtrack without paying $50 for a playlist that you may love/hate. Still, $2 a song is a bit steep since you're not getting much. There isn't quite enough DLC at launch to merit a purchase from myself, so the hope that the store explodes quickly is definitely in play for me.… Full Review »
