    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Advertised that it was going to playable on current gen consoles. CDPR released this game and it is completely unplayable. It takes around 10-20 seconds to render any texture within the game. The game crashes randomly when you are ealking around. The graphics are so bad that they hurt my eyes.     Игра нереально крута. Играю с самого запуска на ПК и оторваться не могу, забыл поспать. Из минусов могу отметить неровную оптимизацию и баги на ПК. Мои системки: Core i5-9600, RTX 2060 Super, 32ГБ оперативы и MVME SSD, но даже и при таком раскладе игра в 1080p идет не ровно с лучами. Геймплей захватил, персонажи очень интересные, атмосфера невероятная. Не сомневаюсь, что разработчикиИгра нереально крута. Играю с самого запуска на ПК и оторваться не могу, забыл поспать. Especially after the crazy patch they put out on day 2, the game runs smooth as silk for me. The soundtrack is incredible, the story is way crazier than I thought it would be, and the combat is crazy diverse. The size of the city vertically as well as just general square mileage astounds me. It looks incredible on my 1X. The frames are good and the load times aren't bad. People have a right to be upset about the videos I've seen on original xbox 1 and ps4, but critic bombing it like EA's Anthem seems extreme to me. Maybe that's just me. I would give this a 9/10 for the problems I encountered at launch, but I'd like to try and combat the stupid amounts of bombing just for the sake of joining a trend in cancel culture. I also haven't played it all the way through. TLDR: It's exactly what I expected and sometimes more, so I'm not upset in the least.    … Expand

    This is litteraly the worst game ever on PS4, thank God to ixbt channel to properly showing the gameplay during the midning of december 10th, and now i have to wait another 5-6 months at least to play this game. Like 'cmon??

    Game is trash! Crashes every 10 minutes and when it's not crashing, it's lagging or sputtering or glitching in countless other ways - and the worst part is, even without all of the bugs, the game pretty much blows anyways - might be a 2 or 3 if it ran without bugging out constantly. As it is, it's a pile of steaming feces - I want my money back!

    Yes, it is buggy and the textures are not great. I've been fortunate to not experience any game breaking bugs as of yet, and sometimes the degraded quality of the images bums a bit. However, the writing, the quests, and the systems/RPG elements just click for me. The gender representation (in specific regards to Trans and Queer folk) definitely warrants discussion, and the **** of AsianYes, it is buggy and the textures are not great.     Xbox Series S: This game plays and looks great on the XSS. Even though the XSS is playing the One S version right now, it doesn’t feel like the one s version. The frame rate stays at 30fps even on the very intense moments. It looks very clear. Billboards and graffiti are not blurry. The story for the game is fun with a lot of action. This game definitely feels and plays like a next-genXbox Series S: This game plays and looks great on the XSS. It’s playable with these bugs but sometimes bugs such as objects and people appearing out of nowhere, enemies being unaware of you and etc. Also, why is Night City so empty. The city feels so lifeless. The reactions from other characters on the street need some work. Overall, the game is good but with a few fixes, the game will be a 10/10.… Expand

    I'm playing it on XSX and I absolutely love the game! Huge open world map and amazing innovative gameplay (quick hacking, stealth, hitman, ect.). Hope this wins GOTY award for 2021.

Valhalla had true bugs, quests breaking half way through, entire quest lines never triggering, pets running offYes, there are glitches, but nothing I have experienced has stopped my enjoyment of the game. Cyberpunk has none of this. Graphical glitches last a fraction of a second while assets load, bad textures, popping textures, NPC appearing in-frame, all minor. I get a slight frame drop in the badlands (long horizon shots slow me up) but the city area has been fine. The reason this is a 9 for me and not a 10, is the restricted romance options. One per gender/orientation is a disappointment. But the game is massive and exciting, the emotions got me from the start. Yes, it’s a slow burn, but I plan on taking my time with this massive RPG, not rushing through it. I’m loving my time as V, and the minor graphical hiccups aren’t going to ruin an amazing story and fascinating world.… Expand

    Yes, I've seen the gameplay on poor hardware - it doesn't look good, as there are tons of assets to be loaded, so they had to make a quality compromise. maybe you should invest in better hardware instead of complaining.
    The game is not as good as the Witcher 3, but surely has a great potential.

    Im giving it a 10. Why? Because, its an excellent game. Story is amazing and I love the neon setting in night city.. Yes the game is buggy. But they are putting a patch out on Dec 15th. Also this game delivers a big "F You" to journalists. SJW's hate it but real gamers love it. Thank you CDPR and all the real gamers stand up.

    Pre-ordered, had my expectations in check, and knew what I was getting into.

    Nope.

    This game is a mess. I played it on the Xbox One X and it is a technical disaster. Do not buy this game. At some point it will likely be worth your money, but today is not that day.

    The release date quality of Cyberpunk 2077 on Xbox One is totally unacceptable. CD Projekt deserves to be ruined if they don't do something on the development side to fix this situation.

    Total mess of a game on xbox, I feel cheated by CD Project and hope they hurry up and fix it as I cant get a refund and stuck with a game thats unplayable, if they cant fix it Im going to sell it on ebay, GTA5 is better than this game and it runs really well, I wont buy anything from CD Project again!

    I was a huge fan of CD Projekt RED for 13+ years (since the first Witcher) and I liked the GOG's policy, despite preferring other platforms for their functionality. I really didn't want to bring this up, but the GOG/CDPR actions and attitude left me no choice.

    The Cyberpunk 2077 is raw, unpolished and bugged as hell. The more I play — the more broken quests, "silent" dialogues and other    I was a huge fan of CD Projekt RED for 13+ years (since the first Witcher) and I liked the GOG's policy, despite preferring other platforms for their functionality. I really didn't want to bring this up, but the GOG/CDPR actions and attitude left me no choice.

    The Cyberpunk 2077 is raw, unpolished and bugged as hell. The more I play — the more broken quests, "silent" dialogues and other technical issues I get. I was sending bug reports and suggestions to the CDPR support since release, but I haven't got any replies. Zero. Not even automatic ones, so I don't know if they even check them or no. There are no answers, there are no patches, there is no roadmap. The day-one patch arrived on GOG later than on other platforms and after that only two useless "hotfixes" were released (it didn't fix anything for me). No real patches for a month, no new hotfixes for weeks. The Russian localization is terrible and Galaxy client resetting the language preferences every time I launch the game. (There is no such problem on other stores). And the client still crashes ten times per day.

    I've heard a lot of complaints about optimization, but at least I don't have any significant problems on that front despite some minor fps drops and object popping. Though I've built my PC especially for Cyberpunk and my TV supports only 1080p resolution at 60fps which is likely the main reason I’ve got an ok performance.

    GOG/CDPR stuff keep ignoring all problems with Cyberpunk and Galaxy launcher, but this isn't the only problem they prefer to turn a blind eye for. Some of you may know that they decided to cancel the long-awaited release of an indie game Devotion on GOG to please some Chinese bots. They've slaughtered the game without any reasons (the little placeholder with the hurtless joke was completely removed from the game years ago). And the main problem in this situation that GOG staff answered on Twitter bot messages within a few hours by fully cancelling the promised release not only for China but for the rest of the world too. At the same time, they keep ignoring thousands of their own customers for weeks. They’ve just silently deleted the announcement and cancellation posts without any official statement/explanation/comment, ignoring all questions and support tickets about their decision. Just check the GOG’s Community Wishlist — it is the most requested game of December and January. This is just another sign that GOG/CDPR changed their policy from being pro-customer to being pro-money. It isn't the first call, but it can be the last one for many loyal customers. Censorship can't be tolerated, especially political censorship — I'm sick of this **** in my everyday life.

    So, after all of this, I’ve got really disappointed. I tend to buy way more games than I have time to play. And I prefer playing on another platform, but I used to buy second copies of the games I like on GOG only because I liked it's policy, customer-oriented service and wanted to support my favourite devs. But this isn't the thing anymore. I haven't even played 99% of the games I've bought on GOG, so, I've tried to request a refund for them. And they refused.

    GOG support has finally answered on my ticket. First of all, they've completely ignored all my questions about Devotion. Secondly, they've refused to refund anything (not a single game from 340+ in my library!) They've also refused to comment on the bugs and estimated release of next patch for Cyberpunk 2077. (They've told me to contact "CDPR official channels" that haven't answered to support tickets in a month). Finally, they've refused to partly refund my physical copy of Cyberpunk 2077 so I could get the Steam version instead (I don't want to be forced to buy future addons on GOG and use their broken launcher anymore). They've told me that I should refund my physical collector's edition where I've bought it. But it isn't possible after you've opened the box and used the activation code. Well, I will be waiting for heavily discounted GOTY/Director's Cut/Enhanced edition on other platforms then.

    I was supporting and advertising GOG for years. I've bought all CDPR games on release, including collector's editions and versions for different platforms (not to mention figurines and tons of other merch). I didn't expect that these companies’ management will start to wipe their feet on its loyal customers. I’ve missed the moment when they turned into EA/Activision siblings, but as far as history shows — it's the one-way road in this industry.

    This is the last game I've bought on GOG. In the current state, I can't recommend it to anyone, nor I can recommend this platform anymore. I'm disgusted by GOG/CDPR recent actions and their new priorities. I'm disappointed by the way they've decided to handle situations around failed Cyberpunk launch and Devotion censorship. Their reaction (the lack of it) on customers' feedback is a disgrace and I regret supporting them so much…    … Expand

The story is not even that good, as some people seem to suggest; it is really too short, cliché and lacks of depth. Unlike The Witcher, this is their first original story...

    It's a great game but the bugs really take their toll..Other amazing innovative games like Fall out and KKD had bugs but not this bad..The worst thing is they get worse the longer you play, so when the story is really picking up their is jenk pulling you out of the experience..The console version is miles from acceptable , still..But there really is a potential masterpeice under it all.

    Great game. Great story. This is not watchdogs as some people claim. It's light years ahead of that franchise. The main story line is very interesting and side missions are useful and enjoyable. Recommend you play this on hard or very hard depending on your skill level. Not the type of game you want to fly through. More engaging than the Witcher series and combat is decent. ItGreat game.     Launch bugs aside: the game is not bad for its genre: but it's really really derivative and nothing original.     I almost wish I were under 17, so my parents could stop me from playing it, as I really do find it that boring. Before release there were stories of crunch in development and the warning signs of a review embargo (Because of CD project Reds record we gave them the benefit of a doubt). Then the game was released and it was a shocking disappointment. For clarification: I checked the Xbox just out of curiosity after the PS4 game and say they are both nearly unplayable at release. The PC version is better and if you cant wait you should go for it Warning: There is a now seemingly patched bug that corrupts your save-file when it gets bigger than 8 MB atop of less but still numerous bugs than the console versions. The bugs contain but are not limited to: Slow downs, crashes, graphical glitches (atop on ugly graphics), teleportation / moving through wall characters, NPCs gone missing, hovering in mid air weapons / objects and KI doing hilarious funny stuff. This game was shipped unfinished and it not an accident as the bugs could not be missed. It is the intentional “Release it now and fix it later“ mentality that broke the game. Sadly I see the great game underneath it all and I think this makes it even worse. Gameplay-wise it is also not polished enough as many parts don't feel smooth. However this could just be me. I disliked the hacking first and the melee combat would be far better in third person view for example. I think they should have taken more time to fix the numerous bugs and improve the gameplay. This could be one of the greatest mistakes of a game publisher. The fans are up in arms, the investors feel cheated (and sued CD Project Red), the stocks were down at the time of writing and the great reputation is destroyed or at least tainted. This will not be forgotten as there is no way that people will see this malpractice as accident. Overall avoid this game at the current state! Wait until there is a version available were patches fix the problems of the game (Can take a while as there are many). Maybe there will be a rerelease in a better state.… Expand

    OK, this is a true review based on my six hours of gameplay so far.

    Graphics: 4/10 Story: 10/10 Sound: 9/10 FPS: 4/10 Overall Quality: 5/10 There is a lot of truth regarding low quality textures and things just popping in. The game crashes all the time and frame rates drop to under 20fps.     One of the best games i have ever played. The graphics are awesome, it has excellent story and quest design. Cool character mechanics and deep customization, the soundtrack is one of the best in games and it really represents the game. Keep your game updated.

I have had consoles since the PS1/PS2 era. Maybe I was fortunate in the past, but it makes it very difficult to give this game anything but a mediocre score if it's unplayable as it was intended to be experience. All of that said this game has the most vibrant, lived in setting I have ever seen. The voice acting alone has me coming back after every frustrating game crash because it is easily some of the best I've experienced. My biggest issue with this game, outside of the technical ones, is I don't really have a sense of what I'm supposed to be doing. Most of the time that's okay because there's so much to take in, but the tutorial level was frankly garbage. I'm so tired of VR tutorials. It's what a hack developer would do for their game (pun intended). I'm also in a little bit of shock at the core game loop and the action elements of this game. They feel old and dated. That's compounded because the controls are stiff and gun play at first is very loose as you need to progress and make your recoil and aim better and tighter. As far as the game play is concerned I'm not sure if the mission based "go here and do this" main quests/side quest really does anything but bring the game down because the behind the wheel driving physics are definitely lacking and getting anywhere in the car sucks me right out of the game. The hacking mechanic is fine, but ultimately confusing at first because there is SOOO much to keep an eye on for leveling your character and how your "RAM," or the cost of hacking, is utilized and necessary to execute any hack. The hacking mini game however still makes no sense to me and I will have to look up what it is they want me to do when that is happening.

    I'm having fun in the game in spite of the above issues. I like the characters. I love the world and it's potential and I know in time this game will get patched. I know in time there will more content. However, this is the game that was released and the best I see this deserves is a somewhere in the land of mediocre.    … Expand

    This is the most ambitious Single player RPG I've ever played and could have been one of the best of all time if it wasn't for it's performance on last ten consoles.     За 20 часов всего 2 бага что вполне адекватно для любой игры на релизе. Не знаю что ноют консольщики купившие девайс для игры за какие-то 20 тысяч, но на Series X - игра выглядит хайпово!

    First 10 hours was a 8 rating for me. The origin story was fantastic and unique, and my expectation was that this would continue throughout the game. Initially world looks amazing. But then the glitches, poor AI and shallow gameplay reveals itself. Half baked game. Played on series X.

    Play the xbox one game on a series s. It runs surprisingly well, resolution isn't that good but I didn't experienced a lot of bugs. in these 3 days I played my game crashed one Time that's all. Story is very good.

    I usually never pre-order video games as a rule, but on the strength of Witcher 3 and reputation of CDPR, I pulled the trigger this time. What a mistake.

    The release of Cyberpunk is a clear example of why you should NEVER pre-order video games, no matter who creates or releases them.

    If the mighty CDPR can release rubbish like this, then NO ONE can be trusted anymore.

I just walk around and stare at the environments. The story is one of the few that I never skip a cutscene. There are minor glitches but nothing I would have noticed had it not been for reviews.     Que decir que no se haya dicho ya, la estafa del siglo, hazte un favor a ti mismo y no gastes el dinero en este juego y menos al precio que intentan venderlo. Una pena por qué the Witcher estaba bastante bien, tuvo fallos al principio pero lo de esto ... Lo vendieron como la panacea ysl final no llega a cumplir, es más, se queda corto de llegar nisiquiera a considerarse como un juego completo.

So many bugs in this game, some game breaking like not being able to draw a weapon, some random deaths, I got on a bike it did nothing, I got on the bike next to it , rode for about 50 meters before it blew up and I flew to the outer edges of the badlands in what must have been a nuke exploding. Not being able to select different dialogue options and having to go with the first one, the bugs are endless much like the area of Night city, there are many things you can do but probably wont, like scanning and hacking, yeah you can do it but why when you can just run in slash evertyone with a sword and be out again in 2 minutes with another bag of cash, you might want to go the non lethal route but with a sword you say, there is an eye implant that turns all your weapons to non lethal ,not sure what magic they use here but it works, sword no longer dices enemies into pieces. lots of missions are thrown at you and trying to workout what they all are is pretty hard to the point I just used my map and went to the closist one which is not very RPG, Characters in main story are well created although Keanu Reeves still cant act, if you're the type of player that likes to grind for an item then this game will get it's hooks into you as there are hundreds of things to upgrade or buy. Graphics are not Red Dead standard or even GTA V and while its big I'm not sure it's much bigger than watchdogs legion ( I could be wrong ) but that has far more impressive graphics, sometimes it actually looks like it has last last generation roots. But on a whole I'm enjoying this far more than Valhalla… Expand

There are things I dont like about the game storywise, mainly the romance options being locked to specific genders even though you can turn yourself into whatever you want, be it trans, straight, or gay, but making it where an NPC only likes a specific gender is a little BS but it is what it is. The only reason I'm giving this a 9 is because I know if I had a better console thats what the game deserves it not the games nor is it CD Project Reds fault I can't afford a higher priced system so my rating shouldn't be based on something thats my fault, it should be based on the game itself.     I can live with the crap graphics but the glitches and sometimes unplayable framerate just breaks it for me. It crashed twice in a few hours. The game is great on pc, one x, ps4 pro and next gen consoles but at least for now hold off on these base consoles versions until they roll some patches out

    I played this game on my xbox one X. The graphics are underwhelming. There is major pop in and the frame rate is horrible. I also am dealing with frequent crashes and bugs everywhere. The AI behave extremely poorly. With all of this there is absolutely no immersion. I'm extremely disappointed with this game.

    I'm playing on One X and the game bugs out a bit but it is still a hugely impressive game with a highly detailed world to explore and fun gunplay, although the melee combat seems a bit off. This certainly isn't as bad as the critic and user scores suggest but I guess you can't take into account the One X version separately.     Many people give very low rate for bugs. But they forget that cyberpunk is game of the year for its gameplay. Sometime one little choise has impact on many other things... I also think game should be olny for new, xbox series x and ps5 consoles and pc. Old generation has nor enough horse power. 1.8 teraflop is not enough... Thats the problem

    Terrible ass game. Cant play it past 69 minutes. My xbox is stuck at 420 frames and cant continue past Norman Feetus, i mean Johny Wick and Neo Silverthand. And yeah my game froze up a few times during my 5 hours of play but if I recall correctly one of the greatest games of all time(Skyrim) is still a glitchfest even 15 years after release!     It just sucks getting a game breaking bug at the very end of the tutorial stage twice where Jackie won't leave the factory and you can't re-enter lol so i've wasted almost 10 hr's doing this to this point and can't continue the game. Xbox has already denied me a refund and CDPR keeps telling me to contact them.

I’m playing on Series X and have had no crashes or game breaking bugs after 30 hours, but even without the bugs the game is hollow. I’ve uninstalled it and will be waiting until they eventually add life and content. Release now and fix later should not be the normal, especiallyCDPR, you’re better than this.     I found this game pretty good, the story, gameplay and the Characters. The performance is not good (right now) I really hope they will patch the game and fix the issues. This game so great.

    Okay so , CDPR tried to blind us with good story , but no no no ..... That ain't happening , the game seems like it's in alpha stage , either the Devs were in a midst of creating it or it seems like utter laziness , either way don't buy the game , save your money ... Buy it on a sale (I wonder how dared they sell it in full price even after so much negative reviews and bad media )

    Juegazo, nunca hubo un juego con tanto cuidado al entorno y a la historia, sorprende al jugarlo, lo que me sorprende es que la gente se queje de que un juego de 2020 con tanta carga grafica, no les funcione bien en una consola de 2013, ya sacrificaron bastante para acomodarlo a la versión, y el juego es totalmente jugable

    Yes, the game has flaws, it’s buggy and laggy. But if you overlook that aspect, the core is amazing. Great story, fun missions (all side missions are very unique and different and include humour at times) I’m in love with the gunplay, characters and world( doesn’t look too good in 3rd if your driving). It will be fixed but for now it’s an 8 I can’t go higher, fix the bugs and    SERIES X

    Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.

    Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)
