Playing this game on XSX via back compat.
Even on a next-gen console game working very mediocre.
Bugs ang glitches goes on from a first 5 minutes of gameplay. Got by myself couple of freezes, one time when I've done with hacking , it's graphivally freezed as I"m hacking but sounds goes like I can move and use my weapons. This hell of a game even once turned off my XSX. And of course

This hell of a game even once turned off my XSX.
And of course Items you cannot grab/hard to grab, npc mouths not opening , some sounds not working time to time, people staying in a T pose, sitting in a walls , and many many more.

But if it would be only problem I would say ok...
My biggest dissapointment is a open world - NPCs at best knows 1 phrase. Stores and Street food where you cant just buy anything, shooting high level ordinary gangster models looks like MMO type of gamplay when you're shhoting full clip of assault rifle to a head and it does almost no damage, And really boring side missions which I never expected from creators of witcher 3.
System of levels and percs did not best visualised and not really getting a lot of new mechnics.
Small map when you're drivining getting you to skip a lot of turns , cause it's simply showing too small amount of world.

Is there something to love in a game ? For sure
Design and an atmosphere are really amazing, but graphics quality and bugs not helping to enjoy this world.
Open world looks detailed and great to travel on , but it's not really interactive and graphics again...
Cool shooting and melee mechanics, but when you getting a combat with tough guys its becoming really slow and boring.
A huge bunch of side activities, but same mechanics you can get in any other OW game and mostly no interesting stories. Man, it was better on AC Valhalla...
Astonishing story and characters is the thing why you would love a game.
And I'm playing on a XSX , have no idea what I would feel about it if I would launch it on Original xbox one.

What I think about it - It could be a game of gen, but cdpr decided to launch a beta-version and sold it for a full price. Hiding a truth and predicting they never knew about how bad it works on consoles...
    Really really sad.
Dont buy this game if you dont have a top Pc or at least XSX...

There is no way on earth that the executives involved with this very ambitious disaster of a game were not aware that they were straight up ripping off console users.

Play on One X instead of One. Best RPG I ever played. Map is amazing. Fighting can be however you want. Lots of customization with your character. Enemies drop their weapons always unlike The Outer Worlds. Cars get better as you get better ones. Side quests are amazing. Characters are well scripted. 10/10.

Horrendous experience. With a lack of fps and resolution, the experience is extremely disorientating and even nauseating at times. Especially during combat. I'd also add that the story and characters are amazing with lot's of interesting sidequests. But even that has it's flaws in my opinion. The backstory choices are incredibly short and have no impact on the story afterwards whatsoever.Horrendous experience. Yes, you have unique dialogue options but you'll soon find that all the options more often than not lead to the same results anyway. The world itself is amazing and, even though it's hard to see on Xbox One, is still a masterwork of a city. But if you were to take away the story, sidequests and characters, it would be an extremely shallow one. There's incredibly bad A.I. for NPC's, nor when they're driving. The police system, or lack thereof, is a joke too because they simply spawn in behind you no matter what. To add fuel to the fire, there aren't even police chases all. Meanwhile you can hardly interact with anything or anybody in the city. every NPC seems to have 2 lines, all shopping stands or markets are there for looks and nothing else, no NPC's react to you unless you point a gun at them. Animation is terrible too Expand

Played on Xbox series X. Graphics are great, ran into some bugs. Was blown away by the world design, memorable characters and overall narrative. It is a great game worthy of praise, if one can look past its current flaws.

Polecam

The games is a great relief for true rpg fans, you have to spec wisely, no push a button and reset character skills making each character build unique, I like this game, yes it’s had some bugs but I’ve been having a blast and that’s all that matters to me!

I didn’t give it a zero, because it’s not completely unplayable, but it’s damn close at times. Cyberpunk 2077 is a prime example of a developer’s and publisher’s greed ruling the day. The fact that CD Projekt Red only sent out PC copies to be reviewed should have been a huge red flag, but I let my faith in them, after games like The Witcher showcased what they can do, take over. I shouldI didn’t give it a zero, because it’s not completely unplayable, but it’s damn close at times. I should have known better, but so should they. They purposely hid the fact that Cyberpunk performed like hot garbage on base Xbox One and PS4 consoles, because they knew people like me would preorder the game based off their history of putting out high quality, AAA, open-world RPGs. Cyberpunk felt more like a looter shooter than an RPG at times, too. That alone would be fine, but the absolute piss poor performance with the grainy, even after turning off the film grain effect, fuzziness to the graphics(looking in the mirror was just terrible), the constant pop-ins of assets up to ten plus seconds later, and the god awful screen tearing is downright unacceptable. That doesn’t even touch on the actual gameplay aspects. It seems at times that the auto-aim wouldn’t want to work. Sometimes it’d snap to an enemy. Others it wouldn’t. The dialogue at times was laughable. Not in a good way. It sounded like they did one take and went with whatever came out of the actor’s mouth. The dialogue for male V had almost zero inflection or emotion to it. There was also odd pauses in dialogue mid sentence at times. I don’t know if they pieced together different takes or the performance is so bad on base Xbone that the dialogue itself was studdering/experiencing lag. They knew what they were doing for the sake of preorder sales, and they should be ashamed. They’re not ashamed, because they got our money, but they should be, At least, they had my money. As soon as I read their “apology” letter stating they’d have a “fix” around February of 2021, I jumped all over the refund button through Microsoft. Cyberpunk 2077 should be the nail in the coffin for preordering a game for all of us gamers. Never again should we give any studio our money before we know they didn’t hand us crap and a half assed apology promising better next time. I know I’m done preordering anything. Expand

Just bought Cyberpunk 2077 for the second time on xbsx to support the developer's impressive vision for open world building. The atmosphere and design is very reminisent og Deus Ex, and the options for character development and interactions are complex and satisfying. There are bugs but they will be squashed! A rare rpg-action gem!

Deserves the hate that it's getting, predatory gaming studio practice is becoming far too normalised. The game runs awfully, it's unfinished and simply does not deliver as advertised. It should be treated as any other product that is not as advertised, it's a scam. If you enjoy it, sure, but you're further convincing game studios that this kind of behaviour is acceptable.

Man, this game looks miserable. This is not (only) about the performance, this game also has a huge number of general bugs visible on any platform no matter whether you play on the base X1 or the high-end PC with top-notch video adapter.
The artists did a great job so did the composers, but the story is lateral and this game has a LOT of very annoying bugs. I don't know how the platforms

Don't recommend the game at least for now. This deception of the devoted audience should not be tolerated.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Yes, in this version of the game CDPR fail in many ways. Bugs, FPS drops in combat and a lower graphic quality, however this does not take away the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 is a very good game, with a huge open world where you cannot advance 100 meters without there being something to do. Let's hope they solve their problems soon because it may become the game of the year 2021. Expand

Great world building and great writing. And excellent RPG. Playing on a Series X. I’ve had a few bugs. Nothing major. No crashes. Had 7 second freezes but it always fixes itself. Outside of some bugs and performance issues Cyberpunk 2077 is a fantastic game.

I had the game preloaded on my XSX and began playing the second it was launched in my location. Initially I noticed it was blurry about 50% of the time. I was slightly annoyed by this considering I really enjoy clarity and high res games but I knew that CDPR would patch the problem. In just 4 days I have put about 40 hours into the game and I will honestly say that it bugs out on me 2-3 times a day. Most of the bugs are very minor like an NPC clipping through a wall. It has not outright crashed on me, yet.

The game was patched this weekend and once it was the blur is gone and I must say it is a damn beautiful game on the XSX. The only other real negative I have found in the game is the fact that the cars are a bit too bouncy for my personal taste when you drive them.

In the 40 hours I have played I have played hardly any of the story missions. I have had so much fun exploring Night City and doing side jobs to earn money. Keanu Reeves is amazing in the game. I purchased the game managing my expectations knowing it would not be like The Witcher 3. I actually hoped it wouldn't and am glad its unique.

I have been waiting for this game since it was announced, 8 years. I will say I was surprised it was so buggy after 8 years but honestly I was also sick of waiting for the game. V is a great character to play in the game and the voice acting is amazing. All in all this game is an extremely good game and one of my top 5 games for life. I know CDPR will patch it sooner or later and all of the childish complaining should stop soon after. I remember Witcher 3 wasn't perfect at launch either so manage your expectations.

    PLAY THIS GAME!!!!!

I love this game. The world is huge and feels lived in, voice acting is great and the characters are genuine. Combat feels solid and dynamic and hacking stuff is so much fun. The graphics could be better but that says more about the hardware than the game. This game is an 8 right now while waiting for patches but otherwise I would give it a 10. Im having a blast with it!

It’s because of this fun gameplay and this great story that it’s such a shame Cyberpunk 2077 performs like it’s still in alpha.

Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.

Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)
