    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Game is empty. There is no flight. No flying cars, helicopters, etc.. There is no way to un-track quests. The driving is clunky. There is no third person on foot, yet a customizable avatar -- makes no sense. The console versions are even emptier, but all your missing are blank NPCs. There are hardly any interior spaces that can be explored in free roam. There is virtually no way to access the verticality of NC. The game is just an empty shell with a short storyline. There are no memorable collectibles or any way to decorate your apt. The gun room is just a blank canvas with no way to add weapons to it.Etcetera. It's not a good sandbox game.     Horrible. Visual and audio glitches were despicable for how long this has been in development. Driving and combat mechanics were weak as could be. Story was cool but game is overhyped should of been delayed till 2077.

    Es inaceptable lo que ha hecho CDP. Siendo un ambiente e historia espectacular. La optimizacion del juego hace la experiencia mala, imposible de jugar y con una sensación de estar jugando a un juegode la década pasada. Una gran decepción.

    Bad. A let down in every aspect; the key word being hollow. The action is boring, the missions are lame, and the entire mechanics behind the game are unsatisfactory/unsatisfying to use. Hard pass unless you hate yourself.

    If this game was originally intended to launch on next gen consoles i wouldn’t even bother reviewing but this is inexcusable and should honestly be illegal to lie this much about console performance. It is BAD on original Xbox one. Would ask for a refund but i know where that request will end up lmao. Save your time and money if you have an old console.

    Buggy, crashs, game breaking glitches, etc. The only saving grace this game has is its story which is pretty good, but that dosent cover the completely broken state it was released

    Horrendous experience. With a lack of fps and resolution, the experience is extremely disorientating and even nauseating at times. Especially during combat. I'd also add that the story and characters are amazing with lot's of interesting sidequests. But even that has it's flaws in my opinion. The backstory choices are incredibly short and have no impact on the story afterwards whatsoever.Horrendous experience. But if you were to take away the story, sidequests and characters, it would be an extremely shallow one. There's incredibly bad A.I. for NPC's, nor when they're driving. The police system, or lack thereof, is a joke too because they simply spawn in behind you no matter what. To add fuel to the fire, there aren't even police chases all. Meanwhile you can hardly interact with anything or anybody in the city. every NPC seems to have 2 lines, all shopping stands or markets are there for looks and nothing else, no NPC's react to you unless you point a gun at them. Their only possible reaction when you start shooting is to duck and cover their heads.
    Driving in Night City feels terrible too. Not only because it feels like you are driving in a 2005 game, but also because in this megalopolis you can find an average of three cars as you drive by an avenue, not to mention drivers won't react to any of your actions but honking.
    The weapon and loot system don't work for me either. The game kind of invites you to loot tons of garbage, as for the weapons, the upgrade system doesn't make much sense when you are finding a slightly better weapon every minute.
    AI is close to nonexistent.
    Night City is an empty city with nothing to do in it.

    The list could go on, but my main complaint is about CDPR since they felt like a unicorn in this cheating gaming industry we have. Not anymore.
    They have been fueling our expectations to release this unplayable, unfinished, and lackluster supposed to be RPG, which fails to fulfill the promises they made when promoting it. The only words that come to mind are scam and disappointment.

    Gets the 1 for having an entertaining main story shadowed by any other aspect of the game, from design and bugs to an advertisement campaign built around lies.

Everything is extremely low res, and the city is almost completely empty. There are very few NPCs or cars to be seen and next to nothing that can be interacted with. The city... I don't know what else to say except that it is more barren and has worse NPC AI than GTA 3, and the game looks worse than GTAV on the 360 in a direct comparison. Parts of it remind me of the original Deus Ex... not as in they were inspired by the original Deus Ex, as in parts of it actually look like the original Deus Ex. Deus Ex was released in June 2000.

    This is just a very badly-made game, and I don't think patches and dlc will fix it. It is underwhelming as an open world game, and as an RPG as well. Choices in quests don't really matter, your cybernetics don't really matter, you cannot give your character a haircut much less see their progressive cyborg-ification. Frankly nothing really matters, it is essentially a simple open world shooter/action game with light RPG elements. Cybernetics just add a bit of flavor to the combat sequences, which are extremely linear and are plagued by the same bad NPC AI that I mentioned earlier. Honestly, between the empty city with no one to interact with and no buildings to enter and nothing to explore, the lack of any meaningful effect for any of your choices, the lack of any meaningful effect for your choice in cybernetics, the very limited dialogue options, the pointlessness of crafting, the linear combat sequence... I don't think this game is actually an RPG. It is about as much of an RPG as Arkham City, and runs worse. I can't recall a game being such a massive let down in every aspect, from technical stuff to game design. Yikes. I got a refund.    … Expand

It is instead a dizzying experience where your eyes have to readjust constantly, after less than an hours play my eyes were bloodshot and i had to stop. Every time an objective is completed, it's a crapshoot if the game will even recognize it. There are fundamental problems with the game that were purposefully obfuscated in order to sell more pre-orders. The driving is ridiculous, the NPCs disappear at random. The objectives will have wrong tasks. It's like they didn't tests it at all. That is actually the most hopeful explanation. Because if they did test this and released it in this current state.     The game will randomly crash and the frame rate is terrible. I play on the Xbox one X so everything loads well, however the game runs worse than a crippled Thomas the Tank engine

Ultimately, this version of the game is buggy beyond belief:frequent crashes, performance issues, +every other issue that is also on pc. This game suffers utter lack of optimization in that regard, as well as in its fundamental systems. Unlike CDPR, I cant just pretend that the RPG element was practically doublethinked away into oblivion. That is something they sold everyone on, and the RPG systems were so shallow (no customization, little meaningful choices, no real differentiation in beginnings, an absolutely lifeless city) that they quietly rebranded it as a "open-world action-adventure" game. What an absolute wasted opportunity to create a game using the Cyberpunk ip (which actually started out as a tabletop rpg, btw). Ultimately, I LOVE the game for the story, yet am actually depressed by what they thought was good enough. They are literally acting as the corps in the story, ironically embracing the ideals of Cyberpunk that were swept by in development.… Expand

    I highly anticipated this game for years and this is what we get? A lifeless city with hardly any immersion. They advertised this game as huge immersive open world game and it’s not close to that. It is open world but even that has an extent because you cannot hardly immersive into it! You get in trouble with the law and you run ONE block down the street and suddenly they give up trying to catch you. You do something bad and they randomly appear behind you. It makes absolutely no sense and how overpowered they are. Shooting mechanics is a let down as well. I’ve found myself recoiling all over an enemy target or suddenly my weapon stops firing at the target. When I’d aim at an enemy shooting me, at times, it wouldn’t let me shoot back at all. Totally disengaged. You can own an apartment but yet can do anything with it. Cant customize it or buy new ones. Gameplay would be come super laggy or glitchy especially when driving. It’s almost like the game has a slight graininess to it and the frame-rate isn’t great either. They said this game would run well on the Xbox One and it has yet to show that. I’ve found that the game crashed 6 times in one day while only playing for 4 hours. To give some fairness, the game has not crashed since the new updates but I find it glitching as though you’re about to see a crash coming. The game is aesthetically appealing, I do give it that. NPCs.. and this is where I see another area that puts the game to shame. They aren’t hardly immersive at all. Immersive NPCs we are use to seeing in games like GTA. Those NPCs have far more personality and react far more to their surroundings, almost like they have a mind of their own. Cyberpunks NPCs are legitimately mindless. They have hardly any reaction to their own surroundings and nothing to what we are use to seeing GTA NPCs. I was hoping CD Projekt Red would had AT LEAST given NPCs far more life that of what we get in the game. As an immersive open world game as they described it to be (turned to be FALSE), you’d think NPCs have more reaction to the environment and the player itself. But not the case. There’s hardly anywhere you can shop or buy food, can’t buy property, gamble but I’ll give the game one thing. You can get prostitutes. That’s the only idea of immersion they actually had with the game. It’s awful.. No vehicle customization

Lots and lots bugs and graphical glitches, terrible NPC AI, frame-rate keeps dropping to below 15, it feels like i’m playing a 17 year old game on the original Xbox. $79.99 for a game that is filled with game-breaking glitches and bugs. Massive waste of money, do not buy this game.

    NPC's artificial intelligence is at a lower level than Skyrim.

    In particular, when you look at Skyrim, there are many interesting situations with NPCs.

    When NPCs go to sleep at home, they secretly steal food,

    Or you can steal items by secretly stealing items when NPCs turn their backs, or by putting something like a basket on the NPC's face...

    In addition, if the husband NPC who has married and has a wife is attracted to a monster and taken away, the married wife NPC becomes a widow.

    In this way, you can play freely, you can watch a couple NPCs having sex or having sex when you secretly enter the house at night using various erotic modes.

    But Cyberpunk 2077 can't do anything with NPCs. There is no variety of content.

    There is nothing to do except for quests and stories;

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This game is in an absolute horrible state for the Xbox One S. I am stuck on the heist mission on my nomad playthrough. It'll go through the sequence and right when Jackie dies it crashes the game. I tried playing that mission 20 or so tries and everytime it would crash. I then had to delete the entire game and redownload it just to bypass the crash point. It makes no sense on how there are games that look just as good or better on xbox like gta 5 or RDR2. There just isn't an excuse when it started in 2012, before the xbox and ps4 released and then to have it in the state it's currently in. They even had their motto when asked when they were going to release it and it was: "We'll release it when its ready". This game doesn't in any form look ready. And even when bringing up the point that it's an "8 year old console" isn't acceptable and those people are the problem because if it runs this bad and wasnt even optimized then they shouldn't have even released it to xbox one or ps4. They in fact shouldn't have even made a release date till there was just bugs in the game to fix not this graphical pile of crap.… Expand

Honestamente y sin miedo a equivocarme, creo que no recibimos un producto en peores condiciones en TODA LA GENERACIÓN y por ello, dudo que hayamos terminado más decepcionados. Sobran las palabras realmente.Ni la excelente historia, la narrativa o las mecánicas detrás de Cyberpunk 2077, salvan a éste título de la lamentable experiencia de juego gracias a una HORRENDA optimización. Honestamente y sin miedo a equivocarme, creo que no recibimos un producto en peores condiciones en TODA LA GENERACIÓN y por ello, dudo que hayamos terminado más decepcionados. Sobran las palabras realmente. Crasheos, bugs, obscenas caídas de frames, texturas pésimas y que no cargan, una resolución limitada, un sin número de desastres a nivel técnico que tiran por la borda absolutamente todo lo bueno que Cyberpunk 2077 ofrece en otros apartados y hacen que al menos al momento del lanzamiento del parche 1.04, el título sea injugable. Uno de los peores lanzamientos y de las peores experiencias de juego en Xbox One.

    Dudo realmente, que puedan desenterrar éste juego del lugar al que tristemente ha caído.

Dialogue overlapping and clipping drove me nuts (I feel for the localisation technicians and their thousands of JIRA entries). Visuals are so messed up it felt like I was playing an early xbox 360 game. Textures on my character and on NPCs were fuzzy and lacked detail.     This is unfortunate as the gameplay is actually good but is held back by the aforementioned issues. I been playing a stealth build. Hacking cameras and tagging enemies can be fun. In the last mission I silently took out a gangster guarding a side entrance, snuck into the building and collected a mission item then quietly made my escape. The map is loaded with side missions like that and are generally fun to play.

    Sadly the game is neither optimized for last gen or current gen consoles so I am not sure what CDPR‘S aim was here other than to let us all down at once. This is inexcusable when Rockstar was able to deliver a good and stable GTA 5 on the Xbox 360 then a couple years later release an Xbox One version. Why CDPR did not follow that template by first releasing on the XB1 followed a year or two later to the current gen hardware is a mystery to me.

    This is an epic fail for CDPR that needs to be remedied ASAP! If not I see a class action lawsuit in their future. Charging a premium price for a buggy broken game while hiding these issues until post-release is criminal.

    I gave the game a 2 as it is barely playable and hard to enjoy as the flaws are immersion breaking.    … Expand

    Cyberpunk 2077 will be the last game I preorder, the game is a mess and I'm playing it on a Series X, its full of glitches and broken mechanics, the graphics are decent and the story not surprisingly is very very good but i needed to save and load constantly and at one point it even shut my console off. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GAME, for now....

The graphical bugs have been well documented at this stage but the ones that occurred for me was that NPCs stood in a ‘T’ pose, the audio would play when they spoke but their lips wouldn’t move, my shadow was bald and was also in a ‘T’ pose and perhaps the most jarring - textures didn’t load. The gameplay bugs lead me to eventually secure a refund.I was so disappointed with this game.     Grausam zu spielen auf der Xbox one S. Von der matschig verschwommenen Grafik bekomme ich nach einer Stunde Kopfschmerzen, auch mit Hotfix 1.04. Die AI ist grottig bzw. nicht vorhanden. Keine Immersion, Fahrphysik schlecht. Zur Story kann ich nicht viel sagen weil ich mir das nicht weiter antun wollte.

    Barely playable simply put save your money the game is meh. Nothing really special wait for the next gen patches then buy.

    Horrible frame rate in low teens, 720p resolution, literally millions of bugs, dishonest developer advertising as the game does not match videos and screenshots shown, frequent crashes, game runs incredibly poorly, and due to all of the above the game is not fun at all. This isn't a game; it's a mess and the developer owes the entire gaming community a big apology.

    Lamentável lançarem um jogo neste estado, foram 7 anos em desenvolvimento, infelizmente só quem tem um PC bem parrudo ou a nova geração de consoles em mãos irá conseguir rodar e jogar este jogo sem os Crashes, sem os Bugs, sem a *fog que está deixando o jogo borrado, e principalmente sem a dublagem no Xbox one, em fim, o jogo saiu quebrado.

    It’s because of this fun gameplay and this great story that it’s such a shame Cyberpunk 2077 performs like it’s still in alpha.

    Overall, I think there’s a lot to like when it comes to Cyberpunk 2077, which has been unfortunately marred by poor performance issues on a number of platforms, and some poor communication (along with some overpromising) on the part of the publisher. It’s clear that a lot of work went into putting this game together, and it’s unfortunate that it had to release in a state that feels a little unfinished. It’s still a game you can very much derive enjoyment from, even in its current state but your ability to overlook open-world bugs and performance issues is certainly going to factor in quite a bit.

    Cyberpunk 2077 didn't meet my expectations, but also didn't disappoint me. It delivered an RPG experience like no other, delving deep into themes like control, awareness and addiction. The combat is great and the graphics are amazing, but the bugs and some under-cooked systems make it seem like the devs got lazy, and that's always a bad sign. (Played on Xbox Series X)
