At $60 it is a bit pricy, but if you liked 1 and 2 as much as I did it's worth that too.

    I like Crackdown 3. It isn't earth-shattering. It isn't world changing. But it's a ton of fun. Crackdown 3 doesn't try to reinvent the wheel. It doesn't try to in any way change the genre it is coming from or really move it forward. It instead attempts to refine what Crackdown was to a razors edge and deliver addictive combat that remains fun from beginning to end and offers a ton of replayability. And I think it succeeds brilliantly at that. The story is fun and over the top but is also not at all serious or critical to the experience. Crackdown 3 "really makes you feel like Spiderman." Graphics are competent. Not impressive in any way, but beautiful in their own way when you have the right hardware. On Xbox One X, or a GTX 1070+, you get drop down gorgeous 2160p HDR support. And this game does HDR better than nearly other game I can think of. The skyline is beautiful, the world design has some genuinely pretty moments, and the art style is pitch perfect to what the game is. Textures are competent but uncluttered, spartan in their aesthetic, but they stand out in delivering the design the developers wanted. Score is good, sound effects are solid, but the mix is bad. I immediately changed the mix to 80% on everything except character voice, when I noticed Terry Crews was basically whispering in the background. Once I did that, the final product was quite enjoyable. Not sure why they hid the character voice so much. Driving is the weakest part of the game, but it remains fun as well. ESPECIALLY when you have fully unlocked the agency vehicle. This game is, at its hot, a beat em up collectathon, and in that regard I've had a blast with it. It is one of the few games on the market I genuinely want to 100%. Carrots are spaced perfectly to reward you with new mechanics each time it begins to feel like it is dragging slightly. All aspects of the game are playable and fun, and the unlockable characters go a long way in diversifying it as well. Co-op is greatly appreciated and feels just as fun as it always did. The online multiplayer was necessary to fulfill promises made before Epic bought out Cloud-gen, but it's serviceable and not much more. It IS fun, but I don't foresee putting in 500 hours on it or even 50.

On a technical level, probably one of the most complex examples lighting and reflection mapping on consoles, bar none. Just point your car headlights at some pedestrians and check it out.

    Audio: Digital Home Theater users rejoice: the only other game that comes close is Doom 2016 in terms of the sheer quality of the techno magic that pours from your home theater system. An obvious pouring of love went into the overall sound design. Brilliant!

    Gameplay: Look: you can't on one hand commend a game like Mega Man 11, and on the other say Crackdown is lacking or unoriginal in that regard. Hints of Ratchet and Clank, classic platformer style collecting, arcadey driving, and some of the most INTENSE action ever on a screen at one time doesn't leave much room for any criticism beyond having expectations that the game didn't meet. which brings me to... the unfair metric of reviewing products based on personal desires instead of what's on your plate. Crackdown 3 may not be a balanced meal, but it is an extremely tasty apaer plate with your favorite junk food on it.

    Disregard the flamboyantly vocal minority on this one. It's sold out at 3 Gamestops, two Walmart Super Centers and a Target in my area. I had to drive 30 miles to get my copy the day after release, and I have one hell of a time putting this one down. It improves on everything Crackdown one had to offer and gives us one of the most amped action games in recent memory.

    I have no clue why this game is getting reviewed so poorly. Hits all the checkboxes from the first Crackdown game that made it a cult classic. Plenty of over the top action and puzzle platforming to be had.

    The story is about as deep as a puddle, and so are the characters, but that's fine, as you don't always need games to be cinematic masterpieces, sometimes you just want an episode of Jackass! If you liked the 1st CD, then this is more of the same and takes you back to a time when you could just enjoy a game for its over the top silliness.     The bad: It does not have the best story. Some planes in tall buildings seem scalable but they are not and there is no flash or mark that indicates which ones are scalable and which are not. The missions are repetitive. The curve of difficulty at the start is very warm but the final phases sticks a puzzling high. The personalization of the agents is very limited and the agent models are very few.

    The Meh!: Apparently many are evaluating the game only watching videos or Beta-Tester versions or test versions of Insiders, which are far from what is the final game.    … Expand

    Played on Game Pass. This game is pure fun. Haven't noticed any game breaking bugs yet. Played it 5 hrs straight today. Had to turn the game off to get stuff done.

    This game is a lot of fun with great gameplay and graphics. I'm enjoying everything about it and Crackdown 3 features everything that i enjoy about the Crackdown series.

    This looks like an original xbox game and the movement is basic, with surroundings looking like they're made from cardboard. This is so disappointing considering how long we waited for this game to release. With all of this put aside, the campaign is also poor, so no real incentive to keep playing.

    Mesmo descontando o tanto de haters da Sony aqui dando 0 para o jogo, só tenho a dizer que o recalque é de matar. O jogo cumpre muito bem o que promete, MP super divertido e que te faz gastar horas jogando.....

    If you like Crackdown 1 you will love Crackdown 3. The action, progression is great. History is ok , but Crackdown was never about the history. Technically/overall is a good game

    Crackdown faz bem feito no quesito gameplay.
    O controle foi totalmente pensado para a fluides do caos, o layout de botoes proporciona um controle perfeito do personagem, permitindo movimentação e combos fluidos.
    Por mais que jogo seja rápido, a animação dos personagens esta bem polida, você consegue sentir todos os movimentos que realiza , desde pular, rolar, agachar, dar um soco no    Crackdown faz bem feito no quesito gameplay.
    O controle foi totalmente pensado para a fluides do caos, o layout de botoes proporciona um controle perfeito do personagem, permitindo movimentação e combos fluidos.
    Por mais que jogo seja rápido, a animação dos personagens esta bem polida, você consegue sentir todos os movimentos que realiza , desde pular, rolar, agachar, dar um soco no inimigo, até mesmo dar um dash no ar.
    Os frames por segundo estão bem estáveis, tenho 10 horas de gameplay em um xbox fat day one, e não houve nenhuma queda de fps bizarro como acontecia muito comigo em just cause 3, (Má otimização) .
    Deram uma atenção melhor na campanha, com cinematics que lembram quadrinhos.
    não cheguei testar o multiplayer porém como já foi dito em outras reviews não é um jogo que é focado no multiplayer e sim na campanha, vou colocar como não foi possivel avaliar.
    Gostei bastante da física dos veículos, não é algo que se compare com GTA por exemplo, mas já é bem solido, veículos são mais legais de pilotar no jogo.
    A dificuldade lendária é bem justa, Você morre por fazer besteira no jogo e não por inimigos que dão hit kill, fora que é bem desafiador pois muitas vezes a um grande número de inimigos para enfrentar.
    Senti falta de mais falas do terry porém como jogo na versão dublada do jogo achei que ficou esquisito você ouvir a voz dele abafada em alguns momentos do jogo.    … Expand

    Se ve como un juego de dos generaciones atrás, además que no aporta nada en el mundo de los videojuegos y es impresionante que duraron tantos años haciendolo y entregaron algo realmente mediocre.

    I've put 20 hours into the game so far and it's great. Graphics are definitely current gen, there are some very impressive effects, most notably the smoke/gas/steam. The game is a sequel to the first Crackdown and plays just like it with some much needed updates, including the godsend of storing checkpoints as you climb towers and the ability to load those checkpoints if you miss a jump. This was one of the reasons I never went for completing the original game... too frustrating. They've added other things like multiple agents with level up bonuses, a spider car that can drive up walls, and a multitude of new weapons for creating chaos.

    The game is a AAA title, and I've encountered no bugs. It has a high level of polish and plays like butter. Everything has been polished and shined to a mirror-finish. The extra time they took shows in the final product. If you are a fan of the original crackdown, you will guaranteed like this game and appreciate all the updates and improvements they've brought for this iteration.    … Expand

With more investment in development and a little more imagination Crackdown could of been a fun little filler game, unfortunately it has been put out to die and done so in the cheapest way possible.     Don't know what went on behind the scenes, but the game itself is actually really fun. It's painful to see it shat on by so many critics who I doubt have even tried it. For those who just want to jump into a game, have fun and blow **** up then this game is for you.

    This game plays and looks like a game that is outdated in every fashion. How such a poorly designed game can be the result of a development time of five years is beyond me. Don't waste your money on this.

    Great game. The fans will love it.The game evolved and updated the mechanics that made it successful in 2007. Despite production problems, Microsoft is to be congratulated on keeping the game to the end.!

I've only played the campaign so far and for someone who quit playing agents of mayhem 20 minutes after starting it because I thought it was stupid and pointless its actually still better than this. Unlike state of decay 2 though this game is clean, I'veThis feels and plays like 2010 game, MS took 6 years to make it and they probably need another 6 to get it to where games are nowadays. I've only played the campaign so far and for someone who quit playing agents of mayhem 20 minutes after starting it because I thought it was stupid and pointless its actually still better than this. Unlike state of decay 2 though this game is clean, I've hardly had any glitches or tech issues, Terry jumps. runs and drives with great ease and the shooting mechs are ok. It’s not a deep modern open world game, but it’s also not going to waste your time asking you to ride your horse for hours or eat constantly. It’s a game that just wants you to have fun traversing the world like a super hero wreaking havoc with ridiculous guns.     i would definitely give the game at least an 8.0 but gave it a 10.0 to counteract some of the negative Pony trolls.

    When you start a game and you can't put it down for 4 hours....THAT is what fun is.
    The traversal is spot on. The controls are tight 99% of the time. I did notice a little glitch when picking something up and trying to throw it. Sometimes my character won't actually release it. Maybe I am doing something wrong.
    But one way that I know a game is high quality is when I literally get vertigo playing it. When climbing the propaganda towers I get such a sense of vertigo that I have to change the camera angle so that I can't look down. Its scary and thrilling, and fun all at the same time.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Crackdown 3 has something that a lot of games right now struggle to gain even after years of updating. A genuinely fun experience. Can that make up however for general lack of depth in story and overall setting?

    Crackdown 3 presents its much like the first one. You are a bad ass agent starting from the bottom and you slowly but surely build your agent based on how you fight and what you choose to do. Each level in each skill unlocks new moves and overall increases the power of your agent till they reach pretty much god mode. You can run, jump, smash, shoot, or blow up your enemies in spectacular fashion. You can choose different hero to help boost certain stats as well as to drop some choice one liners like Jaxon's "F*ck Gravity!" line that pops up occasionally when I am jumping across the city.

    The story line is very similar to the first one in terms of the core set up. Beat the underlings to take on the big baddie. To do so you have to destroy certain hot points in the city that belong to different factions and unlock a different boss. The villains are over the top, egocentric, mad men who want nothing more than world domination. As is per usual. Each boss has been challenging enough for the point I was at in the game that I did have to actually focus on what I was doing and make an effort more than just random punching shooting, and exploding. This is easily the weakest point in the game however, and the game seems to be abundantly aware of this as it never takes itself to seriously in its story telling. The story isn't overly complex as it is honestly just a basic backdrop to explain why you are doing what you are doing. The real meat and potatoes of this game is the random things to do, taking back hot points and fighting enemies in new ways. As well as hitting up all the random side activities around the map like, street races, collectibles and propaganda towers. Each of these is its own mini game and as the game proceeds on they get harder. This can eventually get old however as there isn't much added flavor to the tasks as you go on and it becomes a lot of the same. With that said this game will provide 10-20 hours of solid fun, but the real question is: Is this game worth $60?

    The unfortunate answer is, no it isn't. I think this game is a hoot, I also have game pass and didn't actually pay for it. I honestly still would have paid for it as I played the first two, loved them and have been waiting for this for a long time. I don't think the purchase would have made me happy though. The game is very fun and overall enjoyably however the content is just too shallow and turns into a repeat grind of the same general task just made a bit harder. If you have game pass it is well worth the time to have some fun in New Providence, which is why I am giving this a 7/10, unfortunately though I don't think the game can stand up to a full purchase price, wait for sale.    … Expand

    What I discovered was much more, the game steals the show by being completely true to its roots. With a story that can be taken at any turn and a city that is fun to jump around, with obstical courses,stunt rings, orbs, collectables and plently of bad guys to kill.

    Crackdown 3 does what I like to call "gameplay focus' , it doesn't out do itself with a massive in depth story like Halo or Mass Affect, it doesn't have a large interactive city like Grand Theft Auto, but it does one thing amazingly, lets you have fun. For hours at a time, its hard to get board when you can kill such a variety of bad guys with such creative weapons, from a street sign, a dead body, a rock, a truck, a grenade, a car and even an exploding duck. This game is something I reccomend you play.

    Negative reviews aren't always true, this does what it wants really well, it plays like crackdown, bringing you the old age experience from the beygone era of Halo 3 and the original crackown, a time before micro transactions and corporate greed. This game is mayhem and explosive.    … Expand

    * Crackdown 3 is the best game in the series, and undoubtedly improves everything that was 1 and corrects the errors of 2.
    * It has an interesting story and that for my taste was good, I really entertained myself, even the humor of Terry Crews was very good, it is also cooperative and you can also play alone.
    * It has a great variation of weapons for combat
    * Some of your missions can be entertaining since it is not so repetitive.
    * The locations on the maps has also improved, something that actually since 2 had that error.
    * His cinematics are good and well elaborated.
    * Your multiplayer is very entertaining and addictive

    Totalmente underrated e não merecia o Hate que está tomando, principalmente no Brasil onde só tem gado simplório, onde o ódio vem a cima de qualquer coisa, são pessoas que seguem o senso comum e são facilmente manipuláveis, não decidem o que é bom, elas deixam as pessoas fazerem isso por elas.

    Crackdown 3 is an occasionally-fun shooter that puts you in an open world with Terry Crews (or whoever you choose to be if not Terry) to do big Terry Crews stuff - this is perhaps the most redeeming aspect of the game from start to finish. An open world campaign is pretty corny but is redeemed at times with tough boss fights that take place in unique settings. Visuals are disappointing given that so much was made about the physics performance with the help of Microsoft's Azure handling so much of that workload while the world of Crackdown 3 looks like an unfinished Tron metropolitan city. At launch, there's a lot of quirks too like objects stuttering and being hard to jump/mantle on or pick up because they're not staying in place or playing co-op and weapons malfunctioning and glitching out players (my buddy used a weapon that creates a mini black hole which affected me and glitched me out of existence and underneath the map until I finally died 5 minutes later after being locked out of the game). If there was a well-written campaign with a better focus that wasn't so short then I'd be much more interested in this game. If there was more attention put toward visuals and physics performance then I'd appreciate looking at and experiencing this game. If there was a multiplayer system that worked like any other game in 2019 and not 2001 then I'd enjoy this game even more despite the multiplayer mode being bland and rarely exciting. Crackdown 3 isn't finished and it's obvious. You might still enjoy the game and I had my laughs and fun at times but I'm so glad that I was able to play this game on Xbox Game Pass or I would really hate on this game because nobody should be paying $60 for this. Destacar sobre todo el constante autoapuntado que quita todo tipo de desafio de abilidad y solo deja al jugador con la capacidad de moverse, haciendolo bastante repetitivo y con una falta grave de desafio. En este modo encontramos mas destrucción, pero una vez más, no es lo que se prometió que sería.

It even gives you the ability to play the campaign in Co-op and with the correct friends that can make the action almost double the fun.

    I can not deny that it is very disappointing that at launch it is not possible to play the multiplayer with a friends in a Party, but this hopeful will be available later on . However for me personally it does not matter much, as I most of the time play online on my own anyway, do however realize that this is a big down side for a lot of people.

    Hate to say it, but Deep Silver's Agents of Mayhem did a better job at being Crackdown than Crackdown 3 does. Crackdown 3 feels like a cheap facsimile of Crackdown.

    I'm eternally grateful it's on game pass and feel terrible for people who actually spent $60 on it. You'd think this game would cater to someone like myself, as I loved the hell out of the first Crackdown... but instead all it's done is illustrate how poorly Crackdown's design has aged compared to the rest of the gaming world. If anyone has played and enjoyed previous games in the series then you will definitely enjoy this installment and it is nice to have a new game in the series! It's not gonna compete with the likes of Red Dead 2 but it is notThis game DOES NOT deserve all the negative reviews it has been getting! It is a Crackdown game and it plays and feels like you would expect a Crackdown game to!     If you played the first game and had fun then you'll have a pretty good idea what you are getting. Great use of the HDR settings as well, the game is bright and vibrant. Looking forward to having a ball in Wrecking Zone

    Whoever bought Xbox One X expecting to play a great game as it was presented at E3 has probably been disappointed, Xbox 360 games have already done much more mastery than Crackdown 3 set out to do.

    Crackdown 3 is about 10 years too late! A game as empty and lifeless after 5 years of development is shameful. Graphics are horrible and the buildings don't even look like buildings, They lied about the destruction aspect of the game which was the main selling point and there's literally nothing too the game. This and Fallout 76 have been the worst supposed AAA games this generation.

    This is crackdown through and through. It looks like crackdown, plays like crackdown and sounds like crackdown. The visuals are fine, crackdown has always had a comic like look. The game IMO is a 8/10 but I added a +1 for Terry cause he is awesome and a +1 to go against all the hilariously ridiculous 0's.

    It isn’t going to win any Game of the Year awards (I never expected it to), but it is exactly what I wanted it to be, more Crackdown. If you liked either of the first 2 games you should absolutely play this. If you didn’t, this game will be unlikely to convert you.

    Every now and then a masterpiece arrives: Ocarina of time, half-life, the last of us and now the microsoft epic Crackdown 3. I cant honesty believe how they managed to develop such an instant classic of endless entertainment :)

    As a whole the game is... Well its ok there's some huge pros such as:
    Terry crews plays the main agent if you chose to use him
    It has an old-school arcade feel that doesn't take itself seriously at all. The progression system is fun and finding it a to advance your agent is addictive Cross play means I can play for a few hours on my PC then pickup and play at the same spot on my Xbox    As a whole the game is...     The cons
    The combat crackdown 3 suffers from death by combat repetition even if you play on PC or Xbox it's right trigger left trigger repeat the auto lock plays the game for you even on the PC the auto lock is the prime method of gameplay

    The lack of destruction seriously this game touted that we would see ms use the power of the cloud it's been delayed countless times over 6 years in order to get it's destructible environments just right but destruction is no where to be found in the campaign I can throw a grenade at a wall and nothing.

    The story is non existent agents come into city, city run by evil corporation, take them down the game barely pretends to have one which is fine but when you have a character played by a actor like Terry crews at least utalise him here and there.

    They paid Terry for just showing up his line can be summarised on a two page script

    Overall the games just ok but its lack of destruction and story and repetitive gameplay really hurts it    … Expand

    Don't listen to the hate on this game. It's not the best ever, but it's certainly not worth all the negative press it's getting. It's mindless fun. But a LOT of fun. Orb hunting, blowing crap up, evolving your skills... it's everything that CD2 should have been. If you were a fan of the first one then you'll love this one.

O maior problema talvez seja o preço, mas nem tanto, pq tipo, talvez a crítica esteja pegando no pé do jogo pelo seu preço, mas ao mesmo tempo deveriam levar em conta que os PCs e Xbox One ganharam a promoção de 2 reais por 2 mêses de Game pass, então pelo menos agora no começo isso não é realmente um problema, quem não gostar, apenas experimenta e desinstala, sei lá, mas ainda acho que os críticos não pegaram no pé do jogo por isso, afinal, jogos de Lego são super simples e sempre vem com um preço de jogos como Red Dead 2. Por fim, o jogo ser um shooter similar aos do 360 não deveria ser algo ruim, eu achei ótimo, a 7a geração foi a minha favorita e Celeste e outros jogos se inspiram em jogos de 8/16 bits e ganham até premiação a GOTY, kkk. Em fim, Crackdown 3 é de longe o melhor o melhor da sua trilogia, respeita os originais e inova em várias mecânicas, só acho que poderiam ter adicionado coisas novas que os antigos n tinham, como motos ou veículos do mar, mas concluindo, Crackdown 3 é um jogo bastante divertido, recomendo que joguem o jogo e tirem as suas próprias conclussões, pq não me divirto com um jogo assim a um bom tempo.     A great addition to the crackdown franchise. Retains the essence of crackdown 1 with upgraded graphics. I have seen multiple negative comments that are practically copy and pasted using different user names. The lengths fanboys go to is absurd.

    It's pretty hard to admit but...this game sucks in so many ways that It would be impossible to describe each one! There's no physics system... the buildings explode as if they were made of styrofoam or something like this...Characters expressions are ridiculous. Storytelling? Forget about it.... Microsoft, I want my money back!

    This was a great surprise. I planned to just try it for a couple of hours, but I couldn't put it down. Pure fun. Remember that? Games should be fun. Judge every game the same way. Was it fun? After 7 hours I said yes. After 7 more I still said yes.

    We can't recommend Crackdown 3 in good faith. It has its moments, but you need to be a fan of uncomplicated run'n'gun gameplay to enjoy them – and even then, the action takes way too long to pick up. [Issue#236, p.42]
